If your charges appear different now, it’s likely due to factors such as wholesale cost changes, regional tariffs, or meter configurations—none of which are controlled by SwiftSwitch and all of which are clearly explained at the outset. We stand by the transparency and accuracy of the quote you received.

I understand that you are a broker and do not give my bills. However you quoted me the price I would be paying and the bill is double what you are paying. I have been in touch with water plus and they tell me the contract is with you and not them. When I contact yourselves by email. You do not respond

Your wholesaler has increased its wholesale water and wastewater charges—something that has happened across the country. These increases are entirely outside the control of both SwiftSwitch and your chosen supplier.
Water wholesalers set the base costs that suppliers are required to pass on. In many regions, wholesale charges have risen by up to 35% this year due to inflationary pressures, infrastructure investment, and increased environmental compliance costs.
These adjustments are applied nationwide, although the specific increase varies by region and wholesaler.
If you’d like a breakdown of the wholesale changes in your area, we’d be happy to assist. However, we can confirm that all contracts arranged by SwiftSwitch are agreed upon transparently, and any change in pricing since that point has been driven by regulatory changes at the wholesale level—not by your supplier or ourselves.

Liam Martin was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Didn't pester us whilst we took time to consider our options and was prompt and knowledgeable in responding to our further questions. It was genuinely a pleasure to speak to someone with some personality and who didn't just read off a script or try too hard to close the deal.
