Thieves.
Booked and paid. Arrived to find road closed with no access. They now refuse to answer phones or emails. Legitimately awful. Thieving shower of wrong'uns. Might have been a blessing in disguise though, now I've seen the other reviews here regarding the disgusting state of their hotels.
Despite a horrible day
Despite a horrible day . I can honestly say that I enjoyed my stay here at days inn on bush River !! The Manager Jarod was so sweet and patient . He also made sure my room had everything I needed . The staff was very respectful and made sure I didn’t run out of anything .
Worst company
Worst company, if I could give negative points I would be delighted to rate them rubbish. Customer service was wasteful even supervisor was useless.
I stayed for 7 nights and should be rewarded with a bonus points but on technicality they refused. I’m a member of Wyndham and promotions should have given automatic not registered etc.
All in all avoid this hotels groups and there rewards points systems suck.

I went to one of Wyndhams sister resorts Super 8 in Groton Ct . All i can say is it was disgusting. I cannot believe they would charge anything to stay in a room that smells like urine! The rig was stained , i would not tske my shoes off. I did not go under the sheets i was too afraid. Avoid it like the plague. You need to do something.
Wyndham Resorts HORRENDOUS Customer Service
I made a complaint to Wyndham Residences in Tenerife about my holiday stay. On Friday 6 June I received an automatic reply saying I would hear back soon. Building works, horrendous dust from leaking pool, builders in the baby pool while the children were in it, picking lumps of concrete out of it, and drilling all day as you sat around the pool and in the restaurant. I am still WAITING for a response to my complaint!!!
Literally walked in walked out fully prepared to forsake $300.00
This place is awful. I have never walked in and walked right out fully prepared to eat 300 dollars, but I did. From the moment I pulled in it was bad. I parked already put off by the location, then when I parked to go to lobby a homeless person just waited for me to get out of my car I waited over 5 minutes. Checked in got my card drove to my room which was in a more awful location it was like a parking lot in the back of an alley which had another homeless person just at the stairs again waited in my car over 5 minutes to get to my room safely. I am a small girl and I was alone. Walked into the room the door shut behind me I looked around it smelled bad there were stains in the chair literally did not put my bags down, walked out drove back to the lobby gave receptionist back the key, they could see I was so upset even asking are you okay. I went and got another hotel tried for 3 days to get any sort of refund having literally touched nothing but the door, but no basically muhahahaha thanks for the money naive girl. But I will do my absolute most to make sure I can prevent anyone from staying here. Already swayed 4 people to stay at a much better place.
this looks like a Motel 6 and Not A Wyndham
When I drove into this property at Mary Ester Fl it looked like a Motel 6 not a wyndham property
The bathroom sink was cracked and the furniture looked like it came from a GoodWill second hand store.
The TV was disconnected and they had to fix it.
No toiletrees and I had to find a maid to get some.
My door opened to a parking lot and the fitness center was shut down.
The breakfast had bananas with brown spots and the orange juice was not fresh. No eggs, no bacon just cereal.
No breakfast person on duty there. Sent a letter to the CEO of Wyndam and got an email from a Marsha

How this 3rd class place got to become a wyndom is a joke. They do not check these locations & had I seen a picture of this place I would not have stayed there.
Never Again
Our stay at this hotel has been the absolute worse experience that we have ever experienced and will not go back. Here are the issues that occurred and the manager is not honouring what he told us. Very poor management of this hotel.
The general manager told the 3 of us that the full stay at your hotel would be on him because of all the inconveniences and problems that occurred. After the first night, we were awakened very early by the dog in the next room. The person at the front desk moved us to room 109 since the dog was going to be in the room next door all week. They advertise hot breakfast and there is no such thing!
The morning coffee was not accessible. There were no cups. When traveling we don't carry mugs or paper coffee cups.
No ice machine with ice available so we could have ice for cold drinks. The fitness room was non-functioning , I was trying to get assistance for an hour. There were no electrical cords for the elliptical or the bicycle. The maintenance worker had no idea. The wifi for the Roku TV was slow and shutting off when watching a program. The conditioner in the bathtub fell off the wall with the case in the middle of the night which startled and woke us all up. We left it for the housekeeper to replace but they took the holder and not replaced the wall mount.
