Arranged the collection of my car at the end of the contract, collector Anglia did not arrive sent a msg 3 days later saying they would not collect on the agreed date, Tried repeatedly the contact Arval returns dept and customer services thay just fobbed me off, don't trust this company, their staff are unbelievably incompetent. Will never use them again.
When my vehicle was returned they tried to bill me £500 for a spare key and a service book I was never supplied with the vehicle, they must have known this as audi service is done on audi database and the vehicle was only supplied with 1 key due to the chip shortage In 2022 what a rip off

Throughout the whole experience of leasing a car from Arval, communication was a large problem. I found it very difficult to get any information.
Issues I had with the delivery of the vehicle were never resolved as they just ignore all correspondence.
several questions I asked during the Lease period were never answered.
At the end of the Lease, when they took an additional payment from my employer that they were not entitled to, they point blankly refused to talk to me.
If this is your only way to get a Salary Sacrifice car, then I wish you good luck.
The 1 star is because I was unable to give no stars.

Feb 26 had required a tyre replacement through out maintenance package purchased. The incorrect tyre fitted, now 17th April and 7 visits from a tyre company organised by Arval and still no tyre. Incorrect tyres ordered, tyre suppliers not arriving. Arval don’t care, they don’t call back. They even said it’s fine to drive on the tyre fitted. I asked why tyre I have and they couldn’t tell me. The car is now parked up not being driven still paying the monthly fee. Yet they can’t even get a tyre replacement right. Left reviews on X that are now being ignored, told on the 17th April they will call back and no call back.
20th April 2026, Tyre fitter arrived with yet again the incorrect tyre, Arval Tyre line aren't bothered refusing to escalate to a manager, and the tyre line agent is very dismissive.

I purchased my vehicle off arval at end of lease. Arval were awful and I will not go anywhere near them again. I spent 120minutes on hold trying to speak to someone. They charged me road tax 1 month after id purchased my van. They charged me rental costs even though I was told there would be no extra charge after my contract end date, as they said I could have a grace period for a few days while the finance company and arval sorted funds. This delay was not my issue so I was unfairly charged.

I got a vehicle with these people through Pink Lease (who were great, now called Total Motion). However, these people took it upon themselves to try and charge me then threaten me with negative file entries if I did not pay them again. You cannot speak to a person, because they are allergic to answering the phone, unless you have 50 minutes to wait for someone to answer the call. When they do, they are cocky and arrogant with little knowledge of the case.
i have written a formal letter of complaint and will wait to see how long before they learn to read that! they have been paid and on time. I now seek a better lender.

Leaser beware!
This company automatically pay parking fines on vehicles leased to you - accepting full liability on your behalf with no communication, when they should not be doing so. To add insult to injury, they charge you an exorbitant admin fee to pay the fine.

You have already “investigated “ this using your own apparently impartial review team.
You, as a company should not be admitting parking fine liabilities to a private parking company.

Dreadful company. I have leased cars before but no company as bad as this. Communication is so bad. Unexpected charges. The final straw was when I returned the car in perfect condition to be charged £299 for the most minute scratches on the bumper. Fair use policy eh? Shocking . I only do 4k miles a year , female driver. Car was immaculate. I appealed and was declined and they send straight to debt collection. Glad to see the car going to see the back of them . I will lease again but if Arval are involved I will run a mile.

Had multiple cars from Arval over many years. All is good until you need customer service. Appalling response, any issues then you are locked into a huge amount of time trying to get through on the phone.
They have taken large amounts of money from my account and when i eventually got through (1st April 26) their invoice data they sent me does not even closely match what they took from my account. Having sent them a breakdown of figures ten days later I am still waiting for a response.
Now been listening to their hold music for 28 minutes, so have given up! Next step will be to cancel the direct debit and wait for them to contact me.

Customer service is an absolute joke! Wait on line to get through only to be met with agents who have no clue on the policies and procedures.
Finally get through to the complaints team, they are no better and lie about being called back by a manager!!

This is the third 1 star review as Arval is absolutely disgusting to use. I have had a massive complaint against them anything they can't explain away is ignored and swept under the carpet. I almost died and have lost my income yet these inhuman disgusting people want me to pay them over £1700 to take the vehicle back which was actually delivered in breach of the contract as I was in hospital fighting for my life when it was delivered. I am now dealing with loss of job, serious injuries and PTSD but this means nothing to this vile company. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS THEY HAVE NO COMPASSION AND WILL JUST TRY TO SQUEEZE AS MUCH BLOOD FROM YOU AS THEY CAN.
Just to add as they have replied. The complaint was closed without everything being investigated properly. The car should not have been delivered as I didnt take delivery as i was fighting for my life in hospital. Complaints said and I quote this was a very serious accusation (it is not an accusation it is a fact as has been proven to regulated collections department at Arval) and would need to be investigated. She then proceeded to have this signed off without any investigation whatsoever. I have all of the emails to prove this. So no you have not checked my account properly and are just as bad as complaints trying to avoid and cover up serious complaints. I have had to edit out the members of staff names I used even though I have email proof of everything and their names in them. This is Arval clutching at straws to tey and cover this up and get the review removed. They didnt even attempt to explain the serious contract breach just tried to get it removed. Laughable and typical of this disgusting company.
