This cannot be a 4* hotel

On getting to our room there was not a hotel guide in other language than Spanish. We asked the receptionist to help but told on Spanish is available. Same when we went to the restaurant, the QR code only provide Spanish menu. The staff were friendly and tried to help but were not provided with the tools to be able to do so. Also went we asked to charge our meal to our room the staff said this wasn’t possible.
In the room the safe instructions only in Spanish.
My partner's socks black after walking around our room. I was bare footed the soles of my feet dirty from walking around the room as well. How dirty must this carpet be?!
We arrive Friday evening, shortly after checking in I received a pleasant welcome WhatsApp message saying to reply if we have any issues. It is now gone midnight on Saturday; so far I have sent 4 messages and yet to receive a reply.
This is supposed to be an international company and from their website it is obvious they are proud of the number of hotels they have under various names around the world but cannot even provide a hotel guide in more than one language. Very poor.
Also damp at skirting level to side of the bed, damp affected tiling in shower room and poor quality dirty sealant in shower.

I have had a Wyndhym timeshare for 37…

I have had a Wyndhym timeshare for 37 years. You can imagine how much money we have paid into it but I have taken several vacations I enjoyed. Tonight when I called to ask about an exception to allow me to pay to carry over my points they HUNG THE PHONE UP ON ME. Before hanging up, they were so rude I started to cry. They talked to me as if I were subhuman. My husband has tried to reach someone to complain and yet they do not have anyone you can talk with. Please do not buy into this system, they get worse each year

Accident at the days inn hotel…

Accident at the days inn hotel maidstone..

The real concerning part from the accident that over 24hrs had passed before the accident form was completed by a member of staff, which this was only done when i mentioned upon checkout that it is due diligence to complete this and a duty of care to record and accidents regardless how minor this. Im not sure if this is common practice in the company but no manager or supervisor was on site and the only person i could speak to was a house keeper that day when leaving to raise my concerns for the second time

I was not offered an alternative room, no maintenance on site and was offered a medical bandage to cover the sharp screws. I have had a email from member of staff which i assume is from the customer care team, however although leaving her email at the footer has decided to ignore my replies

Don't believe anything these crooks…

Don't believe anything these crooks tell you. The maintenance fees go up nonstop, and they always force the owner and spouse to sit through yet one more dishonest session of lies in order to steal even more money out of our pockets! Resorts are never available, and the "rules" are awful.

We booked a room at Days Inn by Wyndham…

We booked a room at Days Inn by Wyndham in Columbia SC for 10/19/25 and of course we knew what the $ amount was for that room. When we checked in we were told there's a "$50.00 deposit for incidentals." When we checked out the desk clerk gave us a receipt for the room charge and it showed the agreed upon amount and the "$50.00 deposit" was not showing on the receipt.

When we got home I was checking our trip CC expenditures and I discovered the "$50.00 deposit" had been included in the room cost. Yesterday we went to the NavyFed CU and they called the motel and told the desk clerk we were disputing the charge - and funny thing, just like that, this morning there is a credit on our acct for $50.00. 🙂

It's flat out wrong for a hotel/motel to charge your CC for a different amount than what is stated on your check-out receipt.

P.S. Do NOT trust hotel/motel name brands when you're booking rooms. When we were leaving the next morning a cop drove in and he said we were not in a safe area. In the future we will be looking at hotel/motel reviews before booking a room.

Wyndham Juhu Mumbai

I am staying at the one in Juhu mumbai Don't!!!! I booked thru flight centre Don't, DYOR.its terrible everything about it is awful
The room my shower flood whole bathroom. The breakfast lukewarm. I ordered room service for dinner and it also lukewarm. Mgr not interested in speaking with me. I booked from 2.10 to 25.10 I wish I had Not. The oriental restaurant food not that great very oily. The only good thing about the place is the staff they are nice, in particular at pool and in Shooters lounge. A special mention to Anthony if it wasn't for his hospitality I would be giving hotel one star. Room cleaning slow, rooms old bedside lamps hanging off wall. I have asked to speak with General manager 4 times Now but nothing. Hotel has WiFi but it is Not connected to tv. You have to use your own phone to stream anything. This is my 2nd trip to Juhu from Australia and this Hotel is 3 star at best. You are not allowed to bring in outside food so you are stuck eating poor quality lukewarm greasy dishes and food expensive compared to 5 star restaurants down the road.
I hqve Now had surgery and gave been told I cannot bring the breakfast to My room. Western woman on my own I Do not wish to be stared at by all the Men that seem to stay here looking at me like I am a Freak. The mgr wont soeak with me! The room is damp and so are my clothes after hanging in the closet. I wouldn't give this place One star! You cannot comment on their fb page Not surprising as there would be more bad comments! I cannot believe they are 5star

It is a male dominated hotel for male business men, who have treated me as 2nd class citizen, only one nice staff mgr. The male guests almost push me out of way to get in lift they are predominantly foreigners. I seem to be the only woman here, I am stuck here until 25.10 and flight centre will Not help me

