I have been a TradeKey member for over 3 years, but their recent conduct regarding their 'SEO and Website Revamp' package has been borderline fraudulent.

The Issue: I paid for a premium package last year. To date, the SEO plan has never been activated. The website revamp was delivered with unacceptable quality and extreme delays.

The Scam: When I requested support, their technical team took 1-2 weeks to reply to simple queries. Even worse, my assigned Account Manager explicitly admitted he 'had no power' over the technical team to fix the issues. Since admitting this, he has ghosted me and ceased all communication.

The Verdict: They have taken my money and refused to deliver the agreed service or provide a refund. Do not trust this platform with your marketing budget. They will take the payment and disappear.

I am a former employee of both TradeKey and ExportHub. Many people may not be aware that both B2B platforms are operated from the same place and are managed by the same leadership.

Over time, a significant number of employees were either laid off or left the organization due to serious internal issues. Salaries were delayed for several months, and in many cases, employees were terminated without receiving their pending dues. As a result, the company is now critically understaffed.

Currently, there are no dedicated programmers, no designers, and no personnel responsible for server or infrastructure security. Service delivery is being handled by only 6–7 individuals, which is clearly insufficient to support paying members. Due to this lack of operational resources, service quality has been severely compromised, and even paid clients may not receive the services that are promised.

From my professional experience, the leadership—specifically Irfan Iqbal, Shafaat Ayub, and Jameel Qazi—appears to lack a clear long-term strategy for running and growing the company. The focus seems to remain on short-term sales rather than sustainable operations or fulfilling obligations to employees and clients. Hundreds of employee dues remain unpaid, with no transparent plan for settlement.

I believe it is important for potential clients, partners, and job seekers to conduct thorough due diligence before engaging with TradeKey or ExportHub. This post is based entirely on my personal experience working within the organization.

I have been a paid member of TradeKey for over two months, and this has honestly been one of the worst platform decisions I have made in my B2B business.

I did not join willingly at first. TradeKey’s sales representatives kept contacting and pressuring me repeatedly, making strong promises such as:
“It’s impossible not to get orders within two years.”
That statement was the key reason I finally signed up.

After joining, I quickly realized that these promises were largely misleading.

The platform itself is extremely outdated. The store structure is old-fashioned, the user experience is poor, many basic functions are missing, and there are countless bugs that seriously affect daily operations. It feels more like a system from 10–15 years ago than a modern B2B marketplace.

Customer support and technical service are even worse. When problems arise:

Responses are very slow

Responsibility is constantly shifted

Support staff lack real technical competence

Issues are dragged on and often never properly resolved

You eventually realize that they are not capable of solving real problems — they are simply wasting your time.

In short, TradeKey does not rely on platform performance or buyer traffic. Instead, it relies heavily on aggressive sales tactics to convince new members to pay. Once the fee is paid, the reality is completely different from what was promised.

I sincerely warn anyone considering joining TradeKey:
Stay away from this platform.
Whoever joins is very likely to regret it.

They literally scammed me for VIP membership.. they said they wil money back 50% if they can't do 3,00,000 $ but they did 0% in one year.. they take upfront of 5000$ for the service and promising 3,00,000 export business or They pay back 2500$ to us but they didn't payback or worked anything

Before TradeKey, I only deal in few countries. Within a few months, I started getting leads from Europe, Africa, and even South America. It feels like TradeKey gave me a exposure to the new markets.

I had trouble setting up my first few listings because I’m not very good with technology. I contacted TradeKey support, and they not only fixed my mistake but also explained step by step how I should do it next time. It didn’t feel like I was just another ticket in a queue. It felt like someone truly cared about helping me succeed. That kind of support makes a big difference when you’re new to online platforms.

I requested samples from a supplier in China through TradeKey, and the whole process was a lot smoother than I expected. Sophia, my account manager, stayed in touch with me and made sure everything went through without delays. The samples arrived quickly, and after checking the quality, I felt confident to go ahead with the bulk purchase.

Very unprofessional website.. once you upload an ad the scammers will send you alot of messages and your data will sent to scam groups, I have received alot of winning email messages from unknown source. They will tell you you have millions of dollars and will ask you some small charges if you want to get the money.

Tradekey is a classic example of B2B platform over-promising and under-delivering. I am a seller of agricultural products and I was approached by Ahmed, who is trying to sell me membership packages. To be fair to Ahmed, he was polite and patient. He made a big deal of Tradekey will assign staff to contact buyers on my behalf, and the Key Account Manager (KAM) will connect me to buyers etc.

After I signed up, my KAM is this dude Usman. No support whatsover, I never hear from him in weeks. When I msg him, he says he will get back with buyer details, but he never does. And on that member feature about having Tradekey sales staff contacting buyers for me, I seriously doubt it ever existed, because I saw no evidence at all.

