I have to say, after reading all the reviews I didn't experience anything bad. The watch is great, the shipping was fast and the customer service in my case was excellent, they even went out of their way to resolve a small shipping matter. Based on my experience they were very good and the watch is also very good.

Montres belles ....a voir avec le temps....La Marque fait de bonnes réductions....MAIS LES FRAIS DE DOUANE SONT ÉNORMES ..Pas moins de 150€ !!!! Ouuuuf !!!!
Ne recommande pas le site de la marque en lui même.

The watch is great, I have the Spinnaker Fluess, it keeps time, has a very good case finish and I can now vouch that this watch is entirely waterproof as I have been swimming with it most days since I acquired it in December. The only gripe I have is the strap is already coming apart, it has split.

Is there a strap suitable for water activities?

The watches look great on the website but there’s a reason they’re why they are inexpensive: they look very very cheap.

When you want to return what you’ve bought (and you will), you have to request an authorisation number which they will take about a week to arrive and which you’ll have to chase.

When it does finally arrive it comes with the return address… in Hong Kong!

DO NOT BE TEMPTED TO BUY. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Aucune indication quant aux frais de douane que l'on reçoit plusieurs jours après la réception du colis. 55€ pour une montre à 170€. Plus jamais je commanderai ici.

Bon rapport qualité prix pour ce type de montre finition plus que correcte pour le prix. Attention aux droits de douane et frais supplémentaires, les montres viennent de Hong-Kong. C'est important de savoir que le service après vente est inexistant, donc si vous commandez une montre de chez eux, même sous garantie et qu'elle tombe en panne, vous n'aurez que les yeux pour pleurer.

I recently acquired a couple of Spinnaker watches in a seconde-seconde collab and Spinnaker was absolutely fantastic with their customer service after I didnt properly receive a promo code. I also received the watches in the exact specifications as promised and looked even better in person. Spinnaker was extremely responsive and had some of the best customer service I've ever experienced (and I've been in this hobby for 20 years). Will continue to share my experience with friends and family and hopefully get some more watches from them for the holidays!

I ordered the Spinnaker Fleuss through Amazon - So impressed I bought a Croft 40mm and a Bradner - Love all of them - Very well made, very reasonable price and no issues with delivery through Amazon.

You will pay the VAT plus the Courier fees regardless of whether you are in or out of the EU. I did quit fancy one. Now won’t bother.

Politique de frais opaque. A l'achat...prix incluant les frais de port. Un mois après réception facture FEDEX de 109€ pour les droits de douane. Le site nindique pas que les montres sont concues et livrees depuis HONGKONG. Le prix n'est plus aussi attractif en incluant les droits de douane. J'ai testé, je n'y retournerai pas.

I bought a Spinnaker Watch, HASS PEBBLE BLACK Model.

At a first glance, it looked to be OK. But after some days of use, I found that there is some white dust on the dial (wich is a black dial). So here I started to search thoroughly for any other defect.

I also found that the bracelet had some blue stains between the links. Not easy to see. These stains went away with some water and soap, but seems that the stains were polish paste. However, after removing these blue stains, there are some kind of rust stains that cannot be removed. Even though these stains are not easy visible, but this should be a new watch withouth any flaw.

And the last issue with this faulty watch: I was adjusting the date and time on the watch, and found that the crown is crooked. I have to mention that the crown screws in and out fine. But by turning the crown half a turn you can see how it has a different angle.

I cannot understand Spinnaker's poor quality control

This was my first and last spinnaker. I would never buy another Spinnaker watch again. There are some other "microbrands" quite better than Spinnaker, with a very good quality control and customer service.

Purchased the Boettger limited edition dive watch. The packaging is beautiful and so is the watch. I will have to say that the bezel is very hard to grip. It needs to extend out further from the case but that's not a deal breaker if your not a professional diver. Unfortunately there are some problems that are very disappointing. As a dive watch they were thoughtful to have a metal and rubber strap. Unfortunately the bands are attached by a two piece pin with screw head on both sides. They did include a small screw driver but it's useless. It will not fit in the lug holes and it's only one. The other issue is the long end of the pin does not go through and into the other lug so alignment of the two sides are near impossible. Last is the strap. The strap is made out of an almost sticky rubber instead of silicone. It is extremely hard to get the one end through the first loop because of it's sticking. Until they fix the pins and make a band out of silicone I have to unfortunately say stay away from this watch or any of there watches that are like this one. Just ashame for such a beautiful watch.

