I purchased a 11002b this month 1/4/26. Put it all together, went to do the burn in, the PID controller came on and shut off almost immediately. It would go on and off a couple times but then just blank. I think unit was functioning correctly but just a blank screen. I called Zgrills customer service and the are sending me a new controller. My problem is that for almost $1,500.00 with quality issues right off the bat, what else will be going wrong. For a little more money I could have purchased a U.S. made grill. Why should I be changing a part on a brand new grill. Really not happy.

Just a note of appreciation. I have had the z grill smoker for 6 plus years and have never had to replace a single part ever. This thing is definitely bullet prove. It has smoked thousands of pounds of meat. She dont look to pretty anymore but definitely ready to go at anytime.

I recommend this company to everyone that asks me about getting a smoker. Incredible quality products. Impeccable customer service. Don’t let the price deter you these grills are worth more than what they are charging. Buy one you won’t regret it.

Two years ago when I received my smoker it had a huge dent in the side of it from shipping. I contacted customer support and they sent a replacement with in days. This year the selector for the temp was acting weird, it took for ever to set the temp. Once again I contact customer support, they sent a new control board. I have used it three times since and no issues.

I would like to leave a comment about the customer service at Z Grills. I believe that, due to my own oversight, my Z Grill stopped working. From that moment on, I contacted customer service—the response was immediate, and the support was just as prompt.

They provided clear instructions on how to proceed to identify the issue. I followed their guidance, the problem was diagnosed, and without hesitation, they sent me a replacement motor for the damaged part. I installed it, and today I’m enjoying my grill again.

Excellent product at a great price point. Getting up to temperature does take a little time.

Purchased the premium blind box...wanted wifi control. Lid had a couple dents and was slightly sprung..emailed z grills and had a replacement lid in a few days...great customer service....

I am on my second Z-Grill, The temperature probe wasn't holding the temperature I set it on, They sent me a new temperature probe. Very fast shipping, GREAT to deal with. Thanks

Had a Zgrill over 7 years, still looks and functions like new. When I first got it the fan was bad called customer service 2 days later a new fan. Great customer service. I highly recommend and love Zgrills!

Being brand new to pellet grilling I had a couple of questions and concerns. Alice in customer service is amazing. I send emails and usually, within 24 hours, I get a response. Also the Z Grills official Facebook page is a wealth of information.

My first impressions of Z Grill and my 1000D4E.
As a long time, die hard charcoal guy I finally got a pellet grill. My wife bought me a 1000D4E for my 69th birthday. I have been a charcoal purist for over 50 years.
For the past 20 years I have been using a Weber Smokey Mountain and later on a 22 inch Weber Kettle with a Spider Venom Temperature controller.
My Z Grill arrived in a timely fashion. Packed extremely well and the directions were really easy to follow.
I really am impressed with the quality, engineering, features and size for the price.
Compared to using a charcoal chimney the Z Grill impresses how fast it get to temp and stablizes.
I seem to get plenty of smoke at 250 F and below.
I am very happy with how easy it is to use pellets and how easy the cleanup is.
I love the idea that it feeds pellets as needed. After the burn off and two cooks I have used less that 8 dollars worth of pellets.
Once I am done cooking the shutdown feature and pellet dump is so easy to use. Opening the lid the grill cools off in a hurry and I can put the cover on before calling it a day. Here in central Florida with my grill out in open covering the grill is a must.
Cleanup and prepping for my next cook is a breeze compared to using charcoal. and the Weber Kettle. BTW I still like my Kettle.
I am loving all of the additional cooking space.
Having a side shelf and a pellet hopper to set things on is a great feature. The cabinet is also a plus.

Very easy to contact customer service. CS reps are very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The replacement part I needed was shipped and received a week before I was expecting it.

Defective parts. instead of sending a replacement company told me to get a wrench and beat out the dents that came fromthe factory. Emails back and have been less than helpful. For a nearly $1000 unit I would expect more quality.

The design and build quality of the ZPG-7002C is excellent and the accompanying documentation and manual is very clear and easy to follow. But I sent a couple of emails to Z Grills with questions about the firepot and ashes, and only got form letter responses by email, not addressing my specific questions. That is disappointing. Wish there was a way to communicate with an actual person there.

We ordered a new Z Grill and when we received it, I was amazed how well it was packaged in the boxes. Took it out of the boxes, laid out all the pieces and started looking at the construction instructions, which were fairly easy to understand. Being 81 with minimal mechanical skills, the instructions and packaging of the nuts and bolts was a great touch. Turns out I didn't have any parts left over when I got done. Then, I put it outside near our house and after one VERY windy evening, I went out saw that the grill has been blown away from the house and deposited, front down, on an RV pad about 10 feet from the house. Due to the very durable construction of the grill, the only casualty of the blow over was the lid handle which damaged and pulled the fastening bolts out of the handle so I could not use the original handle to put it back together. I called Z Grills and talked to a very courteous gentleman who understood my problem and rectified it quite quickly by letting me know he would be sending me a new handle that day, at no charge. I told he it wasn't the fault of the company my grill blew over. The new handle arrived within five days, over a weekend. It fit perfectly and not have a fully functional grill. Hopefully, I will get to using it soon to find out if it works as well as the other reviews have said it does.

So far so good, and as advertised. No big temp fluctuating after initial warm up. Has worked well with the app so far. Great smoke flavor and will cold smoke. Will still have to remove grates and heat deflector to vacuum ash out of the fire pot, the easy ash clean out is only under the barrel.

Absolutely the best customer service I have ever had. Alice went above and beyond to make everything easy and fair.
We love our Z grill and love this company too. I highly recommend their products and the company that stands behind them.

Nothing but high praise for the way my concerns were addressed. Although the grill did not work when purchased, the problem was quickly diagnosed and new part provided in a timely manner. Excellent customer service. Sent me the wrong part,my fault I described it wrong. They then sent me the correct part.

I love my ZGrill! The only reason for the 4 star is that I have had a few issues with the temp probe and auger. That being said, the customer service has been phenomenal! I provided my serial number and order number and they never batted an eye and shipped what I needed!
