Nick, was a great guy to hire a car from he kept me in the loop about the free upgrade on cars due to an unforeseen circumstance that was out of Nicks control.

The car was clean when I picked it up. Had a slow puncher on one tyre that didn’t effect me too much but was given a slight discount for the inconvenience, would definitely hire a again from the Kettering VW branch and would do so because of the customer service received from Nick and the wide selection of vehicles available.

Hired a Tiguan for the week for a holiday in the Lakes from VWFS at Kettering.
Unfortunately Nick the very helpful advisor id been speaking with prior to collection wasn’t there when I collected the car.
I was disappointed in the presentation of the car when shown to it. It hadn’t been cleaned inside or out and had clearly just been sent back out from the last renters. Inside was grubby and needed hoovering so before i picked up my parents i went home and cleaned the inside myself.
This was not what i expected from Volkswagen.
When i returned the car today i dealt with Nick who said it should have been valeted before i collected and would raise the issue.
Other than that the Tiguan was the right car for my needs on this break for room and comfort for my elderly parents.

Really positive experience hiring a vehicle at short notice. Nick was particularly helpful when I needed to change the rental period, and also when I returned the car earlier than planned. Will definitely be using VWFS Rent a Car in Kettering again, especially as they have very competitive rates.

Excellent service from Nick and the one year old Golf was perfect for my needs.

We booked our pick up time for 8.30am, specifically because we had a long journey and had a check in time at our hotel. We were kept waiting for twenty minutes, whilst the advisor dealt with a walk-in customer - what was the point of us booking the pick up time? When it was finally our time we did not receive an apology, there was no acknowledgment we were kept waiting.

Having worked in financial services previously, I am aware of the importance of the ID checks. Whilst I was trying to find my online bank statement on my phone, the advisor said 'well if you can get into someone else's online banking you deserve a car!' which makes me question how seriously the service at this branch takes security.

The website clearly states the model comes with a Sat Nav - it did not.

I returned the car with what I was thought was near enough the same amount of fuel, turns out it was short which is fine, but instead of informing me on the day (if they had I would have gone over the road to rectify the situation straight away and put the extra £10 in) they instead told me everything was fine, the £500 deposit would be put back into my account, only to find out a few days later they had deducted £25.

You might save some money going through VWFS Rent A Car, but be prepared for disappointing service and check that what you are getting is what you expect!

Good selection of (manual) cars at competitive rates

After multiple phonecalls to ensure the vehicle had a navigation system, I arrived to find the NAV in the vehicle was not functioning. We could also not get our mobile device to connect to the vehicle.
They "arranged" for us to get a nav system from their Northampton branch, (but we had to drive there and go and collect it). Threw their hands up and said there was nothing else they could do to help.

The car went ok, but the rear right tyre appeared to have a slow leak as we had to top up the air twice while away. There was also papers and empty bottles lying in the car (it obviously hadn't been cleaned).

Not very impressed with this agency.

Needed a car quickly while mine went in for major work. Chose VWFS from local Google search and was glad I did. They found me a nice VW T-Cross immediately and the member of staff (Nick I think?) couldn’t have been more polite and helpful. Handover was quick and easy, as was return of the vehicle. Would definitely use again and recommend to others.

Rented a T-Roc Auto for work meetings in Bolton Lancs. Great little motorcar.

Although clean inside and out a previous customer smoked in it … such a shame and the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars

Really nice experience. Needed a 7 seater for a family visit, this was a brand new Touran. Can't complain about. Drove beautifully.
1 week and no issues whatsoever.
Easy check in and check out. Car was checked with photos too.
The man at Kettering was really helpful and polite.
Tempted to exchange my own car. For a VW now haha

From start to finish the professionalism shown by Nick was superb. He went out of his way to explain everything, and guided me around the rental van thoroughly, even explaining the location of the filler cap. My van had only covered 285 miles so I was sure I was receiving an absolutely quality and reliable vehicle.

Second time I have rented a car from the Parkway Kettering branch, they make the process so simple & have very competitive rates. Couldn't fault them from start to finish, i will use again & wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

First class service, very reasonable pricing, easy and safe handover. Definitely be using again and recommending
