Scam company!
I’m travelling from several months and 40 days ago I arrived in India. After one month on mainland and the last week spent on Andamans Islands,I had a flight from Port Blair to Kolkata and a connection flight from Kolkata to Bangkok.
Once arrived in Port Blair Airport, the employees told me that, not having an immigration office there, I had to take my backpack in Kolkata and check-in again.
Fine.

Arrived in Kolkata and collected my bag at 13.45, I move to SpiceJet desk for the Check-in the flight for Bangkok (SG43) scheduled for h15.45

After a long wait in queue, the guy at the desk communicate me that if I would enter in Thailand, I should need to have and show them the Hotel reservation, Health insurance statement and a confirmed flight out of Thailand in one month.
I was pretty sure that having an Italian Passport, I didn’t need a VISA for Thailand (up to 45 days) and I tried to explain this to the desk-employee.
His answer was just:
‘even for Italians is mandatory!’
I asked him several times if he was sure, but he was inamovable.

So I said ‘ok let’s check-me in and if I’ll need, I’ll buy a flight ticket at the Visa-office in Bangkok’
No way, the clerk didn’t want to let me get the flight without the required documents.

At 14.45, with the plane leaving soon, I found my self in the senseless situation to buy an useless flight from Bangkok to Vientiane (that I would never use as I will continue my travel by land to Laos and then to Vietnam) just in order to take my plane for Bangkok!

A few hours ago I arrived in Suvarnabhumi Airport and at the Passport control gate, the girl simply told me ‘No Sir, you don’t need anything. As per Italians citizens, you’ve 45-days visa free’ …

After lot of emails, they cotinuento apologize for the delay of the flight….. no refund, no communication from management even in Cc. embarrassing non-management of the problem and indeed, general ignorance, beyond stupidity
Just a scam company, avoid that

J'ai constaté que mes bagages ne sont…

J'ai constaté que mes bagages ne sont pas arrivés à destination. Les bagages que j'ai enregistré sur ce vol ( AI 142)
J'ai envoyé email, j'ai appelé pour retrouver mon bagage mais aucune nouvelle de leur part. Ils travaillent sans professionnalisme

Aucune responsabilité, compagnies aériennes terribles, je n'ai jamais rien vécu de tel. Je voudrais dire à tout le monde si possible d'éviter de voler avec cette compagnie ou vous le regretterez pour le reste de votre vie. J'attends mon vol de 11h à l'aéroport et les gens là-bas sont tellement impolis et dois payer nouveau billet juste parce que je n'a pas visa pour check-in à nouveau pour le escale très mauvais compagnie.

Un vol long sans aucun programme audio ou video disponible. écrans de l avion ne fonctionnait pas et quand après de nombreux essais et de soi je relance du programme on voyait enfin quelque chose il n'y avait pas de son. On ne pouvait pas voir le trajet ni rien Les écouteurs donnés par hôtesses n étaient pas adaptés des sièges.....Le personnel derrière moi essayait de poussé le siège avec sa jambe je suis secoué tout de long trajet .

Beware international travellers

Beware, international travellers!
There is no reliable way to contact this airline from outside India. Despite repeated emails, there was no response from the company for a month! I had to then warn about raising a complaint. They also did not refund the money to the original payment system but rather kept it in their website account.
It was very stressful experience, would never use this airline again.

Bad.

Hello Team, SG-8472 flight got canceled and I initiated the refund through the SpiceJet website on 5-Dec-22. Till today 46,470/- the amount is not yet returned.
Whenever I called to customer support helpline and via mail communication, they confirmed that the refund was initiated on 5-Dec-22, but they are not ready to share the transaction reference number as well.
Before booking a flight, please take the correct decision.

NOT WORTH PAYONG FOR PREFERD SEAT

We booked and paid for seats but on PNR it did not show although had a receipt for it. Not worth buying prefer seat and meal as useless they allocate at the counter
Still waiting no response for 14 days.

Only because don't have any below option.They behave as if they are professional,however in reality they are biggest cheat.It's high time we should have boycott spicejet airline at utmost priority.On daily basis there are numerous occasion of customer complaint with regard to weight at check-in and cabin baggage. The people at reception are highly impolite and unprofessional finding ways to trouble customer

Scam airline

Booked the tickets for 2 passengers in August to fly in December (Dubai to Mangalore) in order to get cheap fares..