Remember when Shakespeare wrote, "All that glitters is not gold"? I think he was talking about Spinnaker watches. They look great and appear to be well made, but if you encounter a problem the customer service is woeful. They will simply direct you to Mistal Time Services Ltd who are Spinnaker's only authorised repairers in the UK. Mistal will take up to THREE MONTHS to review your watch, and then give you an estimate which is usually far more than you originally paid for it!
"Ok Mistal, can you just supply me with the spare parts so I can do the repair myself?" Answer, "No, we're not 'authorised' to do that". Mistal will hold you over a barrel:- either pay their extortionate invoice or chuck your watch away. A good watch company is measured by it's back-up service when things occasionally go wrong. I get the impression that Spinnaker just want to sell watches, and don't really give a damn about their customers.

Here is a copy of my message sent to spinnaker today regarding a repair to a watch unworn and just over 12mths old

Hi I messaged you on the 10th January 2023 about a faulty watch, the watch has been sent to Mistal time and they have informed me that you don’t have any record of me purchasing this watch which I find quite shocking since if you look at the picture attached I have purchase all but one of my spinnaker watches brand new off your website

The Hull vintage black was actually purchased the same time around my hydrofoil watch as well

Mistal time have now informed me that I need to pay £96 to have this watch repaired which I may add it’s never been worn not once it’s sat in my watch box waiting for the perfect occasion for me to wear it

I refuse to be stung for the repair cost when I know you will have a record of me buying this watch, my emails have automatically deleted themselves which is my fault and not saving or archiving the receipts but you would think that a company like yourself would have a copy since by law your allowed to keep my information for up to 6 years with the data protection act, I will also add that I have purchased a good few of these watches through Klarna so I have contacted them for copy of my purchases through their app also.

I would like a reply on what is going to happen here and I’m sorry but if this isn’t resolved I will selling my spinnakers and never using your brand again, I’ve had better customer service from steel dive which are far cheaper than yourselves and by the looks of it a better product to own.

They made me pay over 25% retail price.
They send you your watch from Hong Kong and then make you pay all tariffs and taxes, in my case, after buying a €299 watch I had to pay another €81 in taxation that they should have covered...

If you try to return the watch to avoid this ridiculousness, they not only don't cover shipping for your return but also make you pay for the original order's shipment.

Je passe une commande pour 3 montres pour environ 600€.
La livraison s'est effectuée par FedEx et j'ai du payer 156€ de taxes et droits de douanes soit 25% du prix ! Sans quoi on ne me délivrait pas mon colis.
Je pensais que les montres partaient d Angleterre mais en fait elles partent de Hong Kong. Spinnaker n'est pas clair la dessus et il faut aller lire les conditions générales pour s'en apercevoir. Ce que personne ne fait surtout pour une marque qui se revendique anglaise.
Cette mauvaise information est dommage car les montres sont de belles qualités mais le plaisir a été gâché.
Précisez les lieux d'origine de vos envois pour que vos clients ne soit pas mis sous le fait accomplis. D'autres sites le font en mettant un petit drapeau du pays d'envois et là on sait clairement qu'on peut s'attendre à des frais.

I am shocked to be charged 20% VAT plus…
I am shocked to be charged 20% VAT plus service fee by Fedex on delivery because Spinnaker products are shipped from Hong Kong. In France the purchase is marked taxes: €0 / shipping 0€ and yet for a simple watch band, an extra bill of €17 is sent by Fedex a couple of weeks after delivery. This is terrible. Imagine the extra 20% on the full watch price! Avoid this retailer who hides the extra charges which European customers will have to pay on delivery.

I purchased a Piccard in dark cerulean. The watch runs over 20 minutes fast a month right out of the box. Definitely needs recalibration or something so i contacted spinnaker just a couple of months after purchase for how to get it repaired as i expected better than 20+ minutes fast a month from a new watch. I was provided by email (good luck finding a customer service phone number as it is non-existent on their website or the internet) a 3rd party repair center and an RMA # with instructions to go to a link for the 3rd party repair center. Believe it or not, even though brand new i have to pay shipping, insurance and $28 for evaluation to get it to them and an additional $5.00 to insure it through the post office for them to return it to me. Buyer beware as they don't repair their products and you will have to pay the 3rd party repair company just to look at it even when under warranty. BTW- even the 3rd party repair center said they didn't have a number for them which i find hard to believe.
