Just purchased a blink system from Amazon the parent company of blink. You have to download the blink app to be able to set it up. Download the app you then have create a blink account. Blink account requires a password which meets their requirements but does not allow you to create an account.
Utter rubbish does not not inspire confidence and a complete waste of my time. Not even worth one star on the rating Amazon you need to up your game.

My worst experience with his outdoor camera was when it was purchased and used for three months, but then the battery started to run low, on bling site stated that the battery would last for two years, but that was incorrect information that you were given to buy the product. I am very dissatisfied with this product and would avoid purchasing it.

Careful here! They ask £80.00 for a subscription via Amazon so that you can record your clips, except they don't record!

I'm currently on the phone to Blink and have been for over half any hour, mostly on hold.

There's clearly some sort of scam going on there as they are selling you something that doesn't exist!

When they're working, they're good. More and more I find after detection of movement, it can take minutes before you get a live picture.
I'm planning on replacing my 6 cameras with a different system

When working would probably be a good camera (permanently plugged in mini) but very seldom that it works as it continually loses WiFi connection. Have not taken the contract option as no point in paying a subscription for something I cannot use. Camera is less than 3 MTRS from hub.

*follow up from customer service* Customer service emailed me in regard to a resolution. I told them about the battery life and they basically told me to purchase a sync 2 module for £35.

So the product doesn’t work as advertised and you ask me to purchase an additional module to make it function as it should? This to me is shocking, no offer of a discount, it’s just seriously unacceptable. I won’t bother with Blink again.

So, I finally managed to install my doorbell. The image quality is decent however, the battery life is just awful. Im not sure if it’s pulling too much power from the WiFi but I’d expect it to last longer than two weeks!

I can’t afford to be buying Lithium Batteries every two weeks and wiring up isn’t possible so, I’m not sure where to go from here…

Disappointed as on MANY MANY occasions the camera does not trip and record events

Poor customer service as they basically ignore this issue

What a terrible company to deal with. I bought the video doorbell for a vulnerable disabled person and it won't work after dark when it's most needed. I've tried phoning and emailing them with no reply even though I left my details.

I was happy until I changed my wifi router and it has not worked since. The online help are pathetic and are giving me instructions as to how to fix it, however this did not work so they just keep repeating the same instructions. pathetic

Doorbell worked until the free 30 day subscription ran out. After that it takes forever to load video clips or fails to load them at all. Virtually useless now. Functionality is reduced to a bare minimum unless you buy a monthly subscription for a product you already paid £70 for. Will be dropping it in the nearest bin. Don't waste your money on this garbage that is just another catch to fund Jeff Bezos next yacht.

My advice after several years use - avoid buying Blink

Sync unit disconnects when it feels like it and is very difficult to reconnect. Just spent 15 mins with telephone support who took me through the process to connect which I had been through several times myself with no success BUT it did then magically connect. However an hour later it disconnected again. So another hour is going to be wasted tomorrow.

I have had Blink for several years now and not had so many problems that I now have. I had to buy expensive sync unit replacements as I could tell if they were working as the green and blue lights stopped lighting up so can’t tell if they are working or not.

Where is Amazons famous customer service - it’s gone, and so shall I if this keeps happening - gone buying a more robust system.

DO Something to delight me Blink else I’ll be gone in a blink of an eye

Worked for about a week. Sync module went offline and won't reconnect. Support sent me 101 things to do, still doesn't work. Glad we didn't pay and were bought them as I wouldn't buy from them again

I regret investing in Blink.
I have bought a Blink door ring bell and two external cameras with two solar mount. The solar mounts broke a little over a year later, and stopped charging.

This issue not only compromises the long-term viability of the cameras but also negates the environmental benefits of solar power.

The advertised two-year battery life for Blink devices is another area of concern. In reality, this lifespan is often significantly shorter, requiring frequent battery replacements every 5-6 months in the summer and every couple of months in the winter. This contradicts the core selling point of low-maintenance, long-lasting security.
Furthermore, the delay in notification delivery is a major drawback. I have reported multiple times to Blink (with screenshots included) receiving alerts at my door ring bell 20 minutes after the button was pressed.

In conclusion, Blink products have fallen short of expectations, exhibiting performance levels comparable to cheap, low-quality knock-offs. The combination of hardware failures, misleading battery life claims, and delayed notifications renders them an unreliable and ultimately unsatisfactory home security solution.

The blink video door bell is a pain in the back side as the batteries run out and need replacing every 2 weeks even when your using Duracell. I think ring doorbell hard wired is a way better option compared to this.

Looking at the reviews below it is clear these cameras are not fit for purpose. I have moved house and had nothing but trouble in trying to get them to work. I Contacted blink and they are calling me back after. No call. Went on the website carried out all there flow charts etc and it still didn’t work.
The Aftersales is shocking. Don’t waste your money.

ich habe zwei Kameras gekauft und war am Anfang auch zufrieden, aber nur am Anfang! Um die beiden Kameras weiterhin benutzen zukönnen, werden die Kameras nur
über eine ABO Forderung freigeschaltet von der vorher keine Rede war. Es wäre gut, wenn die Firma sich schnellstens etwas positives einfallen läst. Also ich werde dieses Systhem gewiss nicht weiter empfehlen und in die Tonne klopfen.

Ich habe lange überlegt was man mit der Kamera noch machen könnte. Z.b. mit zum Strand nehmen, sollte man keinen Ball dabei haben, kann man sie zum fangen benutzen, oder im Wasser liegen lassen. Einen anderen Nutzen dürfte es nicht mehr geben.
Live Video funktioniert so gut wie nie.. einfach nur Schrott.

This system from Amazon is an absolute scam. I bought a 2 camera system, in the beginning it worked fine then one day I could no longer access the cloud stored clips. I had no idea when I bought them that the cloud storage was for a limited period. No problem I thought I'll use local storage, this worked for a while but then stopped. The sync module seems to destroy USB sticks. It's as though Amazon are forcing you into a subscription. I'll be throwing them in the bin and never purchasing from Amazon again.

Als Antwort kommt, man solle sich die Themen in der FAQ durchlesen ... und das bei jeder Anfrage. Das ist kein guter Service, wenn man darauf angewiesen ist, dass die neue Tel.Nr. im System zur Anmeldung relevant ist.
