Missing items, no refund or responses via email - avoid
Ordered bottles and samples online. A week went by with no updates so sent an email as the order included a gift I wanted to ensure would arrive in time. No response, but the day after I got an automated shipping notification - ok fine.
Shipment came, but the two samples I ordered were missing. Also it ultimately did not arrive in time for the intended gift. Annoying but ok, mistakes happen.
So emailed again to mention the missing items and enquire about a return. Once again no response or acknowledgement of my email whatsoever, leaving me out of pocket for the samples I never received.
Things going wrong is one thing, I would not have left a negative review just because of that. But not acknowledging or responding to emails is not acceptable. Will not buy from here again.

We are sorry that you are not happy with your experience with us. We take people's satisfaction very seriously at our place.
Prior to dispatch we sent an email to you and confirmed a refund back to your card for the samples that were out of stock and the refund was processed on the same day as your order. Since the Glentauchers and Glenlivet 16 were not available they were returned to the same payment method. I also tried to call you on December 3rd to try to inform you once at 11.01am and the second call 30 minutes later.
Should you come to Aberdeen, hopefully a couple of drams on the house at the bar can make up for the inconvenience of not having been sent two of the samples you ordered.

Hi James,
I am sorry that we had to cancel your order. As explained we had run out of the 12YO GlenAllachie due to our low pricing of it and our bar also takes some of the stock from our inventory.
To make up for it we sent a refund plus two complimentary 12YO 50ml miniatures to you.
Due to the Christmas period it was not possible to obtain more prior to Christmas day.
We will control our stock from both locations in a tighter manner and learn from this so that we avoid having to cancel orders and let our customers down.
We hope you will consider coming back to us for something else in the future.

Lost my order for a whisky they advertised, that wasn't in stock
I was searching the internet for a particular brand of whisky I'd recently purchased and enjoyed. This company advertised that they had a bottle in stock so I placed an order & paid for it. I received back an email confirming my order & that I would be informed when it was posted out to me. I received nothing & emailed 2 weeks later & got a telephone apology informing me they didn't have the whisky in stock & my order had been invoiced. I was offered a sample of a similar brand that cost the same.

We are really sorry as this was one of the orders affected by a platform changeover. I’m not sure if this review is unfinished as the story continues with a free sample being sent out of a different signatory vintage 100 Proof Tormore and then upon your approval and liking of it we offered a refund or alternative. We then spoke on the phone and you accepted the alternative. Due to the mailing cost of the sample this made us a loss of £5 overall however it is more important to make good with people and your satisfaction is more important to us than that aspect. We hope to serve you again albeit without issues affecting our order system.

I can’t fault the service I received from this company .Carlos was so helpful and extremely knowledgeable on all products , was so passionate and enthusiastic to share this .I did have to return a product I’d ordered and was quickly refunded for the item .
