Can only speak as I find.
This is the second time I’ve used Woodsheets and both times I have received excellent service.
The MDF panelling strips were exactly what I ordered, packed securely and delivered within the specified period.
Communication was very good - Natasha advised me when my order was being despatched, which allowed me to make arrangements for receipt.
From my experience I would recommend Woodsheets for your panelling requirements.

Wood sheets were a brilliant company to deal with. Lot's of choice at a good price. My order arrived bang on time exactly as described. I would definitely be happy to use woodsheets again.

They were very happy to take my money, but the moment I received broken goods, they suddenly became impossible to contact. Phone calls? Ignored. Messages? Ignored. Attempts to get help? Completely ignored.

Apparently, customer service ends the moment they have your money.

I have been left with broken goods, money out of pocket, and absolutely no response whatsoever. It is genuinely shocking how a company can treat paying customers with such complete disregard.

The most impressive thing about this company is their ability to disappear when there is a problem. If ignoring customers were a business model, they would be doing an outstanding job.

I did not expect perfection — I simply expected to receive goods that weren't broken and for the company to have the basic decency to respond when something went wrong.

Save yourself the stress, frustration, and wasted money. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Ordered a bespoke shelf at the beginning of July.... Still waiting.

I placed a second order after the first went really well. The ordering process was easy, the tracking was great, and the parts arrived cut cleanly to exact size and well packaged. The second order: Perfect delivery tracking - the app gives you a 2h time slot which really helps. One of the pieces was a shade under width (~1mm) but worked fine for my project. Overall I was extremely pleased. A good point for me was that I could select the width I needed (other sites had a 50mm minimum).

My advice is to steer clear of this company and that I wish I had read the reviews before hand!

The order is now a week late based on the latest time it would be delivered. I also have someone who was specifically booked for putting up these shelves this week.

I finally managed to get through to someone at Woodsheets a few days after calling a number of times throughout the day and was told an 'urgent' note was added and that it would arrive in a couple of days. A few days later and still not a word. I have tried calling and emailing again and contacting 'Chris'. Finally got a very poor reply via Whatsapp to say it will be a few more days before they can send it out.

Extremely disappointed and wondering if we will even receive them. Complete waste of time chasing this up and money spent on someone working on putting up our non-existent shelves!

Plywood cut exactly to size and very well packaged for delivery.

Ordered a sheet of 15mm Birch plywood. Very good plywood which arrived in good time and great value

I ordered a piece of custom cut plywood for a project. It was due to arrive on Thursday, but when it didn’t arrive and I saw these reviews, I was a bit nervous.

I messaged the number in the comments on here on the Friday, and my wood arrived via Royal Mail on the following Monday (so 2/3 post days later).

Can’t fault the wood - it was neatly cut and exactly the right size.

Very grateful that it arrived so quickly after I raised my concerns.

The person I spoke to was also very polite when I messaged with them.

I found Woodsheets to be very reasonably priced when looking for a bespoke sized shelf. It was easy to order online but then when a query arose it was also easy to speak to a person who assisted me quickly and efficiently. The cost of postage seemed a little expensive but the shelf was an awkward length and it arrived unscathed. My dealings with Woodsheets and the excellent quality of the shelf I received leave me with no qualms about recommending them!

I wish I had come here to see the reviews before buying from this company.

I only ordered three sheets of wood, however after hearing nothing for over a week I had to chase on email no less than three or four times and phoning twice. Promises to return phone calls were not kept and when I eventually did get some movement and the order delivered two out of three pieces of were damaged. I tried to hide most of them within the design was using the wood for, but some were not so easy to hide. There are plenty of other businesses offering wood cut the size take this advice and shop elsewhere.

Avoid this place! Received some shelves and they weren’t in awful condition I emailed took them 3 days to log the ticket and took 5 days before I even got a message back. Said they would re send them and they haven’t it’s been 10 days I emailed 6 days after they said they would send them they emailed back telling me they escalated it to the company now it’s another 5 days ago no tracking information emailed them 2 days ago asking for a refund and nothing back!!! Avoid this place they’ve basically Stole my money!

Also they only respond on here to you if you don’t leave any contact info or order. No. I’ve left these in the review and had. I contact I’ve emailed every 2 days this week and being ignored!! I’ve no used the number provided on other reviews to try and get my refund.

I paid extra for express delivery but the three shelves took two weeks to arrive. One of them was damaged. Woodsheets agreed to refund the delivery charge, and replace the damaged shelf. They did neither, despite numerous emails chasing them. Only when I complained to American Express did they respond, blaming a glitch in their system. Awful service all round. Avoid, avoid, avoid!!!!!

I ordered a set of melamine covered mdf shelves and Woodsheets delivered exactly what I wanted. The quality is excellent and the packaging exemplary. There was a few days delay due to a machine fault but they informed me about it. The ordering web-site is also easy to use. I'm very happy with the product and service I received.

Avoid – extremely poor service
If you absolutely must order from this company, I strongly recommend paying by American Express or another credit card so you have some protection if things go wrong. Also read the other Trustpilot reviews carefully before ordering.
I paid extra for Express Delivery, but my order was not delivered within the stated timeframe. The company later admitted that its machine was broken and that it could not give me a definite delivery date. I immediately requested cancellation, yet it refused to refund me and then attempted to describe my order as an Economy order—even though my written order confirmation clearly states Express Delivery.
Communication has been slow, the handling of my complaint has been awful, and I have now had to dispute the charge through American Express. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.

Order 14000128750 not delivered in time, after 3 weeks still waiting and they don't want to cancel the order.

I paid £190 for two sheets of wood, one of which should have had rounded corners. Instead, when I opened the packaging, both sheets had frayed ends, giving the impression of poor finishing, and the 25 mm sheet didn't have the rounded corners I'd paid for.

At this price point, basic attention to detail shouldn't be optional. The finish simply wasn't what I'd expect from a company marketing premium cut sheets.

Very disappointing, especially given the cost. I expected quality and received something that felt rushed instead. I won't be buying from them again and neither should you.

I ordered shelving that was due to be ready for collection, but when problems arose the communication was poor from start to finish.

I spoke to customer services on the morning the order was due to be ready. I was told the issue would be investigated and that I would receive an email update. No update ever arrived. When I called back later that afternoon, the representative appeared to have no knowledge of my earlier call, suggesting that no investigation had taken place at all.

To make matters worse, I was then told over the phone that my refund would be approved and processed. However, the follow-up email stated that the refund merely had to be "investigated" by the accounts team and could even be declined, with a decision taking up to 14 working days. This was completely different to what I had been told and left me with very little confidence in the company's internal communication or customer service.

Customers should not have to chase for updates, repeat themselves, or receive conflicting information about something as straightforward as a refund.

Based on my experience, I would not use this company again.
