Ordered on the 22nd August. Said 2-3 days delivery turn around ordered for something on the 28th feeling i'd have plenty of time. On the 25th recieved an email saying my order have been shipped with an item missing from the ordered list, no mention of refund for this item. No contact from the courier it's supposedly booked with tried putting the tracking number into there website has no such order in there system. Have contacted by email and WhatsApp multiple times yet still no correspondence regarding either of the issues. Feel like I have been scammed putting 1 star as 0 isn't an option.

My order arrived with four items missing, and despite contacting Zimfoods by email, WhatsApp, voicemail and eventually TikTok, I received no response.
A second parcel was sent without any notification or communication , but it contained only three of the four missing items. I emailed again about the remaining item and, once again, received no response.

Refunded for the final missing item, with no explanation or apology. The complete lack of communication and customer service was atrocious .

The worst online shop I have had the misfortune of dealing with. Overpriced, poor communication, poor packaging and rotten products. Placed an order 20 July. Only got it 27 July and it was missing 2 products. Chased up, waited 2 days for a response. Confirmed the alternative products and was told they had been sent out. Only to be told 5 days later they were now actually sent out. Mind you this is polony. That needs to be kept chilled. It's finally arrived 4 days later on the 6th. Put in the fridge, open it morning of the 7th, it's got black spots all over. Haaaa disappointed is an under statement. Never again

I really regret buying from this shop. I wish I had read reviews prior to my purchase. I got inecto blonde hair colour, I had doubts mixing it but for some reason I did apply it to my hair tips. The color never developed and I washed it off after 30 minutes. I get worried wondering what exactly have I applied to my precious hair. Scanner shop this

My order had missing items and I emailed them. Bruno Nhongo said he will look into it. I waited a couple of days...heard nothing. I emailed again and my emails were no longer going through. I texted the number, no response. I am highly disappointed and will NEVER ever use this company. I didn't even want a refund. I just wanted the items that were missing. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM

I bought chimera it was infested with worms inside, worst of money. No communication have been trying to contact them there are just ignoring messages on WhatsApp i should have known before i bought or checked on reviews. If i can give minus zero i could. I need my refund.

Extremely poor service — avoid Zimfoods Limited

I ordered two clay pots from Zimfoods Limited, and both arrived broken. I also ordered a wooden plate, which was broken when it arrived.

I contacted the company several times through WhatsApp, but every message has been ignored. They have made no attempt to respond, replace the damaged goods, or provide a refund.

Taking payment, sending broken products and then ignoring the customer is completely unacceptable. Based on my experience, I would not trust this company or recommend ordering from them. Avoid unless you are prepared to lose your money.

Terrible company! They sent my stuff to the wrong address and I emailed asking them to send me the item to my address and still no response. Can you imagine?! It's been almost a month now.

I wish I had come here before ordering. They sell chimera vachinyeba kuti sadza rezviyo. They gave me the wrong freezits and my maputi were not delivered. If you buy here then I don’t know what else do you want.

Even 1 star is too good for this company. My recent experience with Zimfoods was extremely disappointing and frustrating. I ordered two bottles of Sper Apeti Plus Syrup, largely to justify a very high £38 shipping fee, bringing my total to £65.98. Although I received confirmation emails and even a WhatsApp message to verify my address—giving the impression that everything was in order—only one bottle was delivered on 8 April. When I reached out, communication was slow and inconsistent; after multiple attempts, I was eventually told the second item was out of stock and would be refunded, but no consideration was given to the disproportionate shipping cost I incurred as a result. At no point prior to delivery was I informed of any stock issues or given the option to amend or cancel my order. The website allowed me to purchase unavailable items, and customer support failed to respond adequately to my follow-ups. Overall, the lack of transparency, poor communication, and refusal to fairly address the situation have left me with a very negative impression, and I would not recommend this service to others.

ordered from this company and hadn't read this. They are indeed scammers. Nothing received. Avoid.

Do not give your money to this company. Bought South African chocolate and it never arrived. No response to emails and WhatsApp. Have reported to back.

This is a horrible company .They dont communicate with customers and are very rude to customers if you contact them to inquire about your order .I bought french polony and paid for 2 day delivery which was very expensive only for them to dispatch a week later and polony was delivered when it was rotten .I tried to engage with them but they no success for a refund .Honestly i would never ever recommend anyone to buy from them .I have learnt my lesson the hard way .Lost a lot of money and very very unhappy . Never biy frpm them please !

If l could give a zero star l would! I made a mistake to order from them, for a recipient in Zimbabwe. As their depot is in Harare, the hamper had to ne couriered to Bulawayo. I asked the guy that l was dealing with; if the meat products will still be fresh by the time the hamper gets to Bulawayo. He reassured me that all was in order as the meat products were frozen. I was charged an extra £30 for shipping cost.

When the hamper reached Bulawayo, their office called and also messaged the recipient. That they were unable to deliver - although their office is 10 streets away. When the recipient arrived to collect the hamper; the office had a pungent smell. Which was the meat as it had become spoilt enroute from Harare. Also, there was some staff missing in the hamper. Bruno, the guy who l was liaising with, apologised and said that the management said as they did not have control over the conditions during transportation they were unable to help.

This is just a warning to anyone who wants to give custom to this company. I made/paid for the order on 06/12/2025 and the hamper was only delivered in Bulawayo on 11/12/25. They do not have any customer service values and dealing with them is at your own risk!!

Worst experience, bunch of SCAMMERS to say the least. My husband placed an order must be over a month ago now, 2-3 days delivery turned to weeks, contact them on WhatsApp they don’t respond, kept asking us to chase up Evri. We have requested a refund multiple times no avail. I will be reporting this business to Trading Standards and the ombudsman. Never again!

Don't buy, avoid at all cost, I wish there was a -5 on these reviews. I placed an order 4 weeks ago, 4 weeks later I have not received anything yet the order should have arrived within 3 days. I call them to get help there is no answer, I message them and they tell me to chase up with courier but courier says if its been more than 7 days the sender is the one who needs to get in touch so I hit a brick wall. I asked for a full refund, they are telling me they cant refund me. One thing I know, its gona haunt them, they will not get away with this. How could they get any update or info 4 weeks later from any courier as they don't have an answer for me upto now. I will continue to send an update in the coming weeks. Wrongtarget

Received an envelope and nothing in can’t get to talk because the never understand what I’m talking about

Do not buy I wish I had checked the reviews before I buy. Please don't buy abeg wo do not waste your money . One they will sent you wrong things flavour wise , what you ordered is not what you will get for instance I ordered chibuku but I got the pineapple flavour one. I ordered crisps Spuds beef flavour no I got tomato ketchup out of date ones. The business WhatsApp they do not respond. Like most here don't waste your money never again.

I have never had a bad experience purchasing items I can’t seem to buy anywhere else. I definitely rate them as have bought at least half a dozen times now.