In the end, I have to DIY everything. The platform itself is average, there are buyleads but I cannot attest to their authenticity. I have responded to dozens of buyer listings but I never get my responses or even queries. Thankfully, I pushed hard for a 4-month trial membership at the start. I will not be renewing my membership for sure.

We paid Silver package that has zero difference with Free one! The buyers are fake, around 95% of them do not have contact details. My replies to "buyers" went to nowhere! The navigation of website super not comfy, old fashioned. All the time commercial windows jump in front of the face. Looks like they make income mainly from these abnormal quantity of advertiments. After one week of using I requested to cancel the package and to make refund of the payment, excluding 1 week of using. The manager replied politely that he is solving my problem. Days past there was no feedback. Honestly i would be satisfied if they denied to cancel and to make refund, but with correct explanation - Why. But they did not any of that. The Result - no reply! Manager blocked me in Whatsap and I can not enter the website. They blocked my possibility even to enter the platform, not simply may acount! PURE SCAMMERS!!! DESERVE MINUS 5 STARS! DO NOT SUGGEST ANYONE EVER!!!

I was contacted by Farhan Javid(phone: +1 214 889 0500), a verified employee of TradeKey, who messaged me via TradeKey's official WhatsApp business account. We discussed a wholesale offer: 100 digital PlayStation gift card codes for $1100 USD, to be paid via a bank transfer to their Chinese company account:

This wasn’t some random person claiming to represent the company — he was a TradeKey employee, using TradeKey’s official communication channels, email, and WhatsApp.

I transferred the money from my bank on Thursday, May 29th. We agreed I would receive the invoice and codes once the payment cleared.

By Tuesday, 3 business days later, I asked whether the payment had been received — no response.
On Wednesday, I called — no answer. later, Farhan replied saying he had “forwarded the payment confirmation to the finance department.”

Since then: total silence.

No codes.

No invoice.

No updates.

No one is replying — neither Farhan nor the company.

I’ve also filled out 3 contact forms on their website and even reached out on LinkedIn.
Nobody responded.

At this point, I don’t know what happened.
Was I deliberately scammed? Is this how TradeKey handles small “test” clients?
Does a company that’s been in the market for years and claims to generate millions in revenue really steal $1100 from a small first-time buyer?

I’m currently preparing to open a dispute with my bank to recover the funds.
Thankfully I didn’t agree to pay in cryptocurrency, which Farhan also suggested — otherwise, the money would be gone for good.

I will update this review if the issue is ever resolved.
But for now, I strongly advise against doing business with TradeKey, you wont get your product.

I came to own a precision parts machining factory in China and started working with tradekey platform in December 2024. I was very disappointed. Before the cooperation and in the contract promised to give me 20 buyer customers every month, but 5 months passed and did not provide us a single customer. After the contract was signed, did the original matchmaking team “lose contact after signing the order”. Whether the communication attitude of the subsequent docking staff is perfunctory and delayed, and does not fulfill the service commitment. Now we are very passive. Please don't be cheated like me.

I want to share my fraudulent experience with TradeKey, a so-called "B2B sourcing platform" that falsely claims to connect buyers with verified suppliers. Not only did I lose money, but I also wasted months chasing fake suppliers and receiving false promises.

I initially contacted TradeKey’s sourcing team to find a reliable supplier for A4 paper (Reflex and Double A brands). What followed was a well-planned scam, full of deception and delays. If you are considering using TradeKey, STOP NOW! Here’s why:

1. The Scam Started with "Farhan" Who Passed Me to "Eddi Smith"
I initially contacted Farhan (Phone: +1 214 889 0500), who claimed to be a TradeKey representative.
Farhan then passed my details to Eddi Smith (Phone: +1 760 258 0418), who introduced himself as a "sourcing specialist" assigned to my account.
They built trust by claiming that TradeKey only works with verified and premium suppliers.

Fake Supplier Setup – Prepayment Before Order Processing
They told me they had suppliers who could provide Reflex or Double A A4 paper at $1.60 per ream (CIF Sydney Port).
Before I could proceed, they demanded a $2,000 "pre-order reservation" fee, claiming this was required to secure stock.
I was instructed to wire the money to GUANGZHOU TRADEKEY COMMERCIAL CONSULTING CO., LTD in China.
They did not allow credit card payments but pushed for bank transfers or Bitcoin.

2. Fake Payment System – Money Sent to China, Not a Supplier
Instead of using a secure escrow or Trade Assurance, they asked me to send money to a Chinese bank account under the name:
GUANGZHOU TRADEKEY COMMERCIAL CONSULTING CO., LTD
After I sent the funds, they delayed everything—first the supplier details, then the samples, then the order processing.

