Whilst the people I've actually spoken with have been great, if anything goes wrong they are absolutely impossible to reach. The result is I've had to go cold turkey on the meds they gave me and now feel quite weird.

I was a bit hesitant after reading some of the negative experiences people had in the lead up to my assessment.
For me, the entire process was handled with the utmost professionalism. Dr. Gokce was fantastic, he was incredibly reassuring, validating, and brilliant at putting me at ease throughout the assessment and diagnosis.
The communication was smooth and efficient. As someone with a very forgetful brain, I really appreciated the automated text message reminders leading up to my appointments, they were a total lifesaver! The prescription process was also hassle-free, being sent a text message code to pick up my first round of medication at a convenient pharmacy of my choice made a world of difference. I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Gokce for making this such a positive, seamless journey.

There has been no medication review for six months despite multiple emails and messages expressing concerns about the medication's ineffectiveness and the high risk of relapse following eight months clean from amphetamines, which were used for self-medication over 25 years. The medication appears to worsen symptoms, causing lack of motivation, poor self-care, and loss of interest, alongside significant weight loss. Despite stopping the medication four to five months ago and requesting several reviews, there has been no response or contact from the clinic. Monthly prescriptions continue to be issued without review, leading to a relapse with regular amphetamine use. This situation raises serious concerns about the clinic's policies and oversight.

Clearly another high paid incapable of their job role approved Harrow health as an accredited provider under the NHS Right to Choose​!

I have had a mixed experience with this ADHD service. While the clinicians and call handlers I have spoken to have generally been professional, polite and helpful, I have experienced several administrative and communication issues that have affected my confidence in the service.

Before my ADHD assessment, I was told the video-call link would work on a laptop, but it did not, and I had to switch to my phone at the last minute. As an autistic person, I rely on accurate information and being able to prepare in advance, so unexpected changes like this cause unnecessary stress.

Since then, the audio quality during my video medication reviews has been consistently poor, making it difficult to hear and communicate clearly during discussions about medication. These appointments involve important clinical decisions, so clear communication is essential.

I was also issued an incorrect prescription, which resulted in a delay before the correct prescription was provided. Although the staff I spoke to were apologetic and did their best to help, receiving the wrong prescription and then having to wait for it to be corrected was concerning.

I emailed to request that a medication review be rescheduled because of the prescription delay but never received a response. I have since requested that future medication reviews be conducted by telephone instead of video because of the ongoing audio issues, but based on my previous experience, I am not confident that my request will be acknowledged or acted upon.

I have also been unable to submit more than one patient feedback survey despite receiving a survey link after each medication review, limiting my ability to provide ongoing feedback.

Finally, when I tried to formally raise these concerns, I discovered that the feedback email address I found online was no longer in use and returned an automatic response. This created yet another barrier to providing feedback.

Individually, each of these issues may seem relatively minor. Collectively, however, they point to recurring problems with communication and administration. For neurodivergent patients, particularly autistic people and those with ADHD, reliable communication, timely responses and reasonable adjustments are essential for accessible care.

I hope this feedback is taken constructively and contributes to improvements for future patients.

I was extremely happy with the service. I had a great clinician. He was really empathic very supportive. Tried to dig deep into my childhood issues which is really hard to remember and also I felt he was really supportive. He gave very Frank details at the end in terms of my potential medication. Overall was really happy with the service. It was really thorough report which I read that went to my GP. Maybe I just got lucky with the great psychologist. I'm not medicating. I have no interest in medicating but it's made me acutely aware of having ADHD and how I now manage that in my day today. Just having the understanding of the diagnosis has made my life so much brighter. I know understand my superpower.

I wish I'd thought to look on Trustpilot before I chose Harrow Healthcare for my ADHD assessment. The clinician was snappy & impatient & rattled through the whole procedure. The connection was poor throughout. It was awful. I lodged a complaint almost immediately afterwards, but after a delay in responding all I've got is a denial from the clinician - of course she'd deny it! Appalling

Terrible experience! Today (june) is the 4th time I have had my appointment cancelled due to the doctors not able to make it. My first cancellation was in February and 5 months later I am still waiting. The doctors do not think of how cancelling can affects patients. In 2 instances I got a call an hour before my appointment to say its been cancelled! Do not trust these doctors

The diagnostic process was quick and professional, but everything went downhill afterwards. Communication is virtually non-existent, emails are ignored, and getting through by phone is almost impossible. I was left without my ADHD medication for an extended period despite repeatedly trying to contact the clinic. The lack of care, accountability, and concern for patients who depend on ongoing treatment is shocking. If you are looking for reliable long-term ADHD support, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.