The arrival day, there was no soap or toiletries like hotels and motels have for guests in the bathrooms. Had to ask the person at the front desk for hand soap. Also, there was only 1 set of towels for a room that has 2 beds. We had to ask for more and when we asked for more facecloths, the staff gave us hand towels.
We had to iron the show clothes and when I turned on the iron, it was turning on but did not function. I had to go to the front desk again to get a functioning iron. It took a while to receive one.
The resident’s children took over the lobby and were having water fights, saying they were throwing "piss" at each other. This made the floor slippery and the environment not pleasant. One of us got hit with a croc shoe. We were informed that floors 1 & 6 were for customers and the rest of the hotel was for residents who do not have a place to live and live in the hotel.
On May 30, we arrived to our room very tired and wanting to shower and get settled for bed but once walked in the room noted dirty water dripping throughout the bathroom. The ceiling cover was where the water was coming from. Reported to the front desk and the general manager was present at the time. Also noted the ceiling cover in the bathtub was also dripping with water. Both covers fell off. This is when the general manger told us he will cover all the charges for the full week of stay at the hotel. He had no other room to put us and was thankful we were flexible and kind. It took a very long time for someone from maintenance to come. The fix for them was to place lots of towels in the hole to absorb the water but he only covered one and left. I had to go to the front desk again to ask for the second hole to be fixed as well. We needed showers and rest. It took another little while for someone to come.
On May 31, we arrived in the evening hungry and tired again to the ceiling in the bathroom starting to collapse and the leaking still occurring. To the front desk I went again. Someone from maintenance came and we were informed that the towels were removed earlier in the day but not replaced. All the weight and water causing the ceiling to almost collapse. During all of this, a dog left alone in the room next door was barking non stop. The worker at the front desk made the contact with the general manager for direction and arrangements were made for us to be moved to another motel in the same area at no cost to us. In the meantime, we were trying to do some laundry. Had to bring damp clothes with us since 1 hour and $3 was not enough in your dryer to fully dry 1 load of clothes. 1 load of clothes should only take 40-45 minutes to dry.
We were unable to get moved into another room at your hotel because of floors 2-5 were for permanent residents not guests.
This should sum it up, never in my travels have I had so many things go wrong at a hotel. I have traveled a lot in the past!
The general manager has not honoured his word!

Guy from Wyndham called me just now to sell me another stay. When I told him I was at work he cussed me out then hung up on me.

We recently stayed at La Quinta by Wyndham in Charlotte, NC, & we’re very disappointed! It was like staying in a 3rd world cheap hotel. The carpet in our room had sticky spots, there was dirt & hair in the corners of the bath, paint was chipped in many places. We think the bedding & towels were clean, but the accommodations were not good. There are NO restaurants within walking distance.
I will say the shuttle service to the airport was good, & the front desk friendly & professional. But the building needs MUCH improvement! So disappointed in Wyndham.
Shame on Wynham for supporting scam hotels
I booked a room at the Days Inn in Fort Walton Beach Florida. The hotel was a scam. The pictures on the different websites were not the same as the hotel I booked. The hotel was ridiculously dirty and unsafe. They knowing gave me a smoking room when I specifically asked for non smoking. They refuse do do anything about it and would not refund me the money. This hotel is a complete scam. Shame on Wyndham for not monitoring which hotels are legitimate and which are a scam. I have owned hotels for over 20 years. I would never treat a customer this dishonestly. I will never stay in another Wyndham.

One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. We were moved four times in one night because each room had serious issues—dirty conditions, broken faucets, and privacy shades that didn’t work. It’s clear this hotel is poorly maintained.
To make matters worse, Chase Martin, the general manager of TRYP Pittsburgh, was completely unprofessional. He refused to return my calls and lied multiple times about issuing a refund. Every time I followed up, I got a different excuse and no resolution.
Avoid this place—zero accountability, zero hospitality, and a total waste of time and money.