Airline cancelled the tickets November end with no option of reschedule.

Now I booked expensive tickets as we are nearing the travel dates through Indigo.
Further, it's been almost the month and have not received a refund.

Never ever going to use Spice Jet.

Worst airline ever, consistent delays with every single flight. Never fly with them!

Flight got delayed by 9+ hours (still delayed, haven't boarded yet so might get delayed more who knows). All SG274 flights and in fact every spice jet flight has a history of bad delays citing "operational reason" so avoid. This airline has literally no respect for a passenger's time or money, with their consistent delays. 0 accomodations made by the airline staff. No refreshments provided either. And no alternative same day flights were provided. Even the airline staff were saying it was the worst mistake of their life joining their role, so you can get a sense of the state of the airline. This flight was supposed to reach Pune at 4:15 PM but due to delays, is now started to arrive at 1:15 AM. If I wanted to travel alone late at night, I'd book my flight accordingly. And even though they are providing refunds, it is useless because booking a same day flight with another airline independently is obviously going to be super expensive. They don't have any tie-up's with other airlines so they can't accomodate in alternative airline flights. and obviously nobody would want to have tie-up's with such terrible and unreliable airlines. Still stuck at the airport for 9+ hours, ugh. Horrible. Never going to fly with spice jet ever again, even if it's the last and only airline available and all other airlines and flights cease to exist.

Pathetic rip-off company - stay away from it by miles

Pathetic airline company with specifically designed schemes to rip you off big time. Had checked in luggage of 20 kg and 7 kg for cabin.

Although my checked in luggage was less than 20 kg, on check in their employee haven't warned me that they will weight and charge a whooping 60 AED (15 EUR) per kg of overweight cabin luggage.

So on the gate they "found out" that I have 5 kg of "overweight" cabin luggage, although my checked in + cabin luggage was within the flight limit. So they ripped me off for 80 EUR (300 AED) with a smile. When I told them it's not fair as my total luggage weight was within flight limit, they just laughed and told "it's an airport, not company" which is an outright lie.

Plane itself was worn out and uncomfortable.

Flight was definitely not worth that money.

This is a pathetic airline company that I will definitely avoid for the rest of my life.

Best tip is to avoid this fradulent company.

Pathetic airline and pathetic staff

Pathetic airline and pathetic staff. I do not have words to write the review of this airline. We were supposed to fly back from Shirdi to Delhi with 3 senior citizens and 1 5 years old boy. Sitting all time on the waiting gate for 3 hours and they missed us to board the flight. Seems strange and its what happened to us. When we enquired staff started to shout, agrue, threaten and said do whatever you can its does not make any difference to us and our reputation. The spicejet ground staff headed by a manager named Krishna Rambhau Shinde @ShirdiAirport is the worst leader you can expect in such a sensitive customer based industry. I would never fly with spicejet and would urge to all of you dont opt spicejet because it is couple of hundred rupees cheap and its going to be a life long mistake.

Unreliable airlines

For a one hour long trip, Spicejet made me wait overnight at the airport because they delayed the flight by 10hours. Horrible experience. Will never take spicejet again. It's not reliable at all.

The pathetic airlines

The pathetic flight. One should not travel with this flight for any reason. Their staff is betrayers, non professional and rude.
I have heard flight getting late take offs but never heard of flight flying before time.. I missed my flight from delhi to Nashik and there are many other passengers who missed due to same reason. And today at Nashik airport they cancelled the flight after issuing boarding passes. Never heard of this unprofessionalism…
They should leave this business and start some buisness related to spices as their name..
No compensation, no refund even no courtesy to reply politely. They put all the blame’s on customers…

Pathetic flight, pathetic staff.

Very bad customer service: take amount from my creditcard even if flight is not booked

Bad customer service. Tried to book tickets in August 2022 for a flight to Jaisalmer. Tried to pay by creditcard but system failed and I got message that the transaction was aborted. Then i noticed that the amount was taken 2 times from my creditcard without even having a ticket. Since then I have been sending emails to get the money back and the only answer they give (if they give one) is that I have to be patient and give them time to investigate this. Not much investigation about this, it is just theft...
