1 800-balloons Reviews 

It never occurred to me to read reviews regarding this site. Balloons were never delivered on 10/23/22. I contacted customer service via email on 10/25/22 and received a reply the next day. They replied that they would investigate. They replied again this morning, 10/27/22. Customer Service informed me that their "affiliate did not let us know why they were unable to deliver this bouquet", "but did confirm it was not delivered".
I want to PASS ON THE WORD NEVER TO ORDER FROM HERE as they are NOT RELIABLE!!!!!
I would give this NO STARS, but you have to at least choose one star in order to write your EXPERIENCE!

Unfortunately I too did not read the reviews. The recipient never received their order. After chasing for a week (letting them know I was contacting the fraud division of my bank) to see what happened, the rep did send me a photo of the balloons...left outside on the stairs. Not tied down to anything, no notification that it had been delivered. My parents were home all day. I asked for the name of the company that delivered the balloons so I could leave them a review as well. Still waiting. $90 to celebrate the end of my da's radiation, and I am so disappointed

I ordered balloons on 9/29 to be delivered 9/30. The recipient didn't get them. The company told me they would contact the local vendor, but I never heard back. They sent me an email about it that had the wrong order number. I am requesting a refund.

Was pleasantly surprised when the balloons actually came after reading these reviews but they did show up and are very nice. My grandson is sick and they made him happy.

Better to buy them myself. After the fees and all, Almost $100 to send two mylar and 5 latex balloons. Latex balloons started falling a few hours after delivery. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!

If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. 0/10 recommend. The website boasts, "Same day balloon delivery" but somehow they can't manage to deliver my balloons on time even when ordered in advance. Not only were they not delivered on time, they were not delivered at all. Not only were they not delivered at all, I was never notified that the order had been CANCELLED until I called for an update. When I spoke to customer service, they said my order "could not be completed" and AT THAT POINT my order was cancelled and (supposedly) my refund was being issued. If I had not followed up, I never would have been notified of the service failure and they would have kept my money. Shame on you, 1-800-BALLOONS. Just to reiterate, 0/10 recommend, 0/5 stars.

I placed an order 6/16/22 @ 10:30 am for same day delivery (which I was charged extra for same day delivery). I received my order confirmation immediately. The balloon bouquet was never delivered. I called atleast 5 times throughout the day to check the status and was told they could not get in touch with the vendor they sent it to. Spent $100 and this was for a sweet 16 birthday. How incredibly disappointing. I called today and will be issued a refund. I would not recommend this company at all.

I ordered a Smiles and Congratulations set suppose to have 3 Mylars and 3 latex and received 2 mylars and 9 latex. They were delivered on Friday afternoon at 1:50pm and by 12 midnight they were on the floor. all balloons.

Didn’t get what I ordered.

I ordered “over the hill” balloon bouquet, but only received basic birthday balloon, which can be bought at any grocery store! Website indicates possible substitutions, but doesn’t say including possibly complete different worded balloons.

Do not order a balloon bouquet from this company. I am so embarrassed my recipient had to receive this piece of junk on her 40th birthday. No wonder they do not have a place for reviews on their 1-800-balloon dot com website. Yes, they "warn" you that substitutes will be used if they don't have the exact balloons in the picture on their website. I wasted $67 for a piece of trash. I should have gotten a clue when I called their customer service and got the brush off from the untrained, unprofessional representative. I didn't get the first question out of my mouth, and she was ready to give me the brush off and hang up. If this site allowed photos, I would show you what I ordered and what was received. I request monetary compensation.

I ordered balloons for a friend in the hospital, and they did get delivered. However, the order was incorrect. I ordered additional balloons that were not with the order. Disappointing, and trying to reach someone about it is proving impossible. I can't recommend this company.

If I could give them zero stars I would! Ordered Balloons for my sons Birthday. You would think that they would deliver in the morning so you can enjoy your balloons for your birthday. 4:00 in the Afternoon and still haven’t received them even after calling twice. They actually called me after all this to say that they didn’t have the balloons that I ordered and wanted to substitute with....Thinking Of You instead of the birthday balloon I ordered. We’ll see what time they get here....if they actually do get here on his birthday. WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN!

Horrible experience I’ve ever had with a company. I sent balloons to my mom’s 94 birthday celebration and had I been the person receiving the order from the driver there is no way I would have accepted it. The balloons were not properly filled to have them raised. They were nothing as advertised. Furthermore, my calls are not being addressed to gain a resolution. My next move is to not have my bank honor the charge. Horrible!!!

Order balloons from them and did not get all the balloons I ordered and the were deflated when received. Got the run around with customer service giving out a bogus email address to send pictures! NEVER order from them! Poor quality for the price and horrible customer service!!!

I ordered 9 balloons. I received 5. 4 were supposed to be character balloons - only 1 was. I called customer service. Was told that the advertisement stated that what I ordered on the website may not be what is available. I understood that when I placed my order but to not get the number of balloons at the price I paid was very disappointing.

I loved the balloon bouquets on this site and wanted to send a bouquet to my five year old granddaughter for her birthday. But, before I did, I called to find out if I could request a specific time frame. I spoke with Dee who was very helpful, telling me that while she couldn't guarantee the bouquet would be delivered when I requested, she'd do whatever she could to make that happen. I placed the order, and Dee contacted the carrier about my request. The balloons were delivered exactly when I requested and, for that, I am very grateful. However, my son and daughter-in-law informed me that the latex balloons were flat five hours after delivery, and the mylar balloon was 75% inflated. SO unsatisfactory!! As pleased as I was with the customer service from Dee, considering the amount of money I spent, I will never, ever, order from 1-800 balloons again.

Very disappointed with this company. I should have read the reviews first but as I was paying with PayPal thought I would be protected. The boots arrived in poor packaging after a couple of weeks which was a relief initially - until I tried them on! Although I ordered my normal size the boots come a couple of sizes too small so are useless to me. I have requested an exchange or refund and they refuse despite their return policy says they will accept returns. I have given them a one but only because there is not a zero. Definite would advise not to touch their products with a barge pole.

I ordered snow boots from this company and I ordered a 5half shoes well I can not get my feet into them. Yes they are a 38 but not an english size 5. I asked to send them back and they are refusing as they said they sent the right size. So I have a poair of boots I cann't get into. This firm is a take on so DO NO BUY FROM THEM THEY WILL NOT REFUND MONEY OR EXCHANGE. I have given them a one but they deserve nothing. They should not be aloud to trade.

I ordered Balloons and a special stuffed animal that sings Happy Birthday. They created two different orders for the balloons and the monkey. The monkey, however, had the wrong date. Two days after my Great Grandsons birthday party. The party is tomorrow and I’m unable to reach 1-800-Balloons to rectify this situation. Phone is busy, Trying to send an e-mail puts you into a endless circle that never brings you to an e-mail platform. After reading other reviews, I sent my Granddaughter a message to let her know I had ordered them.
Update: While I got no reply from 1-800-Balloons, my Grandaughter advised me that the stuffed animal was just delivered. I appreciate the effectiveness of TrustPilot and the positive response from 1-800-Balloons so far.
Update#2: Balloons were delivered for the birthday party.
What I learned from this experience is that 1-800-Balloons is that they read reviews. I spent unnecessary time because I read reviews for this company after the fact. I believe the fact that I wrote the review caused the company to act.
Final opinion: Use 1-800-Balloons at your own risk. I will not because they are not accessible to their customers and I did not receive any communication from this company after the sale.
