Wyndham Rewards Program aggravating

This review is strictly about the Wyndham Reward program. In doing some much needed de-cluttering, I came across 2 Wyndham Reward cards in my name. Called the number on the back in order to simply have them merged, however it was all but simple. They refused to do it because I could not recall the phone number originally given when account was set up years and years ago. They kept quoting it was due to a security policy in place...and would not offer any alternative way for me to prove my identity. Physically I have 2 cards in my hand, a government issued id and a frustrated looking expression on my face from the long time telephone hold all to no avail. Extremely aggravating! Shame on you Wyndham!!** way to trod on a senior whose got no recourse!

DONT STAY SND BAYMONT OR ANY OTHER CONNECTED HOTEL

I booked for my birthday and spring break was supposed to stay from March 24 to March 31 but March 26 early morning the power went out and it wasn't until 1230pm I went to the front desk the find the staff relaxing in her phone not seeming so concerned about shat was going on I asked her when the power would be back on she told me the fire department was on the way and we are closing the hotel adding that the 4th floor flooded and was leaking down through to the first they made us all buy new reservations at new hotels and pay more money I payed $500 for my week stay and a deposit of $100 customer service sucks and we should have got fully refunded with complimentary stays

DO NOT CALL FOR RESERVATIONS. Wyndham will kick you to a 3rd party reservation and billing service. If you have a issue or cancel they will put you through a circle of denial that cannot be penetrated. Wyndham Corporate will not help, front desk will not help, 3rd party denies any responsibility. Buyer beware!

Days Inn by Wyndham @ 1970 Craig Rd St…

Days Inn by Wyndham @ 1970 Craig Rd St Louis Mo 63146 This place was so dirty. Went to put something in the fridge and there was stuff already in there and there were empty glass booze bottles in the room. Went to front desk asked for a different room. Called to complain 800-466-1589. Was a waste of my time. If I was Wyndham I would be ashamed to be associated with this place.

Do not fall for any special offers made…

Do not fall for any special offers made to you after you made a reservation at any of the hotels. Though the hotel division is very good and that hotels are very nicely stay at the vacation resort division is a big rip off and will cost you lots of money in the long run. They do not back up their offers and you will not get help from anyone from Windham because it is a separate division even though it's under the Wyndham umbrella. When it does not oversee them and they will steal your money and you will not see it again.

This has nothing to do with the staff…

This has nothing to do with the staff at Baymont inn in Anderson South Carolina this is solely about the corporate side of Wyndham Resorts. So I've been staying in this Baymont inn for many days because of the Helena hurricane. I got to where I had enough to become a diamond member so every few days I go on the website and buy enough points to turn around and buy nights. Well last night I did that for 3 days and my points didn't post to my account so this morning I have nowhere to stay and my points are pending so I called corporate they say there's nothing they can do to help me until the points post so what am I supposed to do leave and to the points post and then come back but yet I have no money because of points already tied up please do something about these peoplethey'l

Bad maintenance issues

One of your Super 8 franchises in 275 Keystone Shepherdsville KY Which I have been staying at for about the last 16 years once a year has many maintenance issues. The room I stayed in the toilet would not flush even after using a plunger. Was assigned a new room in which the toilet wobbled around and was not properly attached to the floor. The security door on the parking lot side has shifted so as the door does not shut properly. Also tenants smoke outside this door. The breakfast needs a lot to be desired. Seems then owner is more about money then fixing things. $ 150.00 a night is a little steep for these problems. Oh yes and I forgot that the heater unit in the first room was so loud it kept waking me up.

Port Charlotte Days Inn - Bad News

Port Charlotte Days Inn - Sketchy
Hubby and I stayed 2 nights. That was 2 nights too long.
Clerks excuses: They had no other rooms. They don't have maintenance on weekends. The manager would process refund on Monday afternoon (after we checked out). Her 'hands were tied'. Gave me an extra ice bucket to keep fridge cold (oh a bonus!!)

