I cancelled my Brand Cover policy.
I cancelled my Brand Cover policy after my TV broke, only to find out that the insurance apparently did not cover the broken TV, despite me specifically setting it up because I believed my TV was insured.
I have since continued receiving letters from debt collectors demanding £75, even though I cancelled the policy and dispute this amount.
I originally took out the insurance because I was receiving repeated spam calls from Brand Cover and wanted the calls to stop. Unfortunately, my experience since has been extremely frustrating.
I do not accept that I owe this £75 and will not be paying it. I would strongly advise others to carefully check exactly what is covered before taking out a policy.
I would not recommend Brand Cover based on my experience

Excellent Service and Fantastic Savings
I had a really positive experience with Cover It. The gentleman called Daniel
I spoke to was extremely kind, helpful and professional, and took the time to explain everything clearly.
I’m going to be covering my household appliances, including my fridge freezer, oven, washing machine and iron and air fryer What really impressed me was the saving compared with what I was previously paying with Domestic & General. From next month, I’ll be saving around £40–£50, which is a fantastic saving.
I genuinely felt that he was trying to help me save money while still making sure my appliances were covered. Excellent customer service and a very pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend Cover It.

No intentions of providing a honest service, just mercenary's looking to cash in your direct debit.
I found staff to be condescending, trying to talk over you and get around you by telling a load of waffle that will buy them another day or so that when you call back you might be someone else's problem, beware of dylan, pure a hot air!
Every occasion my mums appliances broke down the appliance was never "fixed" in the 7 days, you'll be lucky to have someone attend in 7 days.. this doesn't mean they fix it either, they just order the wrong parts.
Be careful if you already own expensive appliances, they will write them of quickly, (likely using them for parts on other jobs as they cart them away) and then give you a reconditioned replacement (the washing machine we got given had a different manufacturers filters jammed in that couldn't be removed) under the guise of getting a new one.
They will send your job out to multiple contractors, each contractor not knowing what the last would have done, so called "engineers" ordering multiple parts in the hope one of them fixes your problem, who don't care if your appliances are fixed because they want another job out of the insurance, all the while you could be 3-4 weeks without your appliances.
Summary, young boys thinking they are slick ricks, looking to upsell you a policy and then take you for a absolute fool when you actually need the service youve paid for, please don't waste your time or money.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry that you have been left dissatisfied with the service provided to your mother, although we do feel it is important to clarify several points within your review.
We fully acknowledge that the repair process took longer than anyone would have wanted. On 2 July, a new pump and control board were fitted following diagnosis of the fault. 2 months later a subsequent issue with the motor was identified, we approved the further repair; however, there was unfortunately a delay obtaining the required part.
As you did not want your mother to wait any longer for the part to become available, we agreed to write the appliance off and offered a replacement rather than prolonging the repair. The replacement offered was a brand-new appliance supplied directly through AO. It was not refurbished or reconditioned.
We must also strongly clarify the suggestion that appliances are removed so they can be used for parts on other customers' repairs. This is not how we operate, and there is no basis for that suggestion in the handling of this claim.
On another attendance referenced within the service history, the engineer reported that the machine was re-levelled and balanced and then successfully tested through a loaded cycle, with no further noise or error codes present. No parts were required on that occasion and the repair was recorded as successfully completed.
Ultimately, when the further part was delayed, we offered a replacement appliance as the resolution. This offer was declined and you instead requested cancellation of your mother's plan, which we respect.
We are disappointed that your experience has resulted in this review, particularly as our team did continue working towards a resolution and ultimately offered replacement when you advised that you did not wish to wait any longer for the repair.

It's okay but be careful when taking out a policy with them
So a couple of things yes good service, however I appear to have been misled regarding the policy I have, I was supposed to pay £13.90 a month for all 3 appliances, however that was set up as 2 individual ones not as all together like I was told, I am frustrated and disappointed that this wasn't made clear on the call only to find out with my bank today without any new documents confirming the new policy and not once was I told it would be 2 separate things for all 3 appliances be very careful