Unique residence Golf&Spa If I could…
Unique residence Golf&Spa If I could I’d give it a zero. Customer service is absolutely awful! The guy who took us to our room wouldn’t leave, he was waiting in the doorway asking for a money in a creepy way! Room service was leaving towels and bedsheets outside the door, didn’t even bother coming in. Front desk can’t speak English but when you ask them to repeat they look at you like you are retarded. They must have problem with drains as it smelled of sewage inside and out. They have little supermarket where Nivea suncream costs £36! And pack of tampons £10 so you can imagine the rest. No coffee or tea replaced during the stay either. Massive queues to get snacks , drinks or ice cream and no enough staff to serve. Wouldn’t let us have late check out even when we told them our pick up is at 8.30pm we had to leave the room at 12.00 and the resort wasn’t busy at all. Just rude staff! What we didn’t like as well there was not enough beds or umbrellas so you have to stay in the sun all day, very bad for kids. And lastly it’s a family hotel, so be prepared 60% of guests are kids between 1-6 years old, running around, shouting, generally very loud place, not good for couples in my opinion. I guess because of cheaper price tag is full of British but the British from council estate, drunk, loud, dirty. Grown up woman changing her knickers in front of kids at the swimming pool…. Be prepared for the hotel and the kind of people you will have to spend your holidays with, not worth it. Wouldn’t go back even for free!
Stayed at the rawada a14
Stayed at the rawada Cambridge and the rooms were okay but mattress were terrible and extremely springy and not comfortable at all, also I booked a my stay and the app changed them to later date and they wouldn't refund me and I had to pay twice very poor service and needs improvement
A Horrible pissy mess
It was terrible..service was not great..wifi didn't work..found a full bottle of Piss left in our closet..it had roaches..breakfast was terrible..and when we ask for a refund..they said they could give us 80 dollars..mind you we paid for 2 full night's 263..we only stayed one night..at least give us for the night we didn't stay..because of the conditions we found..they didn't call us back..when they said they would.. we couldn't talk to the manager because the service desk..said the manager dont want nobody with his number. NEVER AGAIN!..Wyndham franchise is trash!
Very disappointing Stay at the Ramada London North
We checked into the Ramada London North in May 2025. I have to say upon entering the hotel it seemed clean and fresh. We got our keys from the reception area, it was very functional rather than welcoming. I certainly expected a warmer welcome than I got.
We went up to our rooms. The hallways looked tired and unloved. Our room was the same, very tired and unloved, chipped wood work, missing plug from sink, only two plug sockets with no charging points. Two plug sockets for a twin room is not adequate. With the TV plugged in, that only left one for my curling tongs and none for our phones. The beds had been made up as twins but not pulled apart. So we pulled them apart only to find a toy, vaseline, a wrapper and a pen under there. Upon picking them up we saw the base of the beds were heavily stained with goodness knows what! My sheet had a tear in it and while my son's bed was firm, mine was like a trampoline! There were stains up the wall were the TV is. There was also a wet patch on the carpet. The toilet paper was cheap and awful. It all felt a bit grubby and I didn't open the curtains to let the natural light in for fear of what I would find. So we kept the dimmed lights on.
Our second room was no better while I had no plug in my sink, he had one that he couldn't get out of the bath! Again his room was generally tired and needed a deep clean. His door didn't close properly and had to be pushed hard shut which made a bit of a bang every time which isn't ideal for other guests.
Thank goodness we all had such a busy day that we literally just slept and left and if I had booked a second night I would have cancelled.
I didn't even want to get in the shower, the whole room and experience was not a pleasant one and I couldn't wait to leave.
In summary:
unwelcoming
Less than impressive housekeeping
tired
Lacking basic facilities like plug sockets
Uncomfortable bed
I have emailed them the above so they are aware, let's see what they do about it.
I submitted a formal ADA complaint to…
I submitted a formal ADA complaint to Wyndham Hotels & Resorts on [insert date], citing accessibility violations on their website. Despite multiple notices and document submissions, I have received no substantive response. As a disabled user and Platinum-level Rewards member, I expected Wyndham to uphold its legal obligations under the Americans with Disabilities Act. The lack of action and accountability is disappointing and harmful to those of us who rely on accessible services.
I will continue to pursue this matter through official federal channels, but I am sharing this so others are aware of how Wyndham handles civil rights complaints. I hope they choose to correct this.
The Worst Hotel Experience of My Life
The Worst Hotel Experience of My Life – Hawthorne by Wyndham
6191 Quarter Horse Dr, Columbus, OH 43229
(May 20–21, 2025)
I don’t even know where to begin with this disaster of a hotel. My stay at Hawthorne by Wyndham 6191 Quarter Horse Dr, Columbus, OH 43229 was absolutely infuriating and disgusting—without a doubt the WORST hotel experience I have ever had in my life. And I’ve stayed in some rough spots before, but this one? This one takes the crown.