There were bugs in the room. The mini fridge had no shelves in it or a knob to turn on we had to use ice buckets in fridge to keep my medicine cold and were limited on what we could put in there. The tub had two drains - one over the other weird but couldn't use bath - and it could be dangerous for those using it.
The patio was roped off so we couldn't even sit outside to try to enjoy a meal.
The staff was quirky - nice one minute then rude. The batteries in remote died and the night clerk was rude about having to come bring batteries.
They told us they had no other rooms and it was something we 'had to deal with'.
We were told we would get a refund. Then a half refund. Then nobody called us.
We used a third party to book and have been going in circles with hotel, corporate and the booking site. third party booking site says hotel did not send refund, also stating we didn't complain when we know we did - I wasted two hours on this with no resolution. I'm not done and am going to assure I am refunded.
I am planning on reaching out to State Attorney General and Health department - so many violations. There was also a very rude older man who seemed to be supervising another man who was emptying garbage - just not professional at all - they both looked like they had been out drinking all night. Pool also was loaded with leaves and bugs.
Hotel is sketch - go elsewhere.

Days Inn Wyndham West Nashville TN

Days Inn Wyndham Nashville TN West Nashville. White bridge road. Worst stay yet. Change deposit and keep it. !! Said we smoked ans we do not. Crummy hotel. People live here. Just hanging out in Hallway. Regret renting a room but was so tired and it was stormy

Will pursue the fraud of then keeping my $75 deposit.

DO NOT USE Wyndham Rewards to book a…

DO NOT USE Wyndham Rewards to book a reservation ... call the hotel directly first, DO NOT use your Wyndham Rewards Card, and you might be able to book your reservation directly with the hotel and the rate will be less, sometimes $100./night less than thru Wyndham Rewards. No kidding!! And I don't dare list the location because I don't want Wyndham corporate to put their screws into them to make them charge more and screw the American people!
Wyndham rates are OTT, here's an example and I will give the name on this one: Ramada in Santa Barbara, CA, yes, funky Ramada Inn ... it's located on the East side of Hwy 1, blocks further East from the highway (meaning it's not near the ocean, and they have the audacity to charge $299../night ($347. with taxes), midweek, mid October (in other words, off season) ... it's surrounded by the city - no ocean view, no view of any mountains, etc. $347./night!! These people are CRAZY!
OTT rates, with not much to show for it, really.
I've been a Wyndham Rewards member for decades ... not anymore! With 'friends' like that, who needs enemies?

Worst experience with a hotel

If you have to cancel your reservation be ready for them to say it was made through third party sites when you used their official site so they wont give you a refund. They will just take your money.

Think Twice Unless You Like Cockroach Visitations

The Pluses:
• Quiet location away from the main town of Kona
• Well-maintained bar, restaurant, and grounds

The Minuses:
Unfortunately, the negatives outweighed the positives. Our suite had a cockroach infestation—not just one or two, but several every night.

The staff was helpful but could only offer two solutions: move to a downgraded suite or have the room sprayed. Since I have breathing issues, we were hesitant about the spray, but we had no real choice.

The first treatment didn’t work. After the second, we found dead ones—though an occasional alive one still appeared. It really was disgusting considering it is supposed to be a resort
We were given a credit at the restaurant as we were not willing to eat in the suite with cockroaches popping out of the cupboards

Staff were helpful but head office ignored our calls and refused reimbursement.
It’s also not handicap accessible as our neighbours next door found out.
Had to carry a disabled person up 3 flights of stairs!!

Wyndham Grande Rio Mar Puerto Rico

My wife and I recently stayed at the Wyndham Rio Mar in Puerto Rico for five nights ( 2/17/2025 - 2/22/2025), along with our daughter, her family, and our two young grandchildren (ages five and seven). Unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory.

Room Availability and Cleanliness: Our room was not ready until 6 PM, forcing us to change in a different room to make our 5:30 dinner reservation. The hotel cited a shortage of housekeeping staff as the reason for the delay. Additionally, our daughter had to change rooms after finding what appeared to be a bed bug. Although the hotel claimed it wasn't a bed bug, they still moved her to a room with a side ocean view instead of the direct ocean view she initially had. Her initial room had dirty floors and extremely dusty air vents. Maintenance came to change the air filters and they were filthy. My daughter emailed the guest services manager about the problems and never received a reply.

