Complete neoliberal scam. An insurance company entices a tenant to buy a deposit insurance. When the landlord needs to claim, the insurance does not deliver. It promises to cover 6 weeks' (rather than the normal 5 weeks') rent. But the paperwork is a nightmare, online form designed by the devil, and the payout offered is a pittance. This bunch of crooks takes money from both ends - from the tenant up front (perhaps £300 in total) and then chases them for the pitiful payout they made the well-shafted landlord. Never again. Scoundrels and scum.

This was mine and partners first time in this process it was so confusing for us but the estate agent made it really quick and simple in future it would be helpfull for more information in a simpler form for young people like myself and partner to not be so unsure other than that we got our flat in a matter of two weeks which were extremely grateful for but the process felt like a big headache maybe that was just us exploring this journey for the first time other than tgg he at no complaints