Room #1 – A Rotten First Impression:
The first room I was given reeked. I’m talking about a stomach-turning, eye-watering stench like moldy carpet and mildew trapped in the walls. I didn’t want to be “that guest,” so I tried to handle it myself. I spent my own money on air freshener sprays just to tolerate the room—but it was no use. The smell was unbearable. So I went to the front desk and explained that the room smelled like a mildewed basement. To their credit, they moved me without argument. But trust me, the next room wasn’t much better.
Room #2 – A Health Hazard with a Door:
The second room looked like it hadn’t seen a cleaning crew or any maintenance in years. There was mold. Filthy corners. Water stains on the ceiling. Wallpaper peeling in huge sections. The air filter was caked in years of dust. The couch looked like it had been rescued from a landfill—there was NO way I was sitting on that thing.
The fireplace didn’t work, and there was zero lighting outside the room under the staircase where the door was. The whole setup felt dark, sketchy, and unsafe. But I was exhausted. I told myself, “Just make it through the night.”
Then Came the Final Straw…
The next morning, I woke up drenched in sweat. I thought the heat was broken. I stood up and SPLASH—stepped into an inch of standing water covering the entire room floor. The hot water heater had been steaming out moisture all night like a pressure cooker. The room was basically a sauna. Our clothes were soaked. Our bags? Wet. One of our phones got ruined from the moisture in the air alone. That was it. I was DONE.
I Couldn’t Even Shower.
The tub was gross—looked like it hadn’t been scrubbed in months. So I couldn’t even get clean. Everything we had packed for the day was soaked. We had to take our clothes to a laundromat just to change into something dry before we could begin our day. It was humiliating and infuriating.
I Checked Out Furious and Shaking.
I showed the front desk staff video proof of the water issue. They refunded my deposit but refused to refund the room cost. I asked to speak to a manager. They told me he’d be in within the hour. I waited three hours, called back, and was told: “Sorry, there’s nothing we can do. Just apologize for the inconvenience.”
Are. You. Kidding. Me?
Expedia Was the Only One Who Took Me Seriously.
I booked through Expedia and contacted their customer service. They were professional and apologetic. After multiple transfers and escalating the issue, I was first offered a small credit. Eventually, I spoke to a manager who gave me a $100 refund out of Expedia’s pocket—not the hotel’s. That hotel refused to take any accountability for the damage, the flooding, or the ruined property.
Let Me Be Clear:
I feel I should have received a FULL refund of $213 from the hotel—
$113 for the room
$100 for the deposit
$20 to wash and dry all our soaked clothes just to function
And frankly, I should be reimbursed the $350 I had to spend on a new phone because of the water damage caused by their hot, humid, broken room. I lost a phone, wasted my time, my money, my energy, and any patience I had left. Maybe a lawyer is my next call—because this is absolutely unacceptable.
This Place Should Be Condemned.
It felt like an abandoned building someone slapped a hotel sign on. Mold, rot, water damage, unsafe conditions, lack of basic maintenance—this place is a health hazard and a lawsuit waiting to happen. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.
Bottom line: DO NOT STAY HERE.
Save yourself the trauma, the stress, and the financial hit. I will continue to use Expedia—but I will NEVER step foot in Hawthorne by Wyndham Ever again located at 6191 Quarter Horse Dr, Columbus, OH 43229
Hotel from Hell, worst hotel I’ve ever booked
I booked the Days Inn, 1201 Plaza Drive North in Grandbury, TX for my daughter so she could attend a Celebration of Life for her Sister.in-Law on 04/17/25. The room reservation was made via Booking.com. The establishment and the room itself were extremely dirty, in need of repair, with mechanical issues. Pictures available.
Wyndham Rewards Program aggravating
This review is strictly about the Wyndham Reward program. In doing some much needed de-cluttering, I came across 2 Wyndham Reward cards in my name. Called the number on the back in order to simply have them merged, however it was all but simple. They refused to do it because I could not recall the phone number originally given when account was set up years and years ago. They kept quoting it was due to a security policy in place...and would not offer any alternative way for me to prove my identity. Physically I have 2 cards in my hand, a government issued id and a frustrated looking expression on my face from the long time telephone hold all to no avail. Extremely aggravating! Shame on you Wyndham!!** way to trod on a senior whose got no recourse!
