Stay away from these people they are overpriced and incompetent. Go to the official government site. They are cheaper and know what they are doing.

There have been formal reviews of these type of services. All have suggested AVOID. These reviews are difficult to access as the reviews were in 2011. I did not see these reviews. For a certificate I paid three times the amount that I would have paid if I had gone to my local council registrar. What I eventually received was a worthless piece of paper as it carried no official stamp and signature. In addition, the advertisement appeared to be stating that you can obtain the document in 24 hours. This is not the case. What they mean is that they open your email in 24 hours. AVOID AVOID THESE COMPANIES THEY ARE MAKING EASY MONEY AT YOUR EXPENSE

!!!AVOID!!! This is a 3rd party company masquerading as an official government archive site, which they are not, charging 3 times as much to do something you can easily do yourself, and within a much longer time frame than it takes officially. (I later did it officially and it was very simple and prompt).

I initially fell for it because they gave the appearance of an official government site, however they are a private company and nothing to do with the government.

I quickly realised and as soon as I had, I emailed and requested a refund and was told I would receive it within 5-10 business days. 2 weeks passed and no refund. Yesterday I emailed them to inform them and they are now trying to claim they refunded me 2 weeks ago which is just a blatant lie. I have written again but by the crooked behaviour so far I'm assuming I will have to take further action. I will be reporting them to Trading Standards,

Simon dealt with the request for my divorce documents and dealt with this straight away and i had the requested paperwork within one week - excellent service and worth peace of mind if you're in a hurry to get the information like i was. He was also available to speak to on the telephone which is an added bonus - so easy and would recommend this service.

Initial phone call very helpful, further phone calls during process and prompt delivery of apostille document to another country. Used express service - not cheap but very efficient.

We were searching for our GGF's birth certificate not knowing for certain who his parents were. The Records office were very patient and tried a number of possibilities before, Bingo!! We now know for certain.

Spoke to a lovely lady this morning. She was very help and only took five minutes.

My original documents were lost in the post to the registrars. I obtained copy documents relatively easy but needed a copy of my decree absolute. The Government process left you in the dark with contact numbers or acknowledgement of receiving my request. I came to UK records online and it was a game changer. With only weeks to my wedding I feared I would have to cancel but UK Records actioned my request promptly and understood the urgency. I received the document within a few days. The customer service and response to emails was great with very helpful staff.

I have been doing the family history thing and ran into a brick wall, and certificate not received ( my mistake it turns out). I had asked about this before and not received a response but spoke to Gemma on a Sat morning twice who was kindness itself, and helped me pay for a further copy over the phone.
It would be lovely if these sorts of things could be by email, but given that it was my mistake it was rare and wonderful to speak to a human being on Saturday morning to help move matters forward.

Saved our butts! Getting wed in Slovakia (living in UK) problem with documents at the last minute and thanks to this company they were able to send and apostille my birth certificate to Slovakia within a week. Many thanks guys! I might add, that I did pay for the fastest delivery. Appreciate it guys

Abyssmal service - they don't respond to email on time and a service that was promised to be done in two weeks took two months without any communication or explanation.

Amazing service. Really needed my decree absolute and UK Official Records managed to prioritise and find the document within the agreed time frame. Truly thank God for companies like this. The whole team were engaging, responsive and extremely professional. Highly recommend using them. If you truly require the document you seek then paying the money is well worth it. My apostilled birth certificate was sent within the 20 days that was stated. It's a great service if you live outside if the UK.

I needed a copy of my UK birth certificate with an apostille stamp. As I live abroad, this would have involved me applying for the certificate, receiving it from the UK, sending it back to the UK for the apostille and waiting for it to be returned again. By using UK official records all this was done for me and in a timely fashion. Yes, you are paying a premium for something you can do yourself, but if you are in a situation such as mine it is definitely worth it.
