Amazing ZeroSSL

I’ve been using ZeroSSL for my projects and it has been a smooth and reliable experience. The interface is user-friendly, making it simple to generate and manage SSL certificates even for those who are not very technical. Their documentation is clear, and the setup process is straightforward. I also appreciate the free plan for smaller projects, which is a big plus for developers and small businesses. Overall, ZeroSSL is a trustworthy service that saves time and ensures secure connections.

I thought this was the best experience to obtain a public cert. because I tried other cert entities with surprises...

I thought I found in ZeroSSL a really trusted page to obtain certificates to labs at no cost renewable every 90 days, but this is an error. Their 90-days cert option was the best option to try new certificates or to obtain temporal certificates to your laboratory. But I found a new surprise, you CAN'T renew the certificates. If you try to renew it, they says "you reached your certificate limit", because renew a existing certificate count as a NEW certificate and apply their policy of 3 certificates with basic account.... I don't trust ZeroSSL right now. Before the new policies they rocks.

Buyer beware. Bad business practices.

My issue was NOT with support. It was the absurdly complicated process of simply renewing an SSL certificate for an existing website which already had your ZeroSSL certificate installed. A simple pop-up comment that said "Your new SSL certificate will go into effect AUTOMATICALLY upon the expiration of your existing certificate. Thank you for renewing." would have been welcome and more than sufficient to totally avoid the issue in the first place. Your programmers are close to the process and understand it completely but those of us who only endure the torture of renewal on one or two websites once a year, it can be a daunting and very frustrating adventure into the Twilight Zone of certificate renewal.
I have been involved in computing since before most of you were born. I am highly computer literate, yet, when confronted with a database listing TWO certificates, one expiring in a few days while another still hints at the need to INSTALL it (when I have already installed it), there is confusion, to say the very least.

It was relatively easy to set up 3-month auto-renewal SSL certificates with ZeroSSL. They work fine on our company's website and save us the headache of needing to manually renew the certificates once a year.

I moved over all my Let's Encrypt certs after the EFF went off the deep end on politics. Surprised to find out ZeroSSL has a much better system in place. Absolutely no regrets.
