On 5th April, 2026, I placed an order, which I cancelled minutes later due to a mistake on my side. I asked for a confirmation of the cancellation, but instead of this I received a shipping notice the next day.

Upon arrival of the parcel I noticed that one item was missing. On the delivery note there was a handwritten message, that I should contact the shop. So, I contacted the shop - although they should have been contacting me - and asked for refund. Again: No answer.

Apart from that, the customer should be informed by the system during the shopping process, if items put into the shopping cart are not available.

Although the oils I have received were of very good quality, the behaviour of the company is inacceptable. From my point of view it is risky to place orders at this shop, unless you pay via PayPal or Klarna.

09.05.2026 (Update):
The Aromatherapy Shop has since got in touch with me. We have clarified the matter and resolved it to my satisfaction. I am confident that future orders will be handled more effectively. For this reason, and because the company demonstrated a very customer-focused approach in our email correspondence, I am now awarding them 4 stars now.

All the absolutes and essential oils I've bought from this shop are amazing. It really is a joy making so many wonderful combinations with them. :)
This time I got the Egyptian rose, frangipani, tuberose and jasmine sambac essential oil (all absolutely gorgeous). I can't wait to experiment! :)

These are literally the best flower essential oils I have ever gotten my hands on. I have ordered their lily for years and just got the little sample bottles for loads more as they were 20% off. I mix the lily into my deodorant for a much stronger product, I put it in my laundry to help with odors and I just love the smell so much when I accidentally dumped some onto a carpet I just let it evaporate and let my house smell like lilies for several months!

I recently bought a couple of cream moisturisers with different scents. The texture of the cream is lovely – thick but easily spreadable. It sinks into the skin and leaves it soft but not greasy. The scents (I bought) are lovely – very strong and lasted well.
Will definitely purchase from here again.

These essential oils are the best by far, so far they have been successful in perfume, wax melts and candles, producing a cleaner burn than most.

I ordered the wild yam gel as I’m currently teetering between the perimenopause and the actual menopause so thought I would hep my hormones . It smells lovely , soaks in easily , I use a little every morning . The packaging was beautiful and their customer service is spot on . Recommend!
