i’m professional travel caregiver i was in Portsmouth, New Hampshire on March 29, 2026 My home is in Fayetteville, North Carolina I was so far away from home at that time I was in a confrontation with my patience FAMILY. He asked me to leave. I didn’t know what to do or where to go. I just picked up my phone and Google Hotel Howard Johnson came up because that was the nearest place to me. I called the number. This voice on the other end answered he can tell that I was so upset his name is Robin Schaffer. He was so caring I can tell he can hear the distress of my voice when I got to the hotel. Wow this guy gave me a hug and told me not to worry. I felt so safe the next morning I got up to tell him thank you and I met Tyrone Fields the manager there he was so nice and caring as well. I just had to get on this site to let someone know what great people y’all have working with your company my HAT off to those two men thank you Miss Sharpe.
This Hotel can't improve nor do I think they want to they know there close to BWI and will always have customers because all the good Hotels are booked up
This Hotel can't improve nor do I think they don't want to,to begin with I had a long stay in the Hospital and I lost my housing and I pick this hotel because it was one of the cheapest on priceline,I'm in a wheelchair but the handicap rooms were all booked so when I went to check in they put me on the top floor I ask could I please have a lower floor and they said sorry sir we are booked up so I get to my room and barely got though the door and the room was so tight I could barely get around and I was unable to get in the bathroom so I had to use all my strength and the sink to get to the toilet, when I try to use the Internet is was unstable and it was disconnecting so in order to use the Internet I had to sit in the lobby, one of the pluses was the fact they had laundry so I had a load of dirty close so I put my clothes in the washer and put my quarters in a kept saying close door but when I looked at the door it was broken and the whole front fell out so I try to get my money back and it would not allow me so when I went to the front desk rather giving me my money back she said she will have someone open it up and get the money, later that day I went back to the washer someone had got the money out but I never did receive it back, when I went back to the front desk they said sorry sir there's nothing they could do,are you kidding me that's bullshit,so I was there almost seven days at a $100.00 a pop and I received a call from the front desk and she said management wants me to leave and I said I haven't found a place yet so she switched me to the manager and she said I have to be out tomorrow again are you kidding me did I sign a lease or what, later that day I was thirsty so I went to the vending machine and put my $5.00 in and I made my selection and it kept saying make another selection so I did and I had to keep making a selection like no one stock the machine so I had to be happy with a dite coke but it would not give me my money back I had to make another selection so I pick mms and the candy did not drop so again I lost money, when I complain to the front desk they said I had to speak to the manager the next day,let me go back a little if your in a wheelchair do not come to this hotel there's a steep slope to get into the hotel you will need someone to help you, when going into the main hotel there's another slop to get to the elevator which there's only one working, the carpet is thick near impossible to roll on top of it.as far as your breakfast they have a waffle maker they doesn't cook all the way though it's uncooked in the middle, you get cold powder eggs, turkey sausage and instant coffee, they do have bagels and stale doughnuts but the lady that works that section trys to keep up with it and always willing to help you she was a very sweet person.

I signed a discovery contract with Wyndham and then found out I couldn't book what was promised. I cancelled the contract within 7 days as legally allowed within the contract. It has been and still is a nightmare. Do not sign anything with them. They are scammers. Give me back my deposit!
I wasted money and time with this app…
I wasted money and time with this app instead of using my Choice Privilege and Priceline. They reserved an online reservation utilizing my 7500 points free stay with Super8 in Battleboro NC (which was a demolished building to say the least) after not being able to access the deplorable lobby for 15mins a black vehicle was an Indian (assuming) male informed me no reservations were being honored due to flooding and he noted that all reservations were cancelled. Yet I was bounced around on the phone from corporate to rewards departments for two hours to be told my 7500 points couldn’t be refunded because they couldn’t contact the hotel. I wish I could upload the pictures of the hotel in addition to the unprofessional phone service. Please steer clear of this site.

I was “promised “ a room upgrade from the customer service representative for an Ocean city MD property that showed numerous upgraded rooms on line. I have spoken to 2 supervisors and requested the call be pulled to confirm this and Wyndham is still not willing to honor what was promised. Absolutely poor customer service!!! Please don’t book with Wyndham!!!
Terrible hotels
The resorts are good. The hotels have been terrible. It’s not worth using your points to stay in one.
I stayed approximately 90 days at Echo…
I stayed approximately 90 days at Echo Suites by Wyndham Katy, and my experience did not reflect the standards expected from Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.
