Fantastic customer service from SPRockets!
I recently had a delivery issue where the courier delivered my order to the wrong address, meaning I never received my parcel. After contacting SPRockets, they dealt with the problem quickly and professionally, and immediately arranged a replacement shipment.
The replacement arrived without any issues, and I couldn’t be happier with how everything was handled. It’s refreshing to deal with a company that genuinely cares about its customers and resolves problems without unnecessary delays.

Very poor experience
Very poor experience — I would strongly recommend avoiding Sprockets UK.
I placed an order with Sprockets UK for a Nitto stem on 22 May. At the time of ordering, the item appeared to be available through their online shop. Shipment/tracking data was later generated, but the tracking never progressed beyond the stage of the courier supposedly waiting to collect/receive the parcel. In other words, there was tracking information, but no real evidence that the parcel was ever actually handed over for transport.
I contacted the shop after the tracking had been stuck for days. My message went unanswered for a long time. The only explanation I eventually received was that my emails had gone into spam and that Paul would “look into it”. No proper dispatch confirmation, no useful tracking update, no clear delivery date, and no immediate refund were offered at that stage.
After more than 20 days from ordering, I still had no parcel and no clear answer. Later, I was told that the next Nitto delivery would be in about two months, which strongly suggested that the item had not actually been available to dispatch when I ordered it, despite being sold through the website. This made the earlier generated tracking/shipment data especially concerning, because the parcel still appeared not to have been accepted by the carrier.
Because the issue was not resolved directly by the shop, I opened a chargeback/payment dispute with my bank for goods not received. Only after the bank became involved did the matter move towards resolution. I was also asked to remove/cancel the chargeback before the refund had actually appeared back in my account, which I consider completely unreasonable from a customer-protection point of view.
It is now July 2nd and my bank has now confirmed that the claim has been defended in my favour and I expect the money to be returned to my account. I am therefore likely to recover my money through the bank process, not because Sprockets UK handled the situation properly.
The main issue was not only the delay. Delays can happen, especially with specialist bicycle parts. The problem was the combination of taking payment, unclear stock availability, tracking/shipment data that did not result in an actual dispatched parcel, poor communication, vague explanations, and no straightforward resolution until I involved my bank.
Based on this experience, I will not buy from Sprockets UK again. If you do order from them, I strongly recommend paying by a method with buyer protection and keeping every email, order confirmation, payment receipt, and tracking screenshot.

Wow, what a great experience. Needed some urgent bits for flying my bike home to Australia. Paul @ Sprockets Aylesham was courteous and helpful. The shop had a great range of parts and accessories.

Bike Service/repair
I recently had my road bike repaired at Sprockets, and overall I’m very satisfied with the experience. The service was professional from start to finish, and it was clear the mechanic knew exactly what they were doing.
Paul Hudson was extremely helpful and very professional, taking the time to explain what needed fixing and ensuring everything was completed to a high standard. A full service was carried out, which has made a noticeable difference to the overall performance of the bike.
During the inspection, the main issues identified were a freehub bearing problem, a seized headset, and a seized wheel bearing. All of these were addressed effectively, and the bike now rides noticeably smoother, shifts cleanly, and feels much safer—especially on descents.
Turnaround time was excellent, and communication throughout was clear and helpful. The attention to detail was exceptional, which really stood out.
Overall, I’d highly recommend Sprockets to anyone looking to keep their road bike in great condition. Reliable, knowledgeable, and thorough—definitely a solid choice.

Bad merchant, 'zero hassle return' is a lie
I've returned my purchase to the Sprockets, they've received it more than two weeks ago and acknowledged the receipt, three emails later they still haven't refunded. I've made a claim with my bank and sent them a letter than I will take legal action. Bad merchant, should be AVOIDed.

