Cancel trains at a moments notice with no further later services between Hereford and Birmingham abs blame lack of staff, maybe run your company better. Customer service non existent but you see then posting songs on Twitter. Funny they can get the staff for nonsense like that.

Great Malvern to Birmingham train cancelled again. Office at the train station closed. No toilets access. People coming down from the hill expecting to get home using eco transport means.....can they ? No, of course, thanks to WMR.Every summer the same mess . Cancellations.
Dear railways, can you understand something like weekend plans?

Absolutely ludicrous "service". I have tried to book train tickets fairly regularly for the past year from Worcestershire to Hertfordshire and 9 times out of 10, the trains are cancelled at the last minute or painfully delayed. Sometimes I can't even get a refund on my ticket so they're literally just stealing my money at this point. I honestly think it would cost me less money to buy a house in a county with a more reliable train service than to ever bother with West Midlands Railway ever again.

92% of all reviews 1 star. It would be even worse if no stars was an option. Management should be embarrassed by this. Another poor service experience this morning with trains cancelled due to lack of staff.

Excellent start of school holidays and nobody at west mids trains thought ooh let’s make sure there is enough crew to run the trains! No let’s just cancel shed loads both directions and charge £9.10 return to be crammed on a train you have waited 40 mins for much better …

Is it so expensive to install screens onboard to communicate the route and next station?!! There’s an announcement every second! It’s not an obsolete concept that people like to read while travelling, but it becomes one with the constant silly announcements. Install screens and allow us some peace, ffs! Stfu!

I really needn’t say anymore 3rd or fourth review now. Nothing changes , constant cancellations of services , packed trains . no refunds. Obscene charges to claim refund back. Old stock dirty trains .

Have to rely on this rail network to get to work and travel into city centre and constantly held to ransom.

Hopefully as labour stated about nationalisation of rail in the uk in their manifesto it happens soon. Please for the love of god …. Stop this company running and give the contract to someone else in the interim.

They strike for more pay ,put the prices up and the trains are never on time !

Do they really think people would spend £88 for a return journey from Rugby to London??? The train is a dive, it’s not clean and I don’t understand where they get these prices from. I’d rather drive there or take 5 days to walk to London than paying £88 a finished company like west midlands trains

Hogging of seats by passengers with feet and luggage. No enforcement by Senior Conductor to allow standing passengers to sit.

Got on the train, while on the train they decided all of a sudden not to stop at my station. Train was on schedule, no explanation provided.
I'm trying to claim compensation but that's another nightmare.
What a crap company.

Complete and utter rubbish, dirty and an haven for county lines drug runners!

If I could give this train company 0 stars I would. Train was delayed and delayed and delayed, then cancelled with no communication from the site or staff. Applying for a refund through delay repay was a nightmare. So slow, and only got £2 repayment after paying £11.30 for a ticket!! Even though it was cancelled! Absolutely disgusting company, if I could pick any other train company to go to uni each day I would. Unfortunately this is the only service to Hereford from where I live, and god do I hate it. A money grabbing awful service. If you have any choice at all, do NOT pick this company!!

Delayed and cancelled trains at short notice. No updates or ability to accurately convey expected delay time and it supposedly takes 10 working days to “evaluate” a delay claim - will avoid taking WMR again, this was a terrible experience.

Rubbish, you never know if you'll make it on time, they always seem to have a reason for a delay or cancellation, I practically never am on time anywhere because there's been a delay.

Cancel trains without warning or reason given while you are stood at the door waiting for them to be opened - then claim they can't find any delay if you try claiming under their delay scheme. They are the only provider to my station so we get the full joys of their repeated incompetence.

Pathetic. I go out of my way to avoid using this rubbish service. Expensive and unreliable.

Trains continually cancelled from my local station to Birmingham…roughly 1 in 4 trains. Those that do run are late. A joke of a train provider (I use that term loosely). Nationalised rail services cannot come soon enough.

Utter disgrace of a company. If I could leave negative stars I would. Been waiting months on a refund which I’ve been assured multiple times has been processed. I will never travel on this Trainline again