I booked a stay at this hotel on May 29th, 2025 for family weekend at UA (October 3rd - 5th) through Wyndham's website. That's FOUR MONTHS ahead of my stay! I get an email (attached) from these clowns at Wyndham on September 30th, 2025 canceling my reservation less than FOUR DAYS before my stay! No explanation, no phone call, no effort to make it right.
I immediately started calling the "Customer Care Relocation Specialist" number in the email - about a dozen calls and 3 urgent messages left - nothing...crickets!
I called the actual hotel and some rude lady said something along the lines of "we under renovation" in response to everything I said with no offer for help - just basically "sorry, you're screwed and we don't give a rat's crap".
Needless to say, since I had already paid for family weekend events, football game tickets, and taken off work, I had no choice but to book another hotel at the last minute. It cost me more than twice as much and was 20 minutes further away from campus.
Wyndham still hasn't called me back to this day. Wyndham sucks. Their customer service sucks. Do business with them at your own risk.

I had reservations to start on 10/19/25 in Fla. RCI which is owned by Wyndam sends a email and then calls me to tell me there is a problem with my RCI reservation that I made months ago.... RCI says that Wyndam overbooked the resort Wyndam says tha RCI oversold the units they had to exchange. I bet that they wanted to rent that week for big bucks... I told them I wasn't happy (RCI) they said Wyndam was offering me my choice of 2 resorts in Orlando. I I had reservations for a 2 br 2 bathroom in Daytona beach....not interested in Orlando. They (RCI then offered a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom 3 hrs away from Daytona...... I used to be happy not anymore. They don't care about RCI members or disrupting and ruining peoples vacations.

Ive stayed through Wyndham Hotels In resorts n the timeshare is horrible n terrible n they just want your money I'll never go through them again n once again they lied to me n I even got a discounted rate n paid lower then I did four years ago else where for a vacation n so now their taking 450 out n the guy at front desk this time wa a complete jerk m ass whole n they wanted proff of my income none of the other ones done that to me ingot screwed I'm just glad it's not six hundred bucks this time I'm warning folks don't ever use thier time share I want ever again second time n it want be a third of instaubat o e of their hotel properties I'm just going to tell them no n no n no I'm not interested n the timeshare offer they have for me to stay in spent over almost bout six hundred to right hundred on second trip even with havn to pay pat four fifty because I didn't qualify n going to get charged plus included with hotel unpicked in Gatlinburg TN for my last night thier through my buddies military discount me n him went half on for a deal next time I don't want none of their services for no Damm timeshare yes I said it no j no lesson learned I had another bad experience in even told the person who I paid on phone with my card info through them for it n was lookn forward to the salary they put me in never again n I'll stay else where or go through another company through my employee discount through work or just use orbitz,Expedia or booking com in have thier app ls logged into my phone n have a free account with them you all screw folks over even got a married couple the day I was supposed to go to the lecturing time share presentation got them as well thier just not a good company in general to fool with n I gave them an ear fool on the phone n imma tell em again n this time nope third time is a no n now I have to make up for all that hard earned money I saved n worked for all down the drain 😤😡😠 n work for it back n now also gotta pay my bank back as well n had to get a loan so after I apt back the fob fifty to have some money left in my account to lay two of my bills i own on for partial payments esc never again be never so you all don't offer me nuttn again I'm going to doute it with my bank n the one I got approved with for a major credit card over a year ago last but not least first one was in Myrtle Beach was in 2023 n recent one was in Pigeon Forge i knew it shoudlnfo just sayued in what I had originally wanted to stay in Gatlingburg a descent hotel for a discounted price through my job n I want beer stay n Pigeon Forge again unless it's a cbin not through this company or stay n Gatlingburg through someone else enough said but I'm telling the truth about it!

Wyndham Vacation Ownership - AVOID THIS COMPANY - Deceptive Practices and False Promises

What started as a "45-minute presentation" at Wilderness Resort became a 4.5-hour nightmare of high-pressure sales tactics. Multiple Wyndham reps tag-teamed us, rushing us through contracts we couldn't properly review. They charged us $40 with promises of a refund, then gave us worthless amusement park tickets instead.

We were sold a fantasy - weekend getaways throughout Minnesota, flexible point usage, consistent redemption values. The reality? IMPOSSIBLE bookings, severely limited availability, reduced point values, and a confusing platform that seems designed to frustrate customers into giving up.

When we tried to cancel, they lied about "easy resale opportunities" due to "high market demand." Complete fabrication! No resale option exists. Customer service is a joke - 30+ minutes of transfers just to speak with someone who can't help.

The most infuriating part? They scheduled our "new owner orientation" ELEVEN DAYS after signing, well past the 5-day rescission period they never properly explained. This feels intentionally deceptive to trap customers.

In over a year, we've used it ONCE after jumping through countless hoops, and even then, they didn't honor the promised point values. The "complimentary vacation" they promised? Another scam with a deliberately broken redemption process full of dead-end links.

Wyndham preys on trusting families with elaborate lies and manipulative tactics. Save your money and sanity - find literally anywhere else to vacation. This company is built on deception and customer exploitation.

