I booked a short break to Budapest from Wowcher through Travel Crew. They didn’t have my dates available so I paid extra to go the Albania instead. I was told I would receive my flight ticket and hotel confirmation 2 weeks later.

2 weeks later came and I received nothing so I called. I was then told I will get the booking 2 weeks before the trip. I called 2 weeks before the trip as I still didn’t receive anything.

I called again today to understand what is happening as I have not received anything 10 days before the trip. I was told the flight was cancelled but I went to the Ryanair website and the same flight was available. They offered another trip but I refused.

If I did not call multiple times would they not have said anything about the flight? I now believe this is a scam and have raised with Wowcher to remove them.

If I do not receive my refund I will call my bank.

Thanks Travel Crew, my birthday has been ruined.

Steven arranged my holiday and was absolutely brilliant! Professions but friendly at all times. He was also very patient with me as I was struggling with dates and fitting something in that would suit my travel plans . He was 10/10. Thank you 🙏

Absolutely awful experience with Travel Crew. I booked four holiday vouchers through Wowcher, worth over £2,000 in total. I cancelled the booking and have proof of my cancellation email.
Despite this, Travel Crew still redeemed all four vouchers. When I contacted them, they were rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful, refusing to issue any refund even though I cancelled within their own policy.
Their customer service team showed no interest in resolving the issue and kept passing the blame between themselves and Wowcher. It’s clear they just want to take your money and avoid responsibility.
I’ve now had to open a Section 75 claim with my bank to try and get my money back, as this whole setup feels like a complete con.
Avoid Travel Crew and Wowcher holidays at all costs – once they have your money, you won’t get it back, and they’ll treat you with zero respect.

Easy experience

Really disappointed, I brought a voucher on Wowcher this ended up double the amount, different hotel advertised and wouldn't give a refund , only a credit to use with the same company.I brought the voucher on the 1st Nov 2025 and booked the trip with travel crew on the same day,it’s now the 10th Nov, still no travel documents. I have rang travel crew everyday as we travel in three days because I would like to book luggage, Every single day they promise the travel documents will be in my email by the end of the day. We have still no got our documents.This trip has been ruined with unnecessary stress, really disappointed (.10th Nov at 4pm )Today Peter has informed three days before travel , the flights are cancelled.Due to being left so late, any other trip is limited, I had to pay more as no refund allowed.My travel documents promised to be sent while on the phone,then two hours then by 7 pm now tomorrow . We travel in 2 days , stressed to the maximum. Will update if we get the documents.

I used Floyd Pearson for my flight for next year he was very patient and friendly and got me a great price will definitely use him again

1. They'll lure you in on Wowcher, get you to buy the vouchers, redeem the vouchers which then makes it unrefundable
2.Then the scamming begins-extra charge for everything else
3. You'll never be offred the original deal you paid for on Wowcher. NEVER!
4.Avoid this company like a plague

The person I dealt with Stephen was very patient and calm when talking through the process. My only disappointment which is not down to Stephen was the initial flights were very poor until I paid more moneyto get better options. I really wanted to stay in the Botel as it is quirky and the reason I chose the particular voucher but it was not available on the upgraded version and the IBIS was the only one offered. Stephen was however really good.

Avoid like the plague. What you see on Wowcher is not what you end up being charged. When redeeming the deal, you’re hit with several extra fees that were never disclosed in the original advertisement.

To make matters worse, the travel company even spelt my wife’s name incorrectly on the flight booking. I’ve never experienced anything like this before, and it shows what happens when you use a mediocre travel company to make bookings on your behalf.

It’s far easier and safer to book your own travel directly — at least then you have full control.

All in all, I will never use Wowcher or this travel company again. It’s possibly the worst service I have ever experienced, and I will be reporting them to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