I recently purchased the HUDS Full Length Zip Up Warm Up Cycling Tights from Sprockets UK, and after testing them for a few weeks on both road and off-road rides, here’s my honest experience:
*What I like*
Easy on / easy off
The full‑length side zips are genuinely useful. You can slide them off quickly without needing to remove your shoes — a great help during race prep, warm‑ups, or when your legs heat up mid‑ride.
Warm & comfortable
The fleece lining adds real comfort in cooler conditions. On chilly mornings, the tights do a good job of keeping your muscles warm without feeling overly bulky.
Good fit & stretch
The blend of 80% polyamide and 20% elastane provides decent stretch and retention. The elasticated waistband and ankles also help keep things in place. I found the sizing chart reasonably accurate (they list sizes from XXS up to XXL).

Utility across disciplines
These tights are marketed for CX, MTB, and road use — and indeed they adapt well across those. I didn’t feel restricted whether I was commuting, doing a warm‑up lap, or doing light off-road riding.

What could be better / watch out for
Bulk & breathability in warmer weather
Because of the fleece lining, in moderate/warm temps the tights can become a little too warm. I wouldn’t call them ideal for high-intensity rides in mild warmth. They perform best in cooler conditions.
Durability of the zips
The concept of the full-length zips is great, but after repeated use I’d keep an eye on how the zippers hold up. So far they’ve been fine, but zipper quality is always a potential weak point.
Black only option
The product comes in black. For riders who prefer a more visible or lighter color in certain lighting conditions, that might be a limitation.

Fit for longer rides
On very long rides, I noticed slight bunching around knees or ankles, depending on leg motion. For purely long-distance performance, you might want a more race‑cut tight. But for warm-up purposes the trade-off is acceptable.
Overall verdict
The HUDS Full Length Zip Up Warm Up Tights are a smart solution for cyclists who want a warm, functional layer that’s easy to don/doff during preride routines. They shine in colder temps and for transitional use (warm-ups, spin-ups, etc.). If you often ride in cool to mild conditions and value convenience (especially the zip design), these tights are a worthwhile buy. Just temper expectations for hot weather or ultra-endurance use.

Exactly what I ordered at a great price. Arrived with Royal Mail. I will order again here. Probably me not looking but I would love to have had the tracking number to build confidence of arrival date. Took about a week.
Faulty parts were sent
Faulty parts were sent, 2 emails and 3 phone messages and still no reply. Do not use this company.
Faulted item refund issues
Ordered a Tange 7922 bottom bracket. Arrived in good time but unfortunately the bearings seemed defective and a little rough so did not install.
I opened a return case on PayPal, the merchant however called and ask me to close the PayPal case thinking I was dumb enough to lose my buyers protection. I refused and asked him to accept the return via the resolution centre, which went on to ignore.
He did how ever supply a prepaid return label outside of PayPal which voids PayPal buyers protection which he probably knew and send some sarcastic comments in his emails to top it off.
The item was returned but unsurprisingly no refund was forthcoming directly from the seller, this was retrieved after another ball ache of PayPal appeal.
Not the best Return process but refunded.
Only fair to write a review considering usually people write reviews when things go wrong.
Eitherway I bought some cycling clothing and it didn't fit. Couldn't really find much return information online so called them up and they answered straightaway and explained the process. Write a note inside the package and post it back to them at own cost.
I did exactly that but heard nothing for about 2 weeks. Only when I contacted them did they action the refund as they still hadn't got round to sorting out the packages. I believe they should have a better return process as other companies online usually do so within a week but that's a different arguement, sprockets actioned my refund straightaway once they seen evidence of package being delivered at thwir centre and communication was great when I did contact them.
Genuine trustworthy company and would happily use again.

Faulty goods. Warranty is a LIE
They sold me a tyre. It started warping within 2 months. Was in conversation as the tyre was in warranty. They claimed it wasnt covered by warranty due to the psi (despite regular check ups at halfords) i've had the halfords cheapest tyre on for the past 3 months and not a single issue. Looks like it wasnt the psi was it? I was sold faulty goods and they were not helpful and refused a warranty replacement. I'd recommend going anywhere but sprockets for your replacement parts.

Wrong item sent, and not refund received on return
Ordered item online, received the wrong item. They said I could return and sent a prepaid label. Item was returned and haven’t heard anything from them since for several months now.
Edit: Had a call from them yesterday and they apologised for the situation and have now been refunded.
