Visiting the Wilmslow branch. Me and my family from the start were treated with the best customer service. My wife was given a stool to sit with her crutches, we were unsure of what would go well with our units, so we were offered options. Loved the quality of the product and service so much, we went back the next week for another room. Same good service.

Having visited 4 other different stores, we went to The Stone Store in Guildford - They had a great range there and Amy, the consultant who helped us was patient to the last - which is saying something considering we went twice both for a considerable length of time. She guided us through the options, and helped us make the decision (Canterbury Beige - I can't wait to see it laid!). Really personal service and much less in price than Quorn which we'd also been to twice. Amy has also been brilliant in the follow up when we were then looking at grout options and with any off the other follow up questions we've had. We couldn't fault them, they've been great!

From start to finish Stonesuperstore took care of our every need. They sent samples out to us and were patient until we were ready to confirm our order. They handled the order professionally and supported us when we needed to make a changes.

Great service with high quality products.

On each of a number of visits to the store the service has been exceptional. This continued on the visit on Saturday 19 September. Immediate attention from someone clearly knowledgeable, helpful and constructive. Certainly not overbearing but creating an atmosphere in which we placed an order straightaway.

If you're looking for tiles, this is the place to go. If you can get to their showrooms you will be looked after but not pressurised, made to feel welcome (even if your budget is relatively modest) and the quality of the products is fantastic. I've been to other tile places and felt slightly intimidated or even sometimes ignored, but the staff at Guildford store struck the perfect balance between helpful and non-intrusive.

Special thanks to Michelle who was patient (very!) and super helpful on a very busy Saturday afternoon, made loads of helpful suggestions and really took time to understand the look we were after. She promised to email us the links to the tiles we were keen on, so we could make a decision at home, and the email arrived even before we got back.

Terrible service, avoid at all costs!!!!
We ordered tiles to be delivered on Thursday 10th September, was called by the delivery company to say they didn’t have time to deliver that day and it would be Friday morning. Tiles were delivered on the Friday but one was cracked in half. Reported this on Saturday when discovered and was told it would be redelivered on Wednesday 16th September. Got called again today to say cannot be delivered as they didn’t have enough staff and if we needed it today we could collect it. Our only option is to drive 90 minutes to collect the tile and take it to our new house that is being built but they will not refund the delivery cost despite us having to collect it ourselves and the order now being a week late. They do not accept responsibility and state in their T&Cs it states that they cannot control. They offered only a partial refund on delivery which may cover the fuel costs we will incur to collect it ourselves if we’re lucky. If you have a timescale to stick to do not use this company, less then useless!!!!!

Thanks to Andrea for her great customer support getting my tiles delivered quicker than expected. They look great. Just 1 star lost due to them no longer accepting Amex. I lost a day trying to order when the website still showed Amex was accepted. Would use again

I have been reading the reviews, and there are a number of bad ones regarding delivery. I had the same problem, as the third-party courier was appalling, BUT the reason I have given this a 5-star review is that within a minute of calling to chase up the delivery, I could speak to someone on the phone; it was immediately followed up, they knew my name and order, and when the product arrived, it was beautiful. Even my builders, who are used to laying much more expensive flooring, were really impressed. Perhaps Stonesuperstore should change their courier company, but their staff were all really helpful the products were good quality and a good price

I ordered the Burlington Beige tiles, and I am delighted with them. I can't fault the service I received from Amy at the Guildford Stone Store, she couldn't have been more helpful. Everything went very smoothly, I had a couple of minor issues, and they were sorted immediately. I would definitely recommend both the store and the tiles!

Very disappointed with the customer service. It’s been over a month since my stones were delivered, and I’m still waiting for a response about the damage the delivery driver caused to my neighbour’s property.
Poor communication and no clear update on when the damage will be repaired. Unfortunately, even one star feels too generous.

Everything about my experience with Stone store has been brilliant. The samples arrive super quickly, the ordering process was so straightforward, especially with the additional materials recommended for protection and laying. The tiles arrived almost immediately and a small issue was dealt with immediately but their wonderful customer services. MOST IMPORTANTLY the tiles are absolutely stunning and well priced. I’m so so happy with them. In a very long and stressful renovation this has been far the easiest and most enjoyable bit!

Kate (and Millie) were very helpful, giving gentle advice when needed. No pushiness whatsoever; free tile samples readily available, and ideas on design too.
Great prices versus the larger tile stores, and a much
better, more personal experience. Would thoroughly recommend!

