The checks done before actually seeing the Optician were thorough, and explained every step of the way.
The Optician was charming, the eye test very easy and extremely effective. My new glasses arrived very quickly - 2 days- were fitted correctly and quite honestly I cannot praise them highly enough. Would highly recommend.

It's great to get a free eye test however beware, if your planning to get your Specs online and save yourself a fortune, like most High St Opticians they won't give you your PD measurement.

The eye test might be free but they make up for it with prices that will make your eyes water.

The best idea is to check the High St for the cheapest pair of glasses in order to get your PD and then keep the PD for future reference.

My complaints led to me receiving a lecture over the phone from the Optician Manager who spoke in optical language which translated in English to "Get Lost" you are not getting it.

It is a real pleasure going to the opticians at Tesco Bar Hill. They are always friendly, helpful and accommodating.

Can't really fault them! I used to go to Specsavers, Tesco are much better.

Went with an open mind and was lucky enough to be seen by a very kind lady who listened to my problem and was able to help me with my choice. I am really pleased with my glasses which arrived after only a week. Would recommend this service infact my wife may well return for her glasses

It's convenient to use Tesco Opticians because they're right there when I'm grocery shopping. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The opticians themselves are very nice, I have found they are great with the children too.
The deals on frames are good, and there is an wide selection to choose from, for all budgets.
My glasses didn't take long and I had a text to tell me they were ready. It wouldn't occur to me to use an alternative optician.

I have been going to them for over 6 years now and have always received an excellent all round service. The price of glasses starts with very affordable thru to designer ones and basic glasses take just 2 days to be made ☺

I recently lost my glasses, I went back to my local tesco opticians and asked for a replacement. they arrived within two days arrived did they called and text to let me know theyalwyas had arrived. No problems always

My first time for an eye test. Booked at a competitor who did not book me in properly and it was a wasted journey. (shouldn't have gone to specsavers). I did not re-book instead checking my favourite web site.
Money saving expert's recommendation for value was Tesco so I came over. Whilst all the staff were polite,professional and no customer service issues (I am a retail manager) the optician David was a credit to you. He picked up on my nervousness and reassured me how normal all this is at my age and bothered to explain fully, giving me a clear idea of what was happening in my eyes. I now have two matching pairs of reading glasses and can now read at night again without headaches.

Brilliant service.
I took advantage of a buy one, get one free deal on some Michael Kors spectacles. I was expecting to have to have two pairs of glasses of the same prescription as you do with a 'cheaper' high street bogof. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that I could have one pair with my 'distance' prescription and one pair with my 'reading' prescription.
Very pleased. Ordered on Tuesday - ready for collection on Thursday! Amazing

Had my eye test and got new spectacles from Tesco optician for the first time. I was really impressed with the service. Very polite and helpful. I will definitely be using them in the future.

Easy to make an appointment. Trained staff and qualified optician. Optician was a little late back from break for my appointment, otherwise no problem.

I go to have my eyes tested every year due to medication I take
The girls were ok and done what needed to be done
But the reason for five stars is all about the optician
He was very very good
He explained everything to me,no rush he was very kind to me and we had a great chat