As shown in the attached folio, this was a long-term stay with nearly $6,000 paid in full, yet there was a clear lack of maintenance and accountability. One of the most concerning issues was the HVAC system—there was no indication of proper servicing or maintenance logs, which raises concerns about air quality and overall upkeep.
During my stay, I experienced health issues that required two ER visits within a month, which I raised as part of my concerns. Despite this, responses remained strictly policy-based with no meaningful consideration or effort to provide even partial resolution.
Communication was inconsistent, and for a property marketed as extended stay, the level of care and responsiveness was disappointing.
This location falls short of Wyndham brand standards and ultimately reflects poorly on the brand as a whole.
Rewards program sucks
I love the hotels I’ve stayed at. I HATE their rewards program. They keep having promotions for free points if you stay a certain number of nights. I always register and stay and never get the free points. They have told me oh it takes 6 weeks I waited 8 and called again to be told oh you never registered (I did on their app but have no proof). This time I tried to register on the app and it kept glitching so I called customer service and got registered. Now they tell me because I booked my nights before registering they don’t qualify, had they told me this when I registered I would have cancelled and rebooked said nights as the price was basically the same. I’ve been a member a long time and spend a lot of money with this chain and it’s really annoying that they screw around like this
I had an extremely disappointing stay…Fort Lauderdale tamarac location
I had an extremely disappointing stay at this hotel. The property was poorly maintained, with dirty carpets and peeling paint throughout. The room itself was unacceptable, with black beetles found on the floor, creating an unsanitary environment. The pool remained dirty for the entire duration of my stay, showing a lack of proper upkeep. Additionally, the experience with staff was troubling—night auditor Colleen was disrespectful and displayed racist behavior, while the security guard, James, was asleep at his post. Overall, this was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had and reflects serious issues with both cleanliness and professionalism.
I am a 74-year-old woman who was…
I am a 74-year-old woman who was deceived into purchasing a Wyndham timeshare contract I never would have agreed to had I been given accurate information.
In May 2025, I attended what was advertised as a one-hour presentation at the Las Vegas property in exchange for a show ticket. Instead, I was subjected to over four hours of high-pressure tactics. I repeatedly declined but was worn down and persuaded to sign. I was never informed of Nevada's 5-day rescission period — a legally required disclosure — which I would have used immediately.
Key facts were deliberately withheld: that my 150,000 points cover only 2 weeks per year, that $150/month maintenance fees increase annually, and that cleaning fees apply to all reservations. I was rushed through signing without time to review documents.
I was later pressured into an upgrade that increased my debt from ~$20,000 to $56,000 and my monthly payments from $400 to $992. Again, no rescission rights were disclosed. Across four salespeople and multiple transactions, no one mentioned my legal right to cancel.
I was also misled about resale value ("real property you can leave to heirs”) yet these contracts sell online for as little as $0.99. Hidden costs like RCI fees, parking charges, and membership fees were never mentioned.
I have formally requested full contract cancellation and a complete refund. This company exploits seniors through deliberate omissions and deceptive practices. Buyer beware.
Sleeping under a tree. Ty wyndham
Im literally sleeping outside, under a tree. I purchased points on March 25, 2026. The points were added to my account instantly. I used the points to book a room for that night. So, on March 26th, I purchased points again, to save money. Immediately, I received a text telling me i have to wait 72 hours to receive my points. I cant afford to get a room because Wyndham has my money in their points, which they won't give me for 3 days. This should be illegal.

MAJOR HEALTH HAZARD: Salmonella Poisoning at Wyndham Grand Phu Quoc – Corporate Negligence
I am writing this to alert the global travel community and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Corporate HQ about a life-threatening incident involving my 2.5-year-old son at the Wyndham Grand Phu Quoc, Vietnam.
Our son was clinically diagnosed with Salmonella (confirmed by Vinmec International Hospital, Receipt No. R4400-2026-00014432) after consuming spoiled, fermented watermelon at the hotel’s Nautilus Restaurant. Despite clear medical evidence and prescriptions for specific antibiotics (Mecefix-B.E) used for bacterial infections like Salmonella, the hotel management has officially denied all liability.
Key Failures of this 5-Star Property:
1. Food Safety Breach: Serving spoiled food to a minor is a gross violation of international health standards (HACCP).
2. Gross Negligence in Service: When our sick child had an accident at 05:30 AM, it took the hotel staff OVER 4 HOURS to replace the soiled mattress. My toddler was forced to remain in unsanitary conditions until nearly 10:00 AM while management ignored our urgent calls.
