Cancelled the order. Then amended once review was posted. Overall positive experience though.
Update - I've changed my 2 star to a 4 star rating. The company got in touch and gave some advice and agreed to send me a few chains to try.
I now have a chain which is great and I was tempted to keep them all!

I placed an order for a few items to try, which is pretty much the norm for online shopping as you can't try items in person.
My card was charged.
An email came through asking if I was planning on keeping everything or just one or two and returning the rest. I told the truth and said I'd keep one or maybe two depending on which I liked.
Order cancelled, refund will take a couple of days.
No attempt to find out what I wanted (help narrow the selection down)...
I would say this is poor customer service.

After some really disappointing white gold chains , I found chain hut and decided on a silver chain for pendant, had to super long and strong, arrived within days, beautiful solid silver chain , im over the moon with it! Highly recommend !

Really disappointing returns process
Really disappointing returns process. Expecting your customers to pay for returns is really disappointing - they said a return should only cost the amount of a 2nd class postage stamp, but in order to return my chain in the original packaging (which I had to do) cost me over £6. Also said there were flexible exchanges, but when I asked for an exchange, I had to independently return the product and purchase another again. This is an entirely new transaction, not an exchange. I will be going elsewhere.

Upon checking your order information and the ticket you have opened on the 7th April 2021. You had indicated to us:
"Unfortunately I made an error with my order and ordered the wrong length! Huge apologies for this, but if I could return the 22 inch chain I will exchange it or return and re-order a 20 inch chain instead, if that is possible?"
Following this we had issued a returns slip and advised you could reorder at your convenience, as was one of your indicated preferences to process this.
Return costs for a change of size are your responsibility as clear here: https://thechainhut.co.uk/delivery-returns
The service you opt for is at your discretion and in your case you had decided to purchase a Special Delivery Service (usually suitable only for high value items). Should you have been misadvised by the Post Office we'd strongly recommend to direct a complaint with the Royal Mail directly.
The cost to return items with a value less than £20 (£12 in your case) should not be more than a 2nd Class large letter service and when purchasing online arrives with a free delivery confirmation barcode. Where you retain proof of post receipt in most cases this is sufficient to cover your item for loss or damage by the Royal Mail. This information is also clear on your return slip.

I am absolutely obsessed with this shop! I was searching for a sterling silver chain for hours and couldn’t find any trustable sites under £50! I haven’t taken this chain off since I got it, I wear it in the shower, in bed, everywhere! No rust and no tarnishing and it was only £12.50! Packaging was so cute and came with a free gift box, I 100% recommend this site and will be my go-to for gifts :)

The chain was delivered in time, excellent packaging. Gift boxes were in perfect condition and chain was very securely wrapped in an adhesive film. The chain was perfectly polished and very high quality. Definitely will be buying from the shop again! 100% reccommended!

Great experience
Bought a chain for my sister for Christmas - but she decided she wanted a longer chain. Contacted chain hut, who replied very quickly. Very simple returns process and refund arranged within a week. I felt comfortable enough with them that I decided to order a replacement before receiving refund and that’s arrived with 2 days of ordering. Great experience. Would definitely recommend! I can honestly say never have I dealt with such an efficient and polite firm.
Ordered a chain which came next day I didn't think it suited me so asked for refund which the return instructions were easy.
All communication was done by emails with quick replies and even the wording was polite.
Ordered another type once again came next day and was more than happy.

Amazing customer service
I had an amazing experience with Chain Hut - the necklace I ordered came in 24 hours! There was a slight issue with the necklace and I emailed their customer services team. The next day I had a reply saying a new necklace had been sent out to me free of charge! The necklace is perfect and I’ve been wearing it everyday since.
