Purchased remote migration on 3-19-25. Tech started the migration on 3-20. After checking on status, the process errored out and nobody was monitoring. Tried caontacting via email, and phone calls with nobody answering anything. Finally got ahold of Answering service and they passed on the message to call me. Never called but sent an e-mail. The tech found the problem and was able to finish the remote install. I went thrrough verifying everything and found that I now could not get my ESET Virus/Firewall program to even come up. I even attempted to uninstall to ne able to re-install and it won't even let me do that. Have tried again with the various ways to contact them and finally ended up with their answering service on 4-10. This company has no customer support what so ever. Nobody ever responds to their message system, their e-mails or even answer their phone. If I could give them a minus one rating I would because they were fast enough to charge my credit card when I made the purchase.

I recently purchased a new PC and investigated the best way to transfer the contents of my old PC.

Not being particularly computer savvy, I saw a link to Zinstall. As they admit themselves, it is not the cheapest tool on the market, but it looked comprehensive and promised to make the task simple.

I was very impressed. Having installed Zinstall on both machines they discovered each other and all I had to do was tell it which was the old PC and which was the new.

A few hours later, the job was done and everything was ready to use on my new PC.

I transferred an old surface pro to a new one and did it manually. Took a couple hours, but all worked out well. Used ZInstall for my desktop - slow. Took longer than the manual download and install, and did not transfer any of the activation/license info. Missed many applications and had to go install them myself anyway. Was $129 (so $200 CDN plus tax) and was really pretty well a complete waste of money. Had more aggravations and time spent doing things right than the manual transfer I did on my own.

Originally purchased Zinstall WinWin. The transfer was unsuccessful due to the fact that my new PC had an SSD C: Drive which wasn't large enough to transfer everything. I upgraded the software to the Migration Pro version, paying only the difference in price. Stupidly I purchased the upgrade using a different e-mail to the original purchase. Using the Chatline I reported the problem and Paul, the contact, arranged for the Support Team to link the original Program with the upgrade. A few hours later Sam R informed me this had been done and I could proceed with the migration. This was successful first time and I now have all my settings, programs and Data on my new PC. All in all, a very satisfactory experience. The only problems were of my own making!! As a recommendation to others, use a data cable, rather than Wifi for the migration, it's a lot quicker and less prone to gliches.

Transfer from laptop with Windows 10 to very similar laptop with Windows 11. Most programs, data, and settings transferred. However, after the transfer, the speakers on the new laptop became almost inaudible. After many hours of tests by me and the laptop manufacturer, we determined it was definitely a problem created in Windows by the transfer. I tried to get help from Zinstall. After a month of sending them multiple emails with their own diagnostic program runs, I never got a single reply from Zinstall. Not the support promised on their website.

While the process was simple and easy for the user, Zinstall did not transfer all applications and broke the search functionality in Outlook (a huge problem). Did not transfer MS Project, Gsynci, ShareX, Outlook add-ins.

Customer support was poor. They insisted it transfers everything, despite my documented experience. They also have no logs to show what transfers.

Would have been much faster, and much less costly, if I had migrated manually.

Their Migration transfer program was awesome.
I went from my Windows 7 hard drive to a Windows 11 computer.
ALL programs were transferred.

This company is a fraud. They make the transfer sound so very easy. It's a scam. It doesn't work and in addition, they have several 'ways' to have you upgrade into different products. Disgusting business practice. I will do my best to alert the public...

Excellent service from this software company that enabled me to transfer all my files + programmes from my old PC to a new one. Downloaded the software, connected the 2 PC's and let the programme do its work - took some time, but well worth the time and cost - great value for money 💰.

Bought this to transfer my new laptop and a new tower pc. Had problems getting it to find the source machines. Emailed support and they were quick to respond with a solution that worked immediately. I was able to transfer both machines perfectly, which says a lot as I had been using them both for almost eight years. Very happy with the product.

I purchased Zinstall WinWin software on 1/1/2025. I transferred from a Dell Windows 10 to a new Dell Windows 11. All of my programs and files transferred with the exception of my e-mail/contacts, internet bookmarks and passwords (which is the most important to me). I contacted support and followed the reports they wanted me to send to them. Silence ever since. It is now 8 days later and no response. With the help of my internet provider and my youtube video watching, I was able to fix this myself. No customer service what so ever. I am going to dispute this charge and lets see how quick they contact me then. I have all of my e-mails stating that I asked for help.

Do not buy this product if you do not have high speed internet. I was not able to download any of the software and they will not refund you your money. Total waste of my money and time. And forget about customer service as they do not respond to emails

It sucks, I have to reinstall everything, which they promised I wouldn't have to. It is a lie It did nor work. I tried two methods eo nake a backup from my current pc. I was getting blue screens of death messages so it did not work, so they suggested to get a USB enclosure gor My ssd drive. I hooked it up to my new computer and it still did not work. I asked for a refund and still waiting clowns need to fix it.

As always, I was skeptical about making a financial commitment to an internet software of which I was unfamiliar. I have a piece of software that cannot be replaced as the writer passed away and left no legacy solution. I used ZInstall to transfer my old PC (a Microsoft Surface) to a new PC (HP desktop) and it worked perfectly. The big thing is to READ THE INSTRUCTIONS before starting! You must prepare both machines for the transfer. ZInstall solved a huge problem for our office by being able to transfer the mentioned software.

Don’t waste your money. It will not do what they say it will. You will end up reinstalling everything including windows.

Transferred from an older windows 11 pro pc to a new windows 11 home pc.
Everything transferred perfectly with nothing missing.
It was simple to setup and activate. It did take about 6 hours but I am extremely impressed with the end result. I highly recommend this product.

Zinstall transfer software, absolutely first class. After sales service first class. Would definitely recommend.

I purchased a new mini pc with window 11. my old computer was a win7 upgraded to window 10. After checking disc space on both machines I realized that no which way I migrated from old to new, I would have to save photos, documents, music, and videos another way because windows alone was close to the max space on C drive of the new computer. I save those items to a flash drive so that only the operating system would be transferred. zinstall worked perfectly for that. I didn't have reregister any of my paid programs and everything worked flawlessly. I recommend zinstall.

Moved to a new HP Spectre, from a Dell which is like 8 years old. It was also Windows 10 going to 11 Pro.
Transfer was super smooth, copied my things over, apps, Office, gmail, some games too.
It took about 3 hours.
I liked the experience, would recommend.

Didn't work for me.
Transferring all documents and data from windows 10 laptop to new windows 11 laptop.
The process took several hours with music and photo's not transferred along with no programs!
Sent a diagnostic report as requested by live chat.
No reply from this company.
So fed up I asked for a refund, live chat told me to send an email, which I did, no reply.
Tried live chat again, (Paul) was told it would be sorted out. No refund, no update, nothing!
So, decided to post a negative review!
Avoid this company!!
