They raised the maintenance fee. No notice provided! Sent me to collection for $13. Collection folks answer the phone. Worldmaek has my phone number, mailing and email address! STAY AWAY!!!!

Called not because of the raised dues, but because of an issue of not letting us book. No pick up, no number in line, no call back. I hate this company. Luckily/not luckily it is my parents who sunk money here and not me. But you don't know how many times I had to stop them from sinking $$$$$ more into this stupid company (multiple times).

Anyone who can be on their sales team have sold their lives to the devil because its lie after lie, after lie. Don't fall for the short term gratification of a vacation in Europe - when you're locked in for life.

This is the WORST company and worst thing you will ever do in your life if you sign up for this. We got talked into signing up and it was the biggest mistake of my life. They lie, they tell you what you want to hear, and then when you are stuck with it there is nothing but fee and extra charges if you are lucky enough to even get a reservation. Some of the main places we vacation are never available. They are always full. You pay for "resort fees and dues" and some of the resorts are dirty and old. You are better off paying for hotels or an Airbnb. if you have not signed up with them do not do it. I have called numerous times and tried to get help and they will not do anything. It's a trap. You will be stuck with this until you die. I have wasted so much money on this it's sinful.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This company is THE worst company to deal with. Don't buy anything from them; everything is a scam, and no one helps you with anything after the contract is signed. They are raising their dues twice within two months. We are trying to get someone to address this; of course, no one picks up the phone, and no one is helping! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! Your life is better off without them.

So, does anyone know how to get rid of this timeshare?
If so, please let the rest of us know. I will gladly remove it from my life. All I have been doing is paying the dues and now they want to raise it. Their as crooked as our politicians in our government. They don't answer the phone to assist with their stupid website. I wouldn't even rate a one star, zero is more like it..

I would agree with most folks on consumer affairs regarding Worldmark..less than one star! Words of warning… don’t buy this timeshare! It will be attached to your estate when you die and they will eat up as much money (you meant to leave to children or spouse) as poss if they are not named as beneficiaries and the family members handling your estate will be responsible for paying these debts as debts accrued by you. It’s a scam! My mom has had this timeshare for years and it is paid off and even though we can prove that we would be the rightful heirs to change things on the account and have a death cert they like to waste your time & more money making them go to court to get a doc saying the beneficiary is the executor. Ps every place I’ve visited my mom at over the years has had things broken on the property and in the room … maintenance fees???? For what!? It’s literally the number one reason I didn’t sign up for their bs myself! I went to a seminar and told them that I know my mom pays maintenance fees so I feel that there’s no reason for them to place their customers into rooms that have things dirty or broken! Timeshares are like forcing your loved ones to pay for a crappy gym membership forever! Beware!!!!!! They have mostly a one star rating everywhere for a reason!

We are dipping our toes in the water and so far it's very difficult to navigate through our initial venture. We have our booking confirmation for an Anaheim resort but it's hard to access the features/inclusions online. Looks like that's about par for the course. I'll be sure to update this review after our experience.

Stop trying to high pressure sales pitch me when I go on vacations!!! I used to go to the meetings and hear you’re stupid dales pitch. Then the sales people started yelling at me when I didn’t buy in more. Then they punished my husband and I for not buying in more by not getting some of the services but they CONTINUE to high pressure sales pitch me every time I go on vacation. Hint: no means no. The harder you pitch for me to spend my vacation in your stupid meeting, does not increase my motivation to want to go to it more. It makes me angrier and angrier every time you continue to ask. I said no 3 times tonight before I got pissed. Then I got pissed. I feel like this is harassment. Leave me the fu alone!!! If you want me to buy more credits - make it a place I want to spend time at and can’t wait to get back to. Stop pushing!! We have and continue to tell everyone not to buy this time share mainly for this reason! Back the HELL OFF!!!

If I could rate the company lower I would. We were sold a trial to test out the timeshare under false pretenses and when we called to try and fix the situation they took months to figure out what they planned to do. We were told different stories from each person we talked with on their support team. When we purchased our contract we asked which locations it was available to be used at and wrote down the one that was most convenient for our family. Due to family situations and Covid we were unable to use the contract right away but weren’t worried as we knew we had up to 2 years to use what we purchased. Jumping ahead when we finally were able to use it and really our last chance for awhile, we called to schedule to find out they lied about where it could be used. They then went story after story about how they would fix the solution. Their solution was to offer up a vacation at one of their resorts within a short time frame knowing we wouldn’t be able take it due to my husband being military. I believe this company lies to sell a product they don’t honor and have rude and disrespectful staff that do not care about the people they scam.