3. Fake Suppliers & Non-Existent Warehouses
After paying, I demanded to visit the factory to verify authenticity.
They provided a fake website and address:
"Singh Thong Paper Com Ltd" in Thailand.
I sent a contact to verify the address, and the company did not exist.

4. Samples Were Tampered With – Likely From a Fake Manufacturer
After weeks of waiting, I received a sample in a tampered FedEx package with Chinese labels instead of Thai ones.
When I confronted them, they blamed "customs inspection" but provided no proof.
It became clear that they never had access to a real manufacturer and likely sent fake or repackaged products.

5. No Supplier Contact – Just Endless Excuses
I emailed multiple times asking to speak to the supplier directly.
No one answered. TradeKey agents kept saying they would "check and get back to me."
When I pushed harder, they gave another fake contact (goldpapersthailand.com), which also ignored my emails.

7. TradeKey is Not a Real B2B Platform – It’s a Scam Company
After this experience, I investigated TradeKey further and found:

Hundreds of complaints from other victims reporting similar scams.
Fake company listings with stolen or generic product images.
No real way to hold sellers accountable for fraud.
Fake "Gold Members" who are actually scammers.
TradeKey is not a legitimate B2B platform. They enable scammers, take commissions from fraudsters, and do NOTHING to protect buyers.

Warning: If you are a business owner looking for suppliers, DO NOT USE TRADEKEY. It is a scam platform which also has full of fake companies.

I took my time, and I have taken action to report this fraud to the following agencies, and you should too:

TradeKey is a Scam – Avoid at All Costs!

Tradekey is 200% Scam, Sales Person have a target to sell Tradekey services, so he will make all false promises, once you pay, he is out of picture and new bunch of jokers comein, they have no concerns about what was committed to you by their company, and they will just waste your time and energy, and even they wont give services which are mentioned in the contract. These guys will bring fake customers to you, These customers will ask you prices and will always make a excuse saying your price is HIGH, like a 12 USD thing they are buying in 3 USD. Sometimes customers not even respond when they make a whatsapp group.

This so called tradekey21 sh*t is a dope as* website is fake if you want to be scammed then buy staff from there. I asked for a refund as it is stated on their website that they accepts returns but still they have not approved my return request because they know they sent a fake clothes to me.

This platform deceives customers and engages in fraud. After they promised me a guarantee of secure transactions and payments I got a subscription for $500 after they found me and organised the purchase of goods through their marketplace, I transferred the money to the trader by invoice. They promised top quality goods and payment security, I had to confirm upon receipt of the goods that I was satisfied with them. When I received the goods, I immediately saw that the goods did not match and I wrote to the manager who organised the whole transaction that it was a fake and I was not satisfied with it, after which they had to refund me, to which they replied that I had to prove to them that it was a fake and they would not refund me. So far no one has answered my questions and the addresses are fake, the letters are sent back to me.

I would give No Star If possible, they promised refund in Case of Bad Performance,but delivered only FAKE SUPPLIERS of Petroleum products and refused refund!!! Carefully - Hands Off !! Cheaters and Con Artists!! Be ware!!

I had purchased a membership fee somewhere 2022-2023 so i can connect to "legit buyers" of my product. i had contacted buyers which contact details were seen and called them directly to negotiate. Surprisingly , these "buyers" doesnt even know what im talking about, and even said that they dont know tradekey and is not involved in any trading platforms. I had raised the issue to the management bcoz i a truly unsatisfied of the services as they have fake buyers, but unfortunately until now 2024 still no update and nothing happened to my complain. They even still offering me to subcribe again without first settling my issues before. I hope i got to see reviews first before making any purchase.

This platform is an absolute scams. When you are unable to fulfil an order, the platform will not allow you to cancel an order from a customer. As a result, your merchant credit score will dropped below 80 and hence you are unable to withdraw the supposed amount you had earned after topping up money.

I ignored the warnings from this site, family and friends, and I was caught in this never-ending cycles of topping up and not being able to withdraw. However, before I went in too deep like some of the users here, I stopped. The customer service personnel is very rude. After I removed an item from shelves, the supposed "buyer" are still able to purchase that product. When enquired, the customer service said that the system detects the "buyer" had purchased before you removed the product from the shelves. However, if you tried other products that still have pending orders, the seller is unable to remove it from shelves. So how am I able to remove the product from shelves if the "buyer" had make an order? This is BS!!!

So like every other 1-star reviewers, I urge all to stay clear of this platform. Many had become bankrupt because of this platform. I am one lucky person who have not as I decided to stop everything while I still can.
