I have been contacted by Astral at BetterRoaming, and she has been excellent.
My overpayments have now been refunded and her service has been excellent.

I cancelled my plan 3 years ago, and they are continuing to bill me.
I regularly contact them, and they tell me it's taken care of, and it happens every time.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE.

Kept charging me after I’d cancelled the service, and when I raised it they would only give me 50% back.

“I tried using BetterRoaming and…

“I tried using BetterRoaming and unfortunately had a really poor experience. They charged me, but the service never actually worked, and I couldn’t find a customer service number to get help. Just a heads-up for anyone else considering it.
It’s a waste of money and time

Constant reception issues. Call only connect perhaps 5% of the time. No way to contact any form of customer support - you have to lodge an email ticket

Ich wollte für mein Kind auch eine…

Ich wollte für mein Kind auch eine E-SIM auf der Apple Watch einrichten. Nach Befolgung aller Einrichtungsanweisungen passierte nichts, nur das Geld wurde abgebucht, obwohl gerade eine 7-tägige Gratis-Testaktion läuft. Auch in meinem Kabinet wird nichts angezeigt. Mir ist auch nicht klar, wie ich die SIM-Karte abmelde. Ich werde eine Rückerstattung über meine Bank beantragen.

Extremely disappointed with their service and product. They don't deserve 1 star!! Signed up for one year upfront for my child apple iwatch se and it doesn't even work. My recommendation is not sign up for 1yr, try month by month so you are happy. Look elsewhere

impossible de mettre l'eSim sur une applewatchSE3

J'ai acheté l'apple watch SE3 pour l'anniversaire de ma fille avec pour but de pouvoir communiquer avec elle quand elle est dans son autre famille, mais le forfait de BetterRoaming n'est pas compatible en France avec visiblement sans aucune visibilité sur une future compatibilité, j'attend mon remboursement mais je suis extremement deçu etant donné que c'est le seul fournisseur possible en France pour ce type de forfait et certifié par Apple (on se demande comment)

Don't get the apple watch for your kid

Don't bother with the apple watch if this is the only option for connectivity. We are in Sydney metro, service connectivity is not great! GPS rarely updates until end of day (too late by then) rendering it completely useless. Messages always have delays between send and receiving - also making it useless. Not happy with any component of this service. Save your money, get the phone instead, or get another watch. Also had a payment taken out the following year which i was positive i had cancelled (even checked it 2 times to make sure) only to have it go through anyway. Am going through cancellation and request for the refund as we speak.
UPDATE: Refund is currently pending to be processed shortly, but it was an easy process to complete and staff were easy to deal with too.

Very disappointing

Bought my daughter an Apple Watch for her Birthday. I thought it would be a click-go process with the suggests from JBHiFi staff. Back home, registered an account and filled a form but after that nothing made through like blocked out the door way. I could never pay successfully. Searched around for contact, email is the only methodology but still didn’t resolve the issue. Left question mark still. It has been a month already. Here I am, I guess this is the only way to contact Betterroaming.

I have never written a review before

I have never written a review before. But had to for this. Better Roaming has been a complete disappointment. It’s the only service provider for Kids Apple Watch to have it functioning without a phone. I would recommend not getting the Apple Watch to avoid having to liase with Better Roaming. You pay, yet the service won’t get connected. I am still emailing them trying to get a connection for the service. I have begged them. They send emails that don’t provide a solution that actual fixes the problem. I am still waiting for help. Better Roaming… I AM BEGGING YOU TO HELP ME AND FIX THE PRODUCT I HAVE PAID FOR. PLEASE.

Für AppleWatch nicht kompatibel

Auch wir haben ein Abo für die AppleWatch abgeschlossen um eine Erreichbarkeit für die Kinder sicherzustellen.
Die Uhr funktioniert mit dem Vertrag nicht, der Support ist telefonisch nicht zu erreichen und auf Sprachnachrichten reagiert ebenfalls keiner.

Poor coverage on kids Apple Watch

Using betterroaming for my daughter’s Apple Watch. She doesn’t have an iPhone so the watch stands alone. Whilst it’s easy to sign up and get working the reception is terrible. We live on the outer suburbs of Melbourne and it will often not have 4G reception - which defeats the purpose of it and hinders our ability to send messages to and from the phone. If you live in a capital city’s inner suburbs you’d probably have no issue but outside that might be best to try another carrier. I believe betterroaming uses Vodafone. Not sure how apple can recommend only this carrier? I notice they bury in their sign up / website that they use the less reliable Vodafone network.

Preventing cancellation to trap a customer

My daughter’s 2023 Watch plan with Truphone has been changed to a plan with this company. I’ve tried to cancel the annual plan before it’s automatically renewed. They’ve supplied a form to do this that doesn’t work, won’t reply to messages and are trying to make exiting an unwanted contract as difficult as possible. This company is not reliable or trustworthy.

roczny abonament bez połączeń głosowych

Niestety ale, po zakupie już drugiego rocznego abonamentu (esim) do apple watcha dziecka przestały działać rozmowy przychodzące i wychodzące (po 4 miesiącach od odnowienia abonamentu). Support twierdzi że moja lokalizacja nie obsługuje rozmów 3G więc nie będzie rozmów w ogóle. Sugerują używać rozmów po WiFi, które są przecież niezależne od abonamentu. Jest to jawne oszustwo. Prowadzę rozmowę z supportem w sprawie zwrotu za abonament. Niestety osoby odpowiedzialne za support nie ułatwiają tego doświadczenia.
Jeśli nie dostanę zwrotu chociaż połowicznego, sprawa zostanie zgłoszona do UOKIKu i na policję za oszystwo.
Przez poprzedni rok usługa działała super a teraz się całkowicie zepsuła. Szkoda. Nie polecam

Unfortunately, after purchasing a second annual subscription (eSIM) for my child’s Apple Watch, incoming and outgoing calls stopped working (four months after renewing the subscription). Support claims that my location does not support 3G calls, so there will be no calls at all. They suggest using WiFi calls, which are completely independent of the subscription. This is outright fraud.

I am currently in discussions with support regarding a refund for the subscription. Unfortunately, the people responsible for support are making this experience very difficult.

If I don’t receive at least a partial refund, the matter will be reported to the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) and to the police for fraud.

During the previous year, the service worked perfectly, but now it’s completely broken. A shame. I do not recommend it.

These individuals are a scam

These individuals are a scam. I subscribed for one year but never received a connection for calls or texts. Only the 7-day free trial worked. After that, there was zero connection. It was a total waste of time and money. I will be suing this company.

Absolutely disgusting service!!! You’re not a company you thrive of pretending to provide a service that does not work!!! And happily take people money!! Shit show, no contact number to call, never respond to emails.

I bought a data plan from BetterRoaming…

I bought a data plan from BetterRoaming for my trip to Peru. Everything seemed fine until I got there, the data plan was supposed to activate automatically upon my arrival in Peru. However, once I landed, I received an email from them confirming the activation of this plan but I had no internet! I wrote to them and initially received a reply that I did not have any active data plan for Peru, then I received another email asking me for certain data that I did not have and to do certain settings that were already done anyway. In any case, during the entire period I did not benefit from the internet that I had paid for. I am attaching some of the correspondence with them as proof.

Apple Watch nie erreichbar.

Haben für die Erreichbarkeit unseres Sohnes eine Apple Watch angeschafft und über den Betreiber ein Jahresabo angeschafft. Leider war die Erreichbarkeit unter 10% in der Dauer des Abos, sodass es unzumutbar ist, solch ein Produkt überhaupt noch am Markt anzubieten.