Please do not stay at this hotel

Please do not stay at this hotel. 24 hours after checking in my credit card was used fraudulently. I am a single mum on holiday with 3 children on my own and this left me without access to any funds for a few days. My own investigations led to finding out it was an hotel employee. After all the stress and upset, the hotel refused me my nights refund!! Absolutely no sympathy for the awful few days I had in a foreign country with no money. Very shady establishment.

Didn't even want to leave one star

Didn't even want to leave one star. Because I didn't get to stay. When I booked, I booked through a third-party algotels never booked there by the way. I made the reservation in Stillwater Oklahoma instead of Stillwater Minnesota. Neither the third-party or Wyndham would switch to the one in Minnesota. Because it was a nonrefundable. I learned my lesson, but I will never ever stay at Wyndham hotel again! I know you have rules for a reason but they could've met me halfway. I was out almost $300. I didn't want a refund. I just wanted to switch it to the one in Minnesota. They won't work with me at all so I hope the 300 bucks is worth it.

If you are a rewards point program with Wyndham Hotels more than likely you are not earning points because of the dirty little game they play. I’ve been a member for at least 15 years even though a long ago and not available to use email addresse and never earning any points to find out because nobody behind the desk was entering my email address and was never ask. But while they finally found out why and said they would not give any points because it was all my responsibility because I was to nske sure they put it in at check in. Well I have never seen anyone walk behind the desk and watch the front desk type it in. Hell I stayed this last June at least 10 to 15 times alone. And when ask how many points I had. Well they couldn’t tell me but reassured I’m receiving them. Today I was told by the CEO and Chairpeople secretary. That they were so sorry but nothing they could do, but thank you for staying with us. Isn’t it funny how everything works in their favor as rewards and cash. And customers get nothing but screwed!!

La Quinta in Roswell New Mexico

La Quinta in Roswell New Mexico. The hotel is filthy. Public areas especially. The carpeting in hallways (all floors) and lobbies is well beyond cleaning, with numerous dark dirt stains and bleached areas obvious. It should have been replaced years ago. It could at least be shampooed professionally, by one or more of the several local Roswell carpet cleaning services. Hallway ventilation returns had obvious cobwebs and dust over them. I can hardly imagine what the inside of the ventilation ducts is like. A skilled and licensed HVAC contractor needs to be hired to service and clean the entire public area HVAC system, as well as clean the room systems. As I write this from the comfort of my own home I now wonder about the potential for listeria and other infections to be spread. The entire hotel wreaked. Our room smelled terrible when we checked in. We opened our second-floor window and left the bathroom vent fan on while we went to Target for Lysol spray. But we couldn't address the remainder of the hotel. The inside of the room was somewhat decent, although recent room "renovations" seemed to have been performed hurriedly by unskilled labor. Paint was all over the base tile, etc. Although the hotel has posted signs "100% Smoke Free", staff all seem to smoke or vape and do so right outside the main entrance. I cannot imagine trying to run a hotel like this. I would be completely ashamed. It certainly doesn't deserve bearing the name "by Wyndham". It is in no way representative of the name "Wyndham Hotels". The exterior of the building seems attractive with apparently recent painting. The front parking lot entrance from the street (19th) includes a deep drainage canal which is really rough when pulling in. That needs to be addressed as well. The back entrance is better. The main entrance to the hotel lobby faces an unpaved dirt lot, which provides a constant flow of fresh sand and gravel via prevailing Southerly winds right into the hotel. A brick wall at the edge of the property is suggested. A new dust mat at the entrance is also needed. The hotel needs to close for the time necessary to completely renovate the inside, using skilled and licensed contractors. I don't know where the current manager stands on this aspect, but if they are not completely in support of this then there needs to be a new manager installed.

I booked a couple of nights @ Wyndham…

I booked a couple of nights @ Wyndham Garden Lake Guntersville. Wow that was a very bad choice, here is why. First night at sunset thousands of spiders descended from the ceilings all over the place I am talking a major infestation of spiders. Then later that night I observed criminal activity on hotel property. I yelled at the suspicious person looting. Next thing he runs closer to me and I started getting very nervous. This was not a feel-good situation. I grabbed my pistol and then he left. I called front desk ha-ha that was a joke. One hour later one man showed up from the front desk. There is no security no fencing nothing to protect property and people.
I would not stay another night there. I spoke with management between the spider infestation incident and then criminal behavior lurking to see what he could steal. Again, I spoke with management about what happened, and we were not staying the second night. They refused any concern over my issues and would not refund any monies at all even the second night I did not stay. Folks Hotels have a basic responsibility to protect the customer. That did not happen, Be aware DO NOT STAY AT WYNDHAM GUNTERSVILLE....YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!

The reservation people

The reservation people, it took 5, kept putting my charge card information in incorrectly so every time called back they raised the two night room stay by twice. Like an excuse to advertise a low room rate and then put the information from your charge card in incorrectly, so when you call back now the room is twice as much. BS, the third reservation person hung up the phone on me. For no reason. It seems he was not in the mood for conversation, concerning me trying to make a hotel reservation.

Do not stay at Wyndham hotels they all suck rude non smiling snappy people at check in the hotels have cheap rates but they stick you with a 100 deposit you'll never get refunded a hotel chain to avoid