After reading many negative reviews, I became concerned about my choice of provider. However, I’m very glad that I ignored them and continued with the process.

From my GP referral to receiving a diagnosis took just 6 days. My medication titration was also discussed on the same day as my assessment, which made far more sense to me than having separate appointments, as some other providers do.

My assessment was scheduled for 2:00 pm, and my psychiatrist joined at 2:15 pm. I genuinely don’t understand some of the complaints about doctors running late. Whether you’re in a hospital or a GP surgery, appointments don’t always run exactly on time. If the patient before me was discussing a lifetime of difficulties, I would much rather the psychiatrist take the time to listen properly than rush them through. Mental health assessments aren’t linear and shouldn’t be rushed.

I was particularly impressed that my psychiatrist, Dr Sabouni, had clearly reviewed my letters, consultations, and paperwork before the appointment. It felt personalised rather than like a standard checklist exercise.

We discussed my symptoms in detail, and a diagnosis was made. Medication options were also explored thoroughly, but at no point did I feel pressured into taking anything. We discussed both the benefits and potential drawbacks, allowing me to make an informed decision.

Thank you, Dr Sabouni. My experience has been extremely positive, and I would encourage others not to be discouraged solely by negative reviews, especially when some seem to be based on unrealistic expectations.

I had the most amazing call with Jess at Harrow Health. She was incredibly friendly, professional, and reassuring throughout the conversation.

Jess took the time to explain everything thoroughly, including the upcoming stages of the ADHD assessment process, and was completely honest and transparent about what to expect. I really appreciated how clearly she communicated everything, which helped put my mind at ease.

What stood out most was her personal commitment to helping me—she even said she would keep an eye on my documents as they came through, which made me feel genuinely supported and valued as a patient.

the start was great had my assessment and medication with in days of each other started on a low dose then doubled and had some side effects in dec 2025 and ive hardly had any contact or another medication since its now june 2026 and ive just been left they do not answer calls or emails ive been trying for months ,even from my doctor. i wish i chose another company i would never recommend harrow health

Since beginning under Harrow from assessment, to diagnosis, to receiving the appropriate medication, my quality of life has improved significantly. Terrible, really assessment, aftercare, appointment always run late, if you then miss is by 5 mins as you can’t wait for over an 1 hour you then get a missed appointment, impossible to get hold off on the phone, really hard to re book and move appointments. Would avoid at all costs.

My GP referral, right to chose, initial appointment/assessment and return of the assessment was extremely quick. Took me 12 weeks start to finish. However, this is where I simply have to be honest that I would absolutely not recommend this clinic for anything else apart from diagnosing.
There is no continuity of care - I have seen 3 different health professionals who I have had to repeat information to multiple times.
The admin team are awful - the phone lines open at 9am, but I had to phone between 20-30 times every day last week to resolve my medication.
Emails are not answered - I have 4 different email addresses for HH and despite sending 10 emails last week and the week before, none of them have been answered.
Their safeguarding practices are absolutely not NHS standard nor appropriate for the patients. Despite advising the medical practitioner that I had experienced a significant decline in my mental health, and had had a self harm episode as a result, it still took 6 working days for my medication to be resolved after the appointment where I was advised it would be amended.
I have had appointments cancelled without being advised they have been cancelled.
I have been told my medication text was sent to me despite this not happening.
I have even go so far as to raise a complaint with HH due to the issues I have faced, yet the complaint handler failed to provide her name and role everytime she phoned so I had to ask where she was from and who she was. Not particularly GDPR friendly nor does it make me feel confident that the person I am speaking to is a professional.
All round, whilst I am extremely grateful I have been told after 20 years of struggling that I do have ADHD, the process of securing medication and being supported through this has been abysmal. I have noted to HH that I followed every procedure they had, making a multitude of telephone calls and emails to the team to advise them of my rising mental health crisis and the issues from my medication, to be ignored. I have raised with HH that if I had been a less fortune patient, without a supportive network, they would likely have a deceased patient. I find it incredibly difficult to grapple with the idea that even a service for people with ADHD can be so ableist towards us, because their service is not supportive towards our condition. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone and would strongly recommend if you’re seeking titration, to do this with another clinic.