3. Lack of Accountability: Instead of taking responsibility, the hotel offered "soup and pizza" as a solution. They are protecting their "statistics" over the safety of a child.
This experience has completely tarnished the Wyndham Grand brand for us. A "Luxury" tier hotel that poisons a child and then denies medical facts is not a safe place for families. We have escalated this matter to the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism (VNAT) and Wyndham Global Corporate.
DO NOT TRUST THIS PROPERTY WITH YOUR FAMILY’S HEALTH.
"Vacation package" misrepresented
"Vacation package" misrepresented
They called to offer a vacation package for $200. No blackout dates, limited locations.
Not actually available for the date + location I wanted, needed additional $200+ to book alternate dates that partially overlapped, overall total BS. Harassed me repeatedly with e-mails and phone calls even after I told them to stop calling me and stop e-mailing me.
Mediocre at best and charging more than big city premium rates at high end hotels
Staying in half-assed mediocre hotels because I'm forced to due to my sales area, doesn't mean that this being the high-end hotel in these areas is offering high-end service
Wyndham la vita rawai phuket the worst, finds each possible way to earn money..
This Wyndham la vita rawai hotel Phuket , unfortunately has the worst possible strategy to get each penny from their cusotmers, they were requested to cancell my reservation for the middle east war as I live in qatar, I had to cancell the trip. Anyway my airline ticket was on 29th of March ,I think they probably live in a cave and not aware of the closure of airspace and suspension of regular flghts, i am telling this because they kept asking for proof of flght cancelletion which is simply ridiculous, I hate dishonest people and thats whh I am writing this here, just could have told me that we will not give any refund according to T&C.
A very nice and small property like Yamma hotel gave me the refund without any explanation for the same trip.
So guys rhere are good and bad both in thailand.. just be careful and check beofre going in to a property.
They will try and scam you into buying…
They will try and scam you into buying into their time share. Giving you ways to help pay for the monthly cost and then tell you this can not be done and now your locked into a contract you can't get out of
Thieves and liars!!
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts company is a bunch of LIARS and THIEVES!! After agreeing to a "Wyndham Rewards" member price ($99, a $20 is discount per night) with central reservations, I was charged the standard price. All I'm looking for is my $40 back (2 nights) on principal. I have been calling the company for a MONTH now and this time they told me that their "specialty team" reviewed the recording of my call and determined that I had agreed to the price of $119 per night.
OF COURSE! They can say that all they want! Who else can hear the recording? They can make up anything they want to!! It is an absolute LIE.
I asked to speak to the customer service rep's supervisor.
Her: I am a supervisor.
Me: please let me speak to YOUR supervisor.
Her: the next level is the "property management team"
Me: Great, give me their number!
Her: (gives me the number for the hotel we stayed at.)
Me: this is just the hotel's number
Her: yes, ma'am, that is the next level
Me: 😡 I need to speak to someone at corporate. I have already spoken to the hotel who told me to call you.
Her: I told you ma'am, our specialty team has reviewed your call and found that you agreed to the price of $119.
Me: that is NOT true, did they listen to the whole call? I would like to hear that call.
Her: I'm sorry, there is nothing else I can do for you. I will need to disconnect this call now. (Hangs up)
Me: 😡😡😡
REALLY?!! THIS IS HOW YOU TREAT YOUR REWARD MEMBERS?!?!?!
I don't care about the money, it's about the principal. I do understand why their company is that hard up for money... no one wants to stay at their hotels because they are DIRTY THIEVES.
Holiday from hell
Holiday from hell, Golf del Sur, Tenerife. Dirty apartment, bed damp, dirty bedding, mattress covered in vomit and excrement, dangerous electrics, blocked dirty shower traps, thick dust under bed, worst holiday ever, spent all week in tears. A lot of apologies from provider and substantial refund after seeing the photographs which do not lie, truly disgusting but did not make up for the appalling treatment by the staff. Had clean apartments previously when staying there so know what it should have been like. It should have been condemmed
My Recent Stay at the Wyndham Columbus Hotel
I had recently bought two hotels rooms for my daughter and her family for their stay at the Wyndham Hotel Columbus on 02/27/26 thur 03/01/26. I had requested and was promised joining room but didn’t get them. She complained to me about how filthy dirty the hotel was while she was there. The person I spoke at the front desk was rude and very disrespectful! This is totally unacceptable!!! I have stayed many times at Wyndham Hotels in the past but will never stay at another of their hotels in the future.
