Ascent Energy Services Reviews

Excellent service from start to finish. The Team at Ascent Energy were extremely friendly and accommodating to provide an installation date which suited me. The EV charger installation was carried out professionally, efficiently, and to a very high standard. The installer was knowledgeable, punctual, and took the time to explain everything clearly and double checked I was happy with the location of the equipment before installing it. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a smooth and hassle-free EV charger installation. Also all the necessary electrical test and installation certification has been received extremely quickly.

EV installation was easy to book with Ascent. Our installation was completed by Owen who provided an absolutely flawless, five-star home EV charger installation from start to finish. He arrived exactly on time and demonstrated incredible forward-thinking when handling our setup. We plan to convert our garage into a kitchen-diner in the future, and Owen strategically ran and hid the cabling so that our future home renovations will not be disrupted. He expertly installed our Ohme tethered 8m charger, ensuring placement gave maximum reach across the driveway. After finishing the exceptionally neat job, he left the workspace completely spotless and patiently walked me through the smartphone app setup. Owen is polite, highly skilled, and professional - From my experience, I cannot recommend Ascent enough for any home EV installation. Diolch yn fawr!

The company rang me to offer a slot that same afternoon 2 weeks earlier than my appointment date. Jason Metcalfe, the installer, did a very good job and tidied up well after him. He also explained how to set it up on my phone and how to use the charger.

Dan fitted our EV charger today and did a great job he was very curtious and asked our opinion every step of the way through the installation. He tidied every where he had been and was happy to guide us how to use the cord app. Would highly recommend him to everyone.

We had a date and time slot provided. Dorian arrived promptly and was very polite and friendly, explaining what he would need to do and the time it would take. We left him to get on with the job in a heatwave, so fair play to him managing work in the heat. After the work he tidied up and showed me how to connect to the app and was on his way promptly at the time he said he would be finished. Excellent service and would recommend. Many thanks. Liz

Owen arrived promptly, installed and explained everything well and tidied up once he had finished. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an EV Charger & Installation!

Absolutely excellent service from start to finish. Dan was superb, texted in advice to let me know he was coming and rough ETA. Followed by a detailed walk through of what he was going to do and ensured I was happy with placement of external equipment etc. The job was a very neat and tidy finish with all rubbish cleared away. A good introduction on the equipment installed ensuring I was content before he left. Dan was 5*. Good effort.

Had our EV charger installed yesterday by Jason Metcalfe and I can say we were highly delighted. Nothing was too much trouble and he very kindly positioned the fuse board exactly where we wanted it inside our house as it was near the main meter. Truly excellent job and tidied up the mess afterwards, and took the time to let me do a test charge while he was still here to make sure I was happy and understood it. Would highly recommend.

It was easy to book the installation. The communication was good, knew in advance what time to expect the engineer. Jason Metcalfe was friendly and helpful and did a great job installing the charger. It took less time than expected - 2.5 hours and we haven’t had any problems so far. Very pleased, many thanks!