I strongly advise against using Harrow Health ADHD for an assessment, despite their short wait times. I had my assessment on May 8th, and it was completely unprofessional.

Unstructured & Vague: The psychiatrist introduced themselves so quickly I didn't catch their name. They started late (30 minutes) and asked vague, inadequate questions that showed no understanding of ADHD.

No Assessment Rigour: It was clear this was not a serious assessment. The clinic appears to have no genuine understanding of how to diagnose ADHD. I believe they are using the "Right to Choose" scheme to cash in rather than provide care.

No Report & No Response: I have requested my assessment report twice since May 8th and received zero response.

Verdict: The short wait time exists because they do not actually assess you properly. Do not make my mistake—read the negative reviews first. This clinic should not be on the Right to Choose scheme.

JESS - EXCEPTIONAL CALL HANDLER
Jess is an outstanding, highly talented and dedicated call handler. From my first point of contact with Jess, her genuine warmth, compassion and authenticity shone through. This is something that cannot be faked. Jess embodies going above and beyond. Her high emotional intelligence teamed with her high intellect mean that she immediately grasps complex issues and is able to resolve and take the best course of action all the while remaining highly personable and friendly. Jess really puts you at ease and is very skilled in her role.
Jess is simply the best brand ambassador for Right to Choose and I hope her hard work and dedication are rewarded. Knowing people like Jess still exist restores my faith in humanity. She handles everything in such a calm and reassuring manner. Always putting patients needs first.

I have read these some of the reviews and im shocked I have found Harrow Health to be excellent i have been under their care for a few months now, the drs are amazing understanding and caring i think my 1st appointment went on for about 2hrs, i cannot fault the service and care i am being given, ok emails might take a while for responding and wait time for the my phone call was longer than expected, yes us with ADHD find that difficult sitting in line for the phone to be answered, but when it was I was reassured by the team, they was really helpful getting me a emergency appointment.
I cannot fault the whole process.

The assessment was conducted without structure or clarity. I had reminder text messages referencing a phone call appointment, then at the appointment time the message came through that this would be a video consult which immediately put me on the back foot.

No introduction was made other than the assessors surname. No information on who I was giving sensitive information to, the session was not recorded. After the assessment I asked if the session had been recorded as I couldn't get over what had just happened. The answer: "if I'm recording I'll say it at the beginning of the assessment..."
The assessor divulged information from my informants questionnaire and clearly was not a healthcare professional. Anyone who is familiar with neurodivergent people would be aware that structure is not a preference; it is a fundamental requirement for safety, predictability, and emotional regulation. I felt completely unsafe.

They would ask a question, and move on as soon as I paused for breath. They asked the same question three times and was so clearly not engaged or listening. It's extremely concerning that HH would put this person in a position of making life changing decisions. The assessor had to "as the consultant" for help on two occasions. This leads me to wonder who I was talking to, if they were not in a possession of the information themselves. Do not be tempted to choose this service due to the relatively short wait list. I did not receive either a positive or negative diagnosis and have to start the entire referral again. This has cost me six months.

I’m currently in the process of waiting for my medication after my diagnosis. The communication has been appalling. Telling me they need bp a pulse readings even though ive sent these in. Multiple times and even been told on the phone i will receive my one time code straight after only to not receive it. I’m mad, unsure of what to do and they are the most unprofessional business I’ve ever had to deal with. They shouldn’t be on the right to choose scheme. Do not recommended for anyone, even if they have a low wait time.

Like others have said, this clinic doesn’t have any idea what ADHD is, let alone diagnosis.

Before my assessment I had recieved 6 texts saying I was going to get a telephone call at 2pm. Only to then get a link at 2.04pm for a video call.

If you want an ADHD assessment go elsewhere. Clear reason why their waiting lists are so short.

A private provider that has decided to cash in on the right to choose scheme, without actually having sufficient knowledge.
