Waited for 15mins but there was no one to serve. When asked the cashier when will I been seen was tolt another 10 mins so left

The staff were very helpful and professional.

Awful. The Apps keep crashing & logging and you have to register again and you cant log back in due to constant error message this happens almost weekly. Customer didn’t respond to my complaint & still waiting a month later. Totally inflexible with account locking money in even in cooling off period. Everything is archaic about this company including their systems. Manager in branch not helpful at and I truly wish I’d never opened an account with them. There are Building societies that pay more interest and you get a far better service. I cannot express enough how disappointed with the service I have received. The app is truly not fit for purpose & is so unreliable.

I have opened couple of accounts through online channel and my experience of opening accounts was amazing. Everything just happened in timely manner honestly speaking it only took 10 minutes to open the account if that. What really caught my eyes was the transfer from another account to YBS . I will have to say that I found it very safe and secure.

Went to my local branch as I was struggling or didn't understand when applying for an ISA account online, to transfer. Very helpful, went back home and tried again, worked straight away, the transfer was quick and transferred in a few days, kept updated while being processed. I will be using my local branch more often in Shipley, West Yorkshire. Great customer service, just like it used to be.

Yorkshire Building Society cares about its customers. When you enter into the Bank the environment is safe, aesthetic and welcoming. Furthermore the staff are always approachable, friendly and efficient. Nothing is too much trouble.

I found that Lancaster staff were brilliant in helping me to clearly understand their services and Rachel supported me step by step to purchase one of the YBS products. I also loved the extra touch of a good coffee.
I would highly recommend the YBS to anyone who wants a great customer service.

Great service and perfect ISA.
The WiFi was absolutely terrible, it took forever to sign up,at one point we went outside to get a better reception.
Felt so sorry for the staff, they were really nice.
