Handicap friendly?
I know someone who went to the Baymont hotel in Brooks, KY. and they're handicapped. The pool at the hotel has a machine to put handicapped people into the pull who otherwise can't get in the regular way. The machine was inoperable and had to have a "out of order" sign put on it. The guy has obvious signs of not being able to get in the pool the traditional way. He has no right foot and obvious signs of his right arm not being able to be used. He was told to just get in using the regular handrails and walk into it. He was very much offended. He only came to this hotel because it has a pool. Either have the machine working and checked on often to make sure it works or give these handicapped people a free night or two.

We stayed at a Whyndam Resort that was arranged for us by Interval International. It was in Mijas, Spain, in the Malaga region. We enjoyed it very much. It was clean, the check-in was smooth. But it w as about difficult to find the office as the Uber driver couldn't find it easily and dropped us off at a different place.
Travel Nightmare
We used a travel agency to book this trip. When we arrived we were told that they couldn't find our reservation. They were extremely unhelpful and refused to talk to us. We were forced to find another hotel 45 minutes away. The new hotel required a $600 hold on my card. The next day Viva heavens found our reservation and offered no apologies and refused to take responsibility. The travel agency Travel Impressions is just as much to blame for this situation and also refused to accept any responsibility. Being stranded in a foreign country was not fun! 0 out of 10. Would not recommend.
Wyndham refused to reimburse us for a night we didn't get to stay there b/c of their mistake
We had a reservation with Wyndham in the Dominican Republic, and when we tried to check in, they said they couldn't find the reservation in the system. They made no effort to help us, and we had to find another place to stay that night (had to take a 45 min cab ride in flood waters to another hotel). The next day, they found the reservation in the system. Management denied any responsibility, and to this day they still haven't reimbursed us for the night we paid for but were denied a stay. Completely insulting and stressful.
Mis information on breakfasts advertised
Stayed at 2 of thier resorts as a member. 1 allowed pets. All night Long barking and at breakfast table. Could not get any pancakes as staff wasaking them one at a time instead of replenishing stock so after 30 mins left. Second hotel did not even put out breakfast. After my review I was provided woth a number to call to get compensation for the mis hap and the lady said we don't do that but we can cancel your membership if you give me your membership number. I was shocked at her ability to just cancel. But I guess with Hilton now purchasing blue green vacations and choice hotels being dropped wyndham is surely on thier way down the quality customer care.
Tired of being Lied too…
My Company used Wyndham to book 40 nights over a 2-month period. In return we were lied to every step of the way. From what would be the most beneficial way to book the rooms and resolving any issue from booking or billing issues. Any time I called to resolve any of this issue I was transferred for over an hour and placed on hold until I hung on or they would tell you what you wanted to hear and never did what they agree to do to resolve the issue. If I had to do this over, I wouldn't stay with Wyndham again!!

Dangerous and filthy
Very dirty and somewhat dangerous place where my daughter has been staying for 3 weeks. The first two weeks were tolerated with minor inconvenience. This week was totally unacceptable with pubic hairs all over the bathroom in her first room. The front desk put her in a new room which was also deplorable with rotten food in the fridge. It's quite obvious that they don't care about customers. The last straw was when a front desk employee had an ex boyfriend who was at the hotel with a loaded gun. My daughter is currently in the middle of clinical rotations at St Rita's hospital's Emergency Department. Needless to say she will not be staying at a Wyndham ever again.
Wyndham hotel charges extra for booking via their own phone number
I booked the hotel by calling Wyndham hotel online number. However, when I reached the hotel they charged me 22.60 (11.30 per day) dollars extra for booking via third party service.
I told the front desk it was booked via their own phone number, and they may have outsourced it to someone else to manage, and in that case I shouldnt be charged extra, especially since nobody informed me that there were extra charges.
I am happy with the hotel services, but this unfair policy needs to be fixed.

My Mother in Law (booked room), my husband and I stayed at this location (2 Wolf Rd., Albany, New York). What a way over priced location! Over $700 for 2 single rooms? Advertised, hair dryers in room, NOT, coffee maker in room, NOT, alarm clock in room, NOT. The rooms were very small. When the front desk said we could have a double room (which is what she asked for in the first place, but were not available), they wanted another $120 on top of the $700+! What kind of a price is that for one double room, late October? My Mother in law deserves a refund of some kind, will NEVER stay there again, and will not recommend this location to anyone!!!! We could have gotten a room at a much classier hotel for what she had to pay!

I made a guaranteed reservation. When my plane landed I got an email saying my reservation had been cancelled due to "overbooking". No apology and no attempt to find me suitable accommodations elsewhere.

Less than 1 star- Wyndham-Super 8- Taos- Pathetically filthy, room not prepared, dirty, hair on tub wall, no TP, coffee maker gross, no breakfast, no smoke detectors-(sitting on dresser), AC knobs were removed/ ripped off, etc.. waited 30 minutes in lobby for help after going to room. Finally left and went to dinner. Came back room still the same. Was promised a refund by manager- still waiting. Contacted Wyndham directly-"Mav"-Wyndham Reference # 08288887. They offered me 3000 "points"- I said no, not good enough- No return email from "customer service"- Obviously Wyndham does not care about customer feedback or horrible stays. PS this is what NerdWallet values Wyndham points, 1.2 cents each)- I even took/ have disgusting pictures !!

They lie about price match guarantee, I submitted a price match with the online form, they only allow you to use 40 characters in the box to show where you found the cheaper price. So this will not allow you to provide a full link to the price match.
Surprise surprise they reply to me declining the price match as they claim "We have thoroughly reviewed your inquiry. We are unable to find the lower rate on the website you provided."
Funny that as i checked again and its there pretty simple to find.

Great….if you don’t need bath soap!! …(was provided extra shampoo) hot running water (dribbling of cold water) from the bathroom sink, working hair dryer or a working toaster in the breakfast room. Duck tape covering the smoke detector! Room was clean and comfortable.
Manager, Jxxxxer, said corporate didn’t sign the approval in time for bath soap purchase!

Review is not about hotel but hotel reservations. I made a reservation online and put in the wrong dates. I called within a minute of receiving the email confirmation and called to cancel. They said that regardless if the reservation was made just 2 min ago, they would have to charge me one night because i canceled within 48 hours of my arrival. I get it. i made a mistake but 3 minutes.. give me a break.

Booked a room online for Days Inn in Elizabethtown, KY for 2 nights this past September. Got to the hotel and it was closed. The hotel had a fire in Nov. 2022 and has been closed since then, yet Wyndham Hotels was still taking reservations online for it 1 year and 10 months after it had closed. It has been almost a month, several phone calls and chat assistance, and still no refund. One customer service guy on the phone accused me of perhaps calling the wrong phone number, so my friend and I were on the phone with him when he called the number and realized the hotel number was out of order. He said he would run it up the chain to corporate and I should be refunded within one week. They keep wanting to call a closed hotel and reach out to a manager of a hotel closed for almost 2 years. They can look up the news reports online of the fire, and I have photos to prove the hotel is closed. I wonder how many people have lost reservation costs because they took reservations for a closed hotel until last week when it was relisted on their website as unavailable. Literally, they have been taking reservations on a fire closed hotel for almost 2 years and give the runaround on a refund. Unbelievable!

They would Not apply my payment, charged me for the Room and are going to change me for the November reservation that I never made. They stole my money.
