I have had an incredibly positive experience with both booking my appointment and my assessment with Dr Munir. Booking was straightforward and communication was excellent when a consultant change was needed due to unavoidable ill health, I couldn't have asked for better. Dr Munir was absolutely fantastic throughout my assessment. I felt heard and in a wonderfully personable and positive way. Dr Munir explained the process of the assessment clearly and then later explained the outcome of the assessment in a way that showed he clearly listened to the information I (and my family) had shared, including picking up on the nuances in an inciteful and completely non-judgemental way. I left with clarity on my diagnosis, the options open to me, and the benefits and consequences of all of those for me as an individual based on what he had learned about me in the assessment. His approach made me feel respected as a professional person and heard as an individual with both strengths and challenges, all of which make me 'me'. I'm not sure I could have asked for more. Thank you, I can now digest what this means for me and my life, but I feel a little lighter already!

I had an assessment done December 2024 in which I was told I did not have ADHD. I recently decided to have another assessment with a different provider.

The experience with the psychiatrist/assessment was completely different. The one I had with augmentive did not spend as much time asking questions and really getting to know me. It was quite short compared to the one I had with a different provider and the assessor was not as compassionate.

If I'd been correctly diagnosed over a year ago when I had the assessment, I would have been able to start treatment much sooner. Instead, I spent over a year dealing with the symptoms of ADHD without any explanation, which was really confusing and, honestly, quite debilitating at times.

She's awesome!!! Highly recommend.

Positive and stress free is the best way I can describe it! It’s been a journey to get here, but I’m so glad I ended up using this company.

I was previously diagnosed via another company, which left me with nothing but stress. After a series of events, my partner encouraged me to move over to Augmentive. He has been with them for over 12 months now and couldn’t recommend them enough.

I spoke to Sarah, who was nothing but helpful, understanding and kind. My previous company hadn’t properly done things, I had to go through the assessment process again. Although this unfortunately couldn’t be avoided, Sarah has been amazing and so understanding of what a stressful situation i have been going through.

Dr Johnny Iyiola was great, and when choosing a doctor for your assessment, I would highly recommend him. He was thorough, and at the end of the call I felt seen and validated. Although I already knew I had ADHD, it was really refreshing to have it confirmed through a company that I can trust.

Every person I have spoken with has been quick to respond, patient, helpful and friendly. If you’re looking for a company you can trust, this should be at the top of your list.

I’ve been with Augmentive for around 12 months now and I genuinely can’t recommend them enough.

They’re not the cheapest ADHD provider out there, but after seeing the other side of it, I completely understand why. My girlfriend went with a cheaper online ADHD clinic and, after around 8 months of paying for the diagnosis, titration and private prescriptions, we found out the assessment and treatment weren’t being recognised in the way we expected for ongoing NHS care. It’s been a nightmare and really highlighted how important it is to choose the right provider from the start rather than just looking at the diagnosis price.

My experience with Augmentive has been completely different. The diagnosis felt thorough and properly done, and the ongoing care has been excellent.

Natascha in particular has been amazing. She’s down to earth, easy to talk to and understands ADHD not only from the medical side, but on a much more personal level too. That level of understanding is honestly invaluable when you’re trying to navigate diagnosis, medication and everything that comes with ADHD.

The team behind the scenes are brilliant as well. Sarah has always been fantastic, and whenever I’ve had an issue or needed something sorting, it’s been dealt with quickly and without any hassle.

It’s genuinely made the whole journey so much easier to deal with and, for me, has been a bit of a lifesaver. If you’re considering going private for ADHD, I’d definitely recommend looking beyond just who offers the cheapest assessment. I’m very glad I chose Augmentive.