Amenities and Facilities: One of the main reasons we chose this facility was for the water slides, which were all closed during our stay. This was not mentioned on the website, and our travel agent was informed they would be open at the time of our reservation. The air conditioning system was malfunctioning, making all rooms noticeably musty and humid. At 6 AM one morning, my phone alerted me to moisture in the USB port, and my Listerine strips had stuck together in one large clump. Construction on my daughter's floor, including jackhammers, made afternoon downtime in the room impossible. In addition, the 6th floor hallways were obstructed with construction workers and construction materials. One of the rooms had no water and then brown water on 2 different occasions which was explained off as temporary due to the construction.

Housekeeping and Billing Issues: For the final three nights, our room was not made up until after 5 PM. We also faced significant billing issues. We were charged $295 for a spa visit we never utilized. Although this charge was removed at checkout, it was added back to our credit card after we left. We received the runaround when we called to resolve this, have yet to receive credit. Additionally, we were charged $750 for an upcoming stay we did not book, which we are currently disputing. We are giving them to the end of business to resolve these issues or we are going to get our credit card company involved.

Dining Experience: One evening, we dined at the most expensive on-premise restaurant and had a terrible experience. The service was poor, and the meal took over three hours with two small children. The stuffed squash blossom appetizer was inedible, and we had to ask for salt four times.

Pool Area: One of the pools in the kids' area turned green and had to be drained and roped off.

For all these problems and other minor ones not mentioned, we all received free breakfast for the week which, in our view, was inadequate compensation.

Overall, our stay at the Wyndham Rio Mar was disappointing, and we encountered numerous issues that significantly impacted our vacation. We hope the management addresses these problems to improve the experience for future guests.

Dishonest company

I fell for the same "mix up"/scam that no one will fix. If you go to Google maps it shows the Meridian, MS La Quinta by Wynham is $67 (but actually $108). As you go along to sign up it switches you to the Baymont Wynham dump across the street. I lost the entire $73 after taxes, because my wife won't stay in a 2.6 star hotel. Can't get my money back from either Wynham or Super.com. I hope they reap what they sow. Read Below.

Booked a reservation thru Super.com; first time using this service. Arrived at La Quinta only to be told I had no reservation. When I showed my confirmation email, was told, "This is 1399 Roebuck Dr. Your reservation is at 1400, across the street. We recently moved". The hotel across the street, the Baymont, also, (or still,) is owned by Wyndham but was under major construction. Contacted customer service "Chat" at Super.com. He just repeated the info in the confirmation email: reservation at La Quinta, 1400 Roebuck Dr., despite me explaining the reservation was at the Baymont according to the Wyndham employees. Afraid of being charged by the "wrong" hotel, since the reservation was non-refundable, I stayed in the "under construction" Baymont hotel. 2 FULL beds, not a King as in the reservation. Just waiting for the pounding in the morning.
Breakfast was a joke; a few things in a regular hotel room, but not even coffee or tea. This since the lobby was a major construction zone. Left at 6:30A, was told by the night receptionist construction started at 7A.
BEWARE THE ADDRESS OF THE LA QUINTA. Make sure it's 1399, not 1400. 1400 is something different all together. Won't be using Super.com anymore. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me

Scam artists

We sat for their high pressure sales talk for a reward. They lied to our faces on multiple counts about the reward. They said anytime and anywhere. Lies. It's Monday-Thursday, but not during the summer or near spring break. Plus, we have to pay extra on top of that. I can't prove that they lied as I didn't get it in writing, but I can sure share my experience and save others from their BS

Booked a room thru a 3rd party for…

Booked a room thru a 3rd party for Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Downtown, went to cancel it within less than 4 hours and they would not give me a refund. Our plans changed, I understand if I would have waited but they didn't budge. I even called the hotel, they said they did not receive the deposit yet. Total scam!

Disappointing and filthy

I didn't have high expectations. But I was terrified at this establishment. There were homeless people milling around outside. The room was not well kept. Holes in bedspread and curtains. Stains on furniture and the shower was filthy. I was afraid to ask for my money back bit I should have!
