Friendly & helpful
Staff very welcoming & helpful.
Talked me through all the ISA options, answering all my questions until I reached decision on which one was right for me.
Really appreciated being able to speak to someone face to face rather than on the telephone or trying to navigate online application on my own.

Staff at Yorkshire Building Society were polite, quick, efficient and very helpful. As an elderly person I like person to person conversation. It is the satisfaction of your transaction, the ability to discuss is it what you want. An office open to use with or without appointments five working days a week.

Very Straightforward.
I hadn't had an account with Yorkshire BS for some years and I was pleasantly surprised to find my account details were still active. This, together with a simple and intuitive website, meant my new account was opened in minutes. I also liked the simplicity of funding the account with a debit card.

WILL NOT GIVE ME MY MONEY

The first time I tried to withdraw my savings, they declined with various reasons. That was 2025. I gave up.
Now its 2026 & again, I'm trying to withdraw. They've now declined this withdrawal stating my birth-date is incorrect. No. No its not.
This bank IS KEEPING MY MONEY !!
