Hard but great!
So, I was encouraged to buy this course by a friend. My brother is a professional photographer so I thought I'd give this a try so at least I might be able to understand some of the techie things he spoke about. Only on module 2 and have learnt so much about photography and my camera - highly recommend this course to anyone who has spent hundreds of £££'s on a camera and hasn't a clue how to tap into the real power it has to offer.

A great value online course to learn more about the details of digital photography and how to properly use a DSLR camera and as a result get a full understanding of how to get better pictures.

Being Part of the Image Academy Family enhances your Photographic Ability.
Mark and Connie Cargill are the "Image Academy" and after my 3 day course with them, in Anstruther, on the East Neuk of Fife (a glorious Scottish location), I really felt that I was part of the academy family.
The fantastic locations, in depth technical and compositional knowledge and their easy, gentle, teaching manner all provide a a great atmosphere for learning new skills and understanding the your own capabilities and those of your camera, lenses, filters.
Daily evaluation, a great introduction to Adobe Lightroom and finally printing your shots make this a course a real stepping stone to achieving better images and being able to print and/or display them on the web.
Mark and Connie have a great range of knowledge about all camera brands and have instructed using them all, including full format. However; there was another bonus for me, Mark and Connie both use Olympus cameras and in a sea of Canon and Nikon courses this "Olympus" course allowed me to speak to teachers who had an in depth knowledge and love of this particular brand.
The lessons learned on the course still ring gently in my ears when I pick up my camera or think about my next shooting location and also bring back great memories of my extended family in Anstruther.
Thank you Mark and Connie, for the new skills, images and the memories. I did not want to leave at the end of the third day and look forward to joining you again in the not too distant future.
