The hotel walls are very thin and you will be able to hear conversations in the next room very clear and also any other noises, moans and groans going on. If you know what I mean. Very disappointed and will not stay there again.

i stay at several and really never had an issue from wilkes barre pa to phila pa...great shuttle at all times even red eye flights..rooms are basic and have breakfast ..very plain but efficient and never had an issue with staff...need a waffle maker though lol

Unfortunately, I am writing to say that I was disappointed with this hotel (Baymont Hotel & Suits at 347 Zimalcrest Drive). After a long trip from San Francisco, California to Columbia, South Carolina my son and I were given a room with used sheets first hand. We asked for an alternative but it was even worst, the bed sheet was disgusting with its stain. My son needed to go back for the third time to ask for different room. We were given a suit, however we discovered bug moving around us.
I wont recommend this hotel for any one. Stay a way from this hotel please

In April we stayed two nights at Hawthorn Suites, Jacksonville. – Unfortunately, it will be our last stay at a Wyndham resort. We booked and paid our stay at Expedia, but the hotel also charged our Visa. Since April 19th I have been trying to get help from Customer Care to get the extra charged money back, but without any luck. I get some very strange answers, when I ask to get our money back – the best was, that I had to solve it with our own financial institute?! And now I have given up writing to custumer care :(

A review has to be honest in my opinion. However, I really love to write a good review. That was my original purpose for posting reviews and I’m sure it was the reason many of you do as well. It’s a great site to share our experiences and practice our prose and creative scribing in the process. When my experience is good it’s a joy to share it. The review practically writes itself because all the warm, fuzzy, positive energies flow much better than the negative. But then, I have to screw it all up by staying at another, disappointing Super 8 Motel. Of course this isn’t the first time I’ve had a “less than” stay at this brand as I’ve indicated in previous reviews. However, I believe everyone deserves a do-over, a chance at redemption, but again this chain of didn’t step up to the plate. Again they fumbled and again, they seem to care less. In this case, maybe it’s because The Remington, IN, S8 is in such a remote location there’s an absence of any real competition. Not even the Motel across from them as they had extensive construction trash so no one was staying there. In a non-smoking room many hotels will charge a cleaning fee and rightly so. So, why do I still smell cigarette smoke as well as other odors when I arrive? Even though I’m just staying the night, I might use the toilet, could I have toilet paper without having to go to the front desk and get it? By the way, I’m certainly not shy about asking especially if there’s other guest around to hear me. Anyway, with most of the hotel/motels I’ve stayed at, they’re consistently good with occasional problems. S8 is just the opposite, So, I’m done with them. It’s just too depressing and rather boring to give the same reviews about these guys. Oh well, I guess that’s the mental burden of honesty.

P.S. Bring spare batteries for the TV remote. Make sure the cable works as well.

They tried to change the price once we got there and did charge us at the raised rate! After a week of arguing they fixed it, but no thanks

Booked one of their hotels with them. Had a confirmation e-mail with confirmation number, price, etc. The staff and the manager blankly refused to honor it! The impression was that they had gotten other customers who were willing to pay more...

When we called their customer service, they said that it was not their problem.

They didn't try to help find an alternative.

Really bad experience. Go elsewhere.