Poor customer service, Hannah on the phones extremely rude. Asked to speak to a manager, told they’re on holiday so no one in charge. Tiles have arrived damaged meaning I need to order more. Hannah lacked customer service skills, I had asked for the email address to send a complaint, told it’s the sales box and it’s on the website. If it wasn’t for the fact that I now have an incomplete floor I wouldn’t order from here again.

Terrible. I had to return a wrong order. The delivery was already very expensive. But so be it. However, when you return it you have to pay the return + £48 admin fee!!!! Its an absolut joke and I am not even sure if its legal. I would need to look into the details of this. The worst of all is that the staff in the office couldnt care less. The customer service is non existent. You really know that they dont care. They just take calls and move you on. The only good thing about this whole thing is that the tiles are great. I had to reorder a few more tiles to replace the wrong order and again pay another delivery fee, but I will not recommend this company to anybody. Shame though - a bit better customer service and all would have been fine.

Visited this store, having been to others and from the first minute the staff were attentive, patient and informative. Needed the tiles on the hurry up and they were delivered as promised within 5 days. I Forgot to order grout, this store found a way to get them delivered in 2 days. Exceptional service, super staff, went further than the extra mile. Can't recommend my experience highly enough.

I ordered samples online from the Stone Superstore, which arrived quickly and extremely well packaged through the post.
I knew immediately which Limestone tile I wanted for our Victorian Home renovation. These samples were chosen for our hallway. I wanted something that would be reminiscent of a traditional Victorian flagged floor.
Obviously, tile samples only give you an idea of the colour, texture and quality of the bigger picture.
I rang the Wilmslow Showroom to get advice and the young lady on the phone was very helpful and advised that if we weren’t too far away and wanted a true representation of what our floor would look like in our chosen tile, then head over to the showroom.
Which is what we did on Saturday.
We were greeted by Kazie, who was extremely helpful and friendly without doing the over pushy and in your face sales pitch. Instead, Kazie was very professional and gave us time to talk and discuss our ideas.
We did look at other tile options once in the Showroom but went back to our original choice once we saw them laid out on the floor. The sample was just part of something so much better!!!
We have gone for the Dorset Limestone Tiles - with Tumbled edges, which are mainly grey with flecks of almost iron/ rust flecks and variations in pattering with them being natural.
These are going against a rustic oak floor, so contrast beautifully.
Again, I originally looked at 600 x 400 in size but once in the showroom and saw the 600 x free length, which will give a more authentic feel to work in our home.
We had already measured how many square meters we needed before visiting, which I would advise, because once you see the tiles you like. I’d like us, I wanted them there and then! So we were able to order them there and then. Kazie sorted everything, while we were looking at what else was available, as the showroom is so well designed and laid out.
We also decided to order more, so now have enough to tile the downstairs W/C too! Everything was completed including the delivery. Expect to pay a delivery fee, as these tile are big and heavy and will be delivered on a pallet but £70 for such a large order we were more than happy with.
It was a pleasure to meet Kazie, who emailed us everything over by the time we arrived home. We don’t even have to wait long as our tiles are arriving this Thursday! So excited 🤗

We recently purchased the Martello Beige porcelain for our patio and were extremely happy with the level of customer service we received when dealing with questions and order timings. The porcelain arrived on time and looks incredible! The landscapers were very pleased with the quality of the porcelain too as it was very easy to cut. All round we are very pleased with Stone Store and would highly recommend.

The service I received from this firm was exceptional. I used their online site and received 6 samples to choose from and they promptly answered my questions to help me decide. I went with the Stamford limestone which was even better than I expected when it arrived. The delivery was organised at short notice and arrived on the correct day. I have to say the delivery from Pall-Ex was exceptional as I live on a hill on a single track road with a gravel drive. Several pallet drivers have been difficult but this guy just reversed in, dropped off the load and was away. Absolutely no damage, all 30 tiles were perfect. I tried several stone firms but came back to this firm as it had such a good choice, decent prices, an excellent website and knowledgeable staff. I would not hesitate to use them again.

The tile choices were excellent with this store and we're really pleased with the almond micro cement porcelain tile we chose. It's a beautiful quality tile which was delivered in excellent time and they also helped fulfill an additional order of more in super quick time. Will definitely use these again for future projects

Very disappointed that so many tiles were broken. The tiles were lovely but box after box were cracked all the way through . Once I realised this, I decided to return all of them and was charged for the courier £57

Rebecca was very friendly and helpful on the phone but ultimately I will never buy from here again. It's one thing if I make a mistake and need a courier to collect excess tiles but if expensive tiles are delivered broken then its disappointing that I am made to pay to return the order.

Expecting anyone to check every tile of a 14 square meters delivery, at the moment of delivery, is unrealistic and physically impossible.
