Went into liquidation, no money returned and no sofa delivered. Looking at companies house, the owners of Sweetpea and Willow have already registered another business in Harrogate.
For those who are looking to buy goods that they loved from SPW, Uber interiors sells most of what SPW sold and they are very lovely people.

Applied for a sales role

Applied for a sales role. Ad on seek said call Gary leshay. So I rang. Told him I had 20 years sales experience. Asked him to tell me a bit about his business and what hes looking for. He rudely and abruptly said, "my time is valuable, look on our website and call me back". What a genius! Saturday 4th of April i took time out of my day to call an employer. No wonder no one likes Sydney anymore as you get treated as a number. Maybe in future dont ask for sales applicants to call you. You barely had a website to go to anyway! On top of that I called you on a saturday and took time away from family on a public holiday period to engage with you and you punked me and stood me up. My best sale was a $6 million dollar cladding sale. So I guess your not qualified to hire me not the other way around. Well done. Anyone looking for accommodation check his 1 star reviews out as it says it all!!!! Also, the reason Gary leshay doesn't have Google review options is because hes one of these companies where people would post 200 1 star Google reviews lol 😆 😉 🤣

Sweetpea & Willow what is going on???
My order was over £700 it arrived faulty and they exchanged yet new order was worse… agreed to exchange again..3rd time lucky.. you must be joking delivery drivers sent message they were on their way yet called back that my order was put on wrong lorry and now has disappeared!
All efforts to contact them are hopeless.
And no contact has been made by them to at least explain or apologise.
They promised so much and delivered so little.
Will be contacting credit card for refund!

800 pound owed to me for an order placed 5 months ago and absolutely no
communication from them about going into administration. I’ve been a customer for years, totally disgusting way to treat customers.

It’s a shame this company has gone…

It’s a shame this company has gone bankrupt. They didn’t send my LIANG & EIMIL console table but I have been reassured by AMEX that I will be refunded under Section 75 card rules. I have since ordered it elsewhere and been delighted.

I have tried contacting the company via…

I have tried contacting the company via email and left several messages regarding an order from the 30 January 2026. To date I have not had any response to my emails nor to the messages left. I have ordered from the company before and had no issues. Hopefully I will receive the items that I have ordered but in future I will not be ordering from this company.

I am extremely disappointed in how this…

I am extremely disappointed in how this company has handled its closure.

I have spent over £500 on a seat that has not been delivered, and there has been zero communication from the business. Emails go unanswered, phone calls are not picked up, and there has been no formal notification to customers about what is happening.

The company appears to have been in liquidation for weeks, yet orders were still being taken up until very recently. That is completely unacceptable.

To make matters worse, the owner has deleted her social media profiles and comments have been turned off, which feels like an attempt to avoid accountability rather than address customers’ concerns.

Customers deserve transparency and clear communication, especially when significant sums of money are involved. The way this has been handled is deeply unprofessional and incredibly disappointing.

Looks Luxury Online, Arrives Like Temu

I’m really disappointed with my experience at Sweet Pea & Willow. The products look stunning on the website, but what arrived was nothing like the images — the quality felt more like something from Ali Baba or Temu. My ginger jar even arrived broken.
What made the situation worse was the customer service. Sweet Pea & Willow were reluctant to help at all until I quoted the Consumer Rights Act, and only then did they agree to send a replacement. Since then, I’ve sent countless emails and made multiple calls, yet I’ve had no reply. The service has been shocking from start to finish.
Please be aware — this site looks premium, but the quality and customer care are far from it. I would strongly advise avoiding this company.

They've gone into administration

They've gone into administration. Not delivered my items and I've no hope of getting my money back! Totally uncontactable like others have said. I've tried reaching out to the supplier but they've not paid them, so no way of getting the pieces I've purchased.

Shocking customer service - in fact none at all

I’ve tried to contact this company many times and every channel leads to email. Their phone line cites COVID-19 restrictions- it’s 2026!!! …and then hangs up. I’ve tried Instagram messaging and chat, calling and many emails. Nothing works and they have my money.

Extremely poor communication and no response to return request

I never usually leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience to give an honest picture of the communication issues here. My order arrived quickly - within the same week - but everything after delivery has been extremely disappointing.

I requested a return on 4 February and over a week later, I still haven’t received any acknowledgement or update. I’ve emailed twice and tried calling several times with no success. I’m also seconding another reviewer’s comment that the phone line still plays an outdated COVID‑19 message and there is no way to reach an actual person. It genuinely feels impossible to speak to someone via phone or email.

I’ve purchased and returned an item from Sweetpea & Willow in the past and recall the process being slow, but after this second experience, I unfortunately byt most certainly won’t be recommending them or buying from them again. At this point, I have no idea how to return my item or how to get my refund. Absolutely no one is communicating. It’s far below the level of customer service I would expect.

Please do not purchase from this company. I bought furniture that was never delivered. When I tried to contact them they didn’t answer their phone, reply to voicemail or reply to email. No refund offered. Ghosted.

I purchased a rug and want to return it…

I purchased a rug and want to return it as it. I have emailed twice and completed the online returns form and I have had no response. I emailed a contact there and now receive a bounce-back email. Their live-chat does not work and on facebook you can’t message them and comments are restricted. This is not a transparent company. I will report them to the Consumer Service if I don’t hear from them soon.
