I found this company from a smoker rating website and started to investigate who they are. Soon found out that they use better grade and thickness of steel in the construction of their grills and have a reputation of standing behind their products.
I bought a grill and EVERY single question to the support team has generated a timely response with real answers that build confidence.
My grill (and WIFI conductibility) are amazing - as are the meals that I have cooked in my new grill.
I cannot say enough about how awesome this company is and how they earned my praise and respect in this age where many companies only pretend to care.
Z Grills - I recommend you to all my family and best friends as I hope they will do business with a company like you !!

Just months out of warranty I noticed my grill running 50 to 100 degrees cooler. After going back and forth via email and following thier directions to make sure I did everything right, I decided to purchase a probe and controller.

Purchase made via phone, charged $100 and some change on July 7. Today (July 17) I received a
package containing a connector adaptor. No invoice, no information on the other parts.

Never got an invoice via email either.

UPDATE(8/9/26) : Replaced controller and probe, no change. Emailing back and forth. As of 7/28 was going to pass this to engineering for review. Haven't heard from them yet. On communication on 7/26 they said they won't charge me but my credit card was charged and has not been credited.

UPDATE(8/17/26): After trying grill again it still runs cooler than selected. (Same problem) They offered to refund the parts I bought earlier so I approached them about this. After three employees I was told in an email : "We understand how frustrating this situation has been, especially after all the troubleshooting you’ve gone through. At this point, we recommend considering a new grill rather than continuing to purchase parts without a guarantee that they will resolve the issue.

We sincerely apologize that we’re unable to provide a better solution in this case.".

I will never buy another appliance nor recommend one from this company.

After using my Z Grill for several years it stopped heating up properly. I contacted Z Grill support team and they helped me to get the proper replacement parts and gave me instructions on how to install them. This took awhile but they were very helpful and their diagnosis was right on. It now works better than ever. Thanks to the support folks. They have a great product.

If you're looking for a pellet smoker, go with Z Grills. Most of the pellet grills are about the same: you load pellets in, set the temp, and let it go. But if something breaks, you may have to replace parts, and in some cases, it's on your dime. Not with Z Grills. I had a Wi-Fi controller go out on mine that was just out of warranty. I got with customer service, explaining what the problem was. We went through a troubleshooting process to find out it was the controller. They decided that they would send me a new one free of charge, even though it was out of warranty. You can't ask for better customer service.

Customer service was fast and efficient. This will be my second replacement temp probe after they caused an error on high heat. However, I was told they are making them in-house now and they are higher quality than before. This has been the only issue with my almost 5 year old grill.

I've had my Grill for about 4 years. I use it heavily. I've had a few issues. I burned through the fire pit - did I mention I use it heavily? And recently the thermal probe finally died.

I'm never worried, because ZGrill has always been there, diagnosed the issue, and sent parts. My most recent issue wasn't under warranty, but the part was reasonable (except for the purchase surcharge from the state of CA) but again I got the part, and I'm back up and smoking/grilling.

Customer service has always been great. I had an error code and the temperature sensor needed replaced, but I was over my warranty period. Zgrills sent a free complimentary sensor still. Great grills great customer service

Great customer service. I had an issue since purchasing my grill, the power button would not work unless you pushed it several times. Z grill's took care of my request within 48 hours and shipped out a new control panel which was easy to change out. The grill performs perfectly and the overall experience has been great!

We had a grill arrive with a damaged piece. I sent an email and within a week, I had a replacement piece arrive to my house. Customer service was perfect! Highly recommend this company.

We purchased a ZGrill about 4 years back. We loved the version we had. It never let us down. We do grilling and smoking year round in Nebraska. It would always start up, get to temp and stay at temp! In June we suffered a big loss. Our ZGrill was blown off of the patio, into the yard and demolished by a 16" diameter branch from the 150 year old Cottonwood tree. We were so sad. So, after researching and checking pricing, we landed right back on a ZGrill. We upgraded a little bit and we lucked out and we're able to take advantage of the 5 year upgrade option. Our ZGrill arrived in 4 days. We put it all together, did some new grill maintenence and made a brisket that weekend. Our grease tray warped, so the grease didn't quite make it to the drip bucket. So, I reached out to ZGrills. The customer service is TOP NOTCH. I sent one email, received a response right away, and corrected the problem immediately. I cant say enough about the customer service, the product, and how proudly this company stands behind their product.

Ran into a bit of an issue with the GFI and controller fuse. Customer service responded to my inquiry very promptly and is sending the parts I need to fix the issue. I believe it's a 3 year warranty which I also think is very solid these days.

I am pleasantly surprised with zgrills.
I bought one of their smokers not knowing what to expect because it's a new company.
Smoker worked great and then I had one of the wires get eaten through and I thought oh no, here we go.
I contacted ze girls and they helped me out determining which wire need to be replaced and provided me with the wire and instructions for replacement.
Popped it in and had the for running in 15 minutes.
It's a breath of fresh air to have this type of customer service.
They even help me throughout the weekend and I didn't have to wait for regular business hours.

Sent email to explain that my grill was giving me an error message (HEr). Emily knew the exact suggestion to fix it and responded quickly. Great service, thank you. It helps that the worst case scenario would have been to cash in my next grill early - lifetime member!

I bought a Z Grill for my first pellet grill. It was inexpensive but built well. It's been easy to use and maintain, so when I wanted to upgrade, I decided to buy another Z Grill.
When my new grill came it was missing some parts, I called the retailer, but they were no help. I decided to contact Z Grills directly. They promptly found the right parts and shipped them out to me.

Customer service tech Alice was excellent at finding a solution to the problem I had. Couldn’t be happier!!

Well I got my first zgrill because all the guys where talking about it and I'm glad I did have had it for almost 3 years now and have cooked on it at least 4 times a week my auger messed up on me and zgrill made it right again thank you again and I'm thinking about an upgraded.

I have had a Z Grill 450APRO for 6 years and us it year round. This was my first pellet grill/smoker and I have had zero issues. Great pellet grill. Stays covered and outside .

There was an issue with one of my grates damaged during transport. When I reached out, Alice responded quickly and the issue was resolved immediately.

Wasn't that happy when I first got it and put it together and turned it on. It came up with a error code. Call customer service and they sent me what I needed Express mail. Works like it should now. Can't ask for better customer service than that.

Used the grille for about a year and then the temp was all over the place, contacted Z grilles and they sent me a new temp probe. I went to replace it and found the connector loose and clicked it shut. Works great again and now i have a back up temp probe. Thx to Z grilles
