AVOID DO NOT BOOK OR USE THROUGH WOWCHER

We were told the original hotel advertised was unavailable but were told which hotel and flights were available and although disappointed we agreed.

2 days later we were told this also wasn’t available unless we pay another extra extra £200. They haven’t offered anything similar or suitable unless paying more. We are due to go in two weeks and they refuse refund or help and wowcher are useless

They keep telling us they’ll call back but haven’t but have our money with no booking

Absolute shambles of a company.

I purchased a Wowcher deal through Travel Crew but my experience has been extremely disappointing. The deal they tried to sell me over the phone was completely different from what was advertised. They attempted to add extra charges, failed to provide clear details or bookings, and caused a lot of confusion and inconvenience.

When I raised these issues, the staff were unhelpful and frankly rude. Despite explaining that I never booked anything with them due to the misleading information, they have still not processed my refund.

This service was not as described and does not meet the criteria set out by Wowcher. I would strongly advise others to be cautious before handing over any money.

Do not use the service of these people ever. They are breaking the law by disrespecting consumer rights.

Airwaay (Trading as Travelcrew)

Traumatic experience spanning from 2 Mar – 31 July 2025
Missed opportunity to fly Business Class due to their Fraudulent & Dishonest Behaviour.
Series of Events – short version
• Online Booking (Airwaay) via Cheapflights search Engine
• Booking Status - email received regarding online booking ‘currently under review’ by Agent. No E-Ticket received at this point which is unusual I thought
• Phone Call - Following day received missed call from Airwaay regarding flights booked
• Contacted Airwaay (after several attempts) Ralph confirmed no issue with my booking, no additional fee (probably one of the fortunate ones) He sent invoice. Will receive E-ticket one month prior to departure date
• Invoice received with flight details, cost and flight reference number etc to access flight on-line. This is where the fun begins
• Missing Flights – A month into my flight It just so happened I checked on-ine to see if my E-ticket had been uploaded only to find my flights missing on the BA website. Booking was live on BA website up until 30 June 2025 by 1 July flights no longer accessible/existed.
• Contacted Airline told me to go back to Booking Agent as information doesn’t coincide with details on their system.
• Contacted Ralph (his response) The booking will be taken back into our control 30 days prior to keep a track of the reservation for any schedule changes etc no need for concern. Will contact the supplier (turnaround 24 hrs) by 9.30 am 15 July 2025 where I will share the links etc so that I can have access to my flights. There is no need for concern. Reiterated my concerns – NEVER HAPPENED
• Alternative Flights offered – refused as not acceptable compensation and given my experience I couldn’t be assured that I would receive the tickets given my experience so far
• Alternative Flights Booked – luckily the flights I required were still available for my holiday.
• Request for Refund – tried to charge £180.00 for their error. Quoted their Terms & Conditions back to Ralph. All of a sudden, I can now have a full refund without penalties (it would take 8 weeks to process). Progress on refund never happened on their part. No contact since 31 Jul 2025
• Contacted Credit Card Company – raised a dispute, they got my money back. I could only make the claim after I hadn’t received my E-Ticket for my flights. Once I presented my evidence the turnaround was very quick.
Cheapest IS NOT always best - All negative comments made via other customers experiences are ABSOLUTELY correct. One thing is for sure I will never go for the cheapest option online ever again, I will book direct with the Airline.

Steven was very helpful and patient in helping me book my multicity Europe trip. He provided many options to help me choose the best holiday package, I did not feel pressured or rush to make a decision and I appreciated him following up with me. I would definitely use travel crew again to book my next vacation
