La configuración es realmente sencilla, en pocos minutos se tiene un certificado 100% funcional.

ZeroSSL's slogan, on the home page is "Fast. Reliable. Free." But it's not free, you just get a few months of use, after which you have to pay.

This is a reasonable "freemium" model, but it's hidden. The pricing page says Free is "3 90 day certificates" which, in context, looks like you can have free certificates for up to 3 sites.

This deception has caused me some embarrassment with a client. I will not be using or recommending ZeroSSL in future.

I've only used Let's Encrypt so far until I was blocked because I exceeded the number of certificates issued per day while still using an ACME Client!
I got blocked because I was also using HSTS (HTTP Strict Transport Security) and in search of a solution I plucked up the courage to try ZeroSSL, I generated a certificate from the web interface and then with my certificate renewal script I brought the situation back to normal.
So in conclusion I switched to ZeroSSL certificates for all the servers and services I use and everything is OK. A big plus is that I have the certificates in my account in case of problems!
Now I have an A+ in the tests and that's good!

It's not often I review an online service, but when I do, that service has earned my trust. Which is important on the web and online services of today. Trust needs to be 100%, and certificates need to be valid, and everything has to click like clockwork. Setup ZeroSSL where I needed an internet trusted certificate, been running for almost a month and 0 issues! Great product, recommended to all, and to all a Good Night! (But not in a creepy way, just in a Dickensian spirit, like Christmas Spirit and all that.)

ZeroSSL Is super easy to install , even for non IT humans and non nerds.

Once installed it just works and your probelms are gone

service perfect, support mediocre. not much more to tell.. support felt like talking to a robot or someone who just uses pre-written answers - but it didnt really feel typical AI-ish.

Invoice forced last year (2025) with VAT number via Austria for "Concertation.be" and 2026 invoice not received for 2026 after payment.
Also confusing Basic & Premium Subscription and too complicated proceture for renewal of SSL certificates

Secure, fast, reliable and ease of use

Does what it says on the package. Easy to use but doesn't provide a PFX file you have to make that yourself after downloading, a whole 2 mins work so...

I'm satisfied. Lets encrypt should be handled through the CLI, but for some reason, that didn't work well. The ability to obtain an SSL certificate from the web was a huge advantage.

ZeroSSL has no accessible contact information, and despite downgrading to the Free Plan months ago, I’m still receiving monthly charges. There’s also no option to stop billing or remove my payment method, and parts of their website no longer seem to function properly.

At this point, the service feels highly suspicious. I urgently need my account deleted and the billing stopped.

Irritating thar a certificate made with a acme client (certify) can't be deleted on the dashboard.

The validation process was so easy, i didn't even have to mess with DNS configuration

Thank you, guys, for your service. Though finally my idea was not implemented (I wanted to host my sites on my home computer and everything was ready, but it is unstable due to solar power, so I moved to paid hosting as a result), but I played with SSL certificates, generated by your system, studied how it works, and I may count what problem was solved.

Great tool for getting a certificate for your domain server.

ZerSSL came to my rescue after my previous certificate issuer changed things in our normal way of operating.