WorldMark has been the most dissatisfying company I have ever had deal with!!! I have called, wrote emails, left messages for someone to reach out to me regarding my contract with them. I have tried to terminate but no-one would help me, just kept getting transferred and 2 years later still getting bills in the mail. I DO NOT RECOMMEND WorldMark by Wyndham to anyone. This company does not keep their promises and does not care about anyone who goes in contract with them. Oh and don't forget the hidden fees that no one tells you about!!! I am beyond frustrated with this company

I purchased this timeshare in 2001. After 22 years of ownership, I have noticed this timeshare has been oversold and it is nearly impossible to book a stay. A recent change is now a minimum stay requirement of two nights meaning you cannot book a single night, if on a road trip. Worldmark used to be amazing.
The dues increase often, and if you are late at all on the maintenance dues you will be sent to a cruel collections agency and even if you pay Worldmark, and the dues are up to date, you cannot book again until you deal with the miserable angry collection agency. I am sad and stunned at the changes in Worldmark. I advise NOT to purchase this timeshare, if you like yourself, value your self-esteem, and your money. You will be much better off and save a lot money in a nice VRBO or a 5-star hotel instead. It was a nice idea back in the day, but now is just a weighted anchor without benefit. Spare yourself the purchase. Trust us owners. There are no recent good reviews I can find.

They are all a bunch of liars and we fell for it hook, line and sinker. Their customer service is horrible. we have been trying for 3 years to get some changes done. Don't fall for this company.

Owning this membership has benefited us very little.
You have to literally book out a year in advance just about anywhere you want to go!
That's fine if you have an exact date every year. Not everyone does!
We enjoyed booking a large suite for our whole family and it takes time to get everyone organized for that.
In November we tried to book a 2 bedroom in February and there was nothing available.
We attempted to pass this membership onto our kids. None of them want it because it's worthless. Vacation packages at an all inclusive resort is cheaper.
Also, good luck ever talking to a human.
We've had it up for sale at 1/3 of what we paid for two years, no one wants it!
We're stuck with this unless we want to just give it back for nothing.
Avoid these people at all costs!

They said no sales presentation BS they say it’s just an owner education but it’s still the same old BS sales buying more credits, but they just disguise it as something else and then when you say no, you never see your salesman anymore you just get the manager and they’re rude and they say it’s only gonna be an hour and it’s always 90 minutes or more if you like, you’re being interrogated with a heat lamp and a hose don’t agree to do it just tell them you’re busy and don’t buy!

Every time I need to call the owner office to make a reservation or deal with a waitlist or anything …the wait time is over an hour!!!!!
I used to have such huge praise for this company but it is very difficult to talk with a customer care person!!!!! With the huge dues that we pay…please hire people that can assist us……!

1. Upon arrival-food was on the carpet by the island. A long hair was on the phone. The safety bars had rust running down the walls. 2. The shelves in bathroom and kitchen were layered with dust. Had to clean them and the dishes. 3. The washer appeared to not have been cleaned, there was moist black crud in the drain holes, had to clean it before being able to use it. 4. The final straw on our 5th(11/16/22) night there, was finding a roach in the chamber of my waterpik. This was a disappointing experience. PS. 11/17 While getting ready to pack, a roach ran out of the suitcase. So, we'll have to deal with an exterminator when we get home, before we can take of luggage in the house. WE DON'T AND HAVEN'T HAD ROACHES IN OUR HOME.

To be honest...I DON'T THINK WORLDMARK CARES ABOUT THESE REVIEWS!!
They are going to continue to rob us and new people they hook into their contracts!!
I am going through so much stress with them right now because when I payed my maintenance dues in July through PayPal on their new crappy website, it charged me twice and after asking for a refund for the extra payment, they sent me to collections last month because they said I did not pay for July!!!! I have spoken to multiple supervisors at Worldmark (useless), I have spoken to the collection agency (Blackwell), also useless!!!! Bottom line, they say I did not pay and will not release my account from collections!!!
I bought this timeshare back in 2003 and they don't give a crap about US!! We are owners but have no say about their crappy service, that we pay for!!
Please!!! if any lawyer is out there willing to put a stop to this scam ... PLEASE contact me !!!

Worldmark is a scam and a terribly ran corporation. Their motto is profits before people. The new website is clunky and terrible. It was probably designed by grade schoolers. The ever increasing maintenance dues are ridiculous. Mine are to almost $1400.00 per year for 15,000 credits. It's almost impossible to get into a property, but why wouldn't it be when you have over 200,000 owners and 7,000 units. I've been an owner for more than 20 years and when it was Worldmark it was great, since Wyndam took over it's the worst. I like to travel and Wyndam has left such a bad taste that I won't even use their other properties. Save your money for what this corporation charges you can go a really nice vacation without getting scammed! Do your research there isn't one website that gives them over a 1* star review, that alone speaks volumes!

I have been an owner of worldmark since 1994, I bought in well before Wyndham got involved and I use to love worldmark, but now I can't stand it. Wyndham has destroyed the vacation club that I loved when I first bought in. I sincerely hope that someone with a great lawyer files a class action lawsuit against them, I will definitely put my name in

After being insulted, more than one time .. they started in on my daughter. Worst 3 hours of my life. And then being told they were going to give me best deal ever.. Would you take it if it was free... NO.. I would never.. and if I can help it, I will NEVER stay at a Wyndham property.. and the kicker, THEY somehow opened credit card account.. there was no mention of any credit card during the torture session.. I was suckered in. One time... never again.. and I'm letting everyon I know not to fall for this scam.. September 14, 2022 is date
