Laura Robbins was incredible in carrying out the assessment She was reassuring and made me relaxed throughout the whole process, gently getting me refocused on the questions at hand. She was patient and extremely understanding of my difficulties and carried her self with incredible professionalism.

The forms that were filled out prior to the assessment were extremely confusing and challenging, especially for someone with issues in concentrating. The questions were long and difficult to follow. Numerous answers were repeated throughout the form, giving an impression that the questions were repeating themselves A more concise process would allow easier access towards receiving an assessment. I wouldn't be able to complete the paperwork without my daughter. Not everyone has the same levels of assistance and resources, which could discourage some patients to apply.

I had an exceptional experience with Mentalwell. Nothing felt massively overwhelming, unlike most forms. I also felt really seen during the assessment. I found the staff to be very proactive and helpful. My one critique is that their website doesn't work on a mobile phone. The view panel on the left makes it difficult to complete the forms or look at the dashboard.
But otherwise I had a great experience with them.

Fast and checked up on my application. Doctor I saw was very good a trained psychiatrist which was extremely helpful. Hoping the rest of the process will continue to be as good! Contacting the team is a bit long winded.

I cannot fault my experience. It has been timely and professional.

My experience with Mentalwell was ultimately positive in that I recieved a diagnosis of inattentive ADHD, but the process of getting there was difficult and at times, distressing. My Assesment was expected to last two hours but ran to almost two and a half, during which time I discussed some deeply personal and traumatic experiences. At the end of the assesment, I was told that the clinician did not feel I had ADHD, which left me feeling a bit lost. The following evening, I submitted a ‘complaint’ to ask about the process for obtaining a second opinion. The next morning the clinician had tried to contact me although I was unable to take the call and this lead to a further conversation on Monday, he explained that whilst writing my report and reflecting on my answers, he had reconsidered his initial opinion and concluded that I do in fact, have inattentive ADHD. While I really appreciate his willingness to reflect on his clinical judgement and acknowledge that the interaction between ADHD, trauma and the presentation of symptoms in women can make diagnosis complex, the significant change in opinion left me with questions about the assesment process, particularly whether my concerns and request for a second opinion prompted a reassessment which may not have otherwise happened. I would have valued greater clarity and reassurance at the time, given how vulnerable I felt after sharing such difficult experiences. Although I am so grateful for the eventual outcome, I believe the experience highlights the importance of sensitive communication, careful consideration of complex presentations and ensuring people feel heard and supported throughout the diagnostic process.
