SCAM! They should not be operating

Totally unprofessional!

We lost our flights, a lot of money, holiday dates that I booked well in advance from my job.. We were looking forward to our trip. It has been an absolutely headache dealing with this company. After waiting for the visa for more than 30 days (when I was told it would take up 15 days} we received a message from the delivery company DX few days ago saying that they had receive it on Thursday and it would be delivered today Monday 18/08. I waited all day at home, then I contacted them to be told that they haven't received it, that I should contact BLS in case the delay is at their end...when you call BLS they cant give you any information, so with the tracking number I checked on their website and it says "Passport dispatched via courier", but the courier says they haven't received .... this is a joke, scam! the way they play with our money, time.....
Shame of BLS and for using a rubbish courier as DX. I just want my passport and forget about all this. SCAM, SCAM! and shame of the Spanish consulate to use this rubbish
If they cant manage a high volume of applications the should have told us!!!!!!! BTW, I paid for premium and this is what I have ,,,nothing after more than 35 days not even a proper answer about where my passport is

Review of [BLS Spain Visa] Visa…

Review of [BLS Spain Visa] Visa Appointment Website for Spain

I had an extremely poor experience with this company’s online system for booking a visa appointment for Spain. After logging in and selecting the visa type under the "Book New" tab, the site only displayed this message:

“Thank you for accepting the data protection information. We have sent the same details to your registered email as well. Kindly open the email and click the accept button to proceed further.”

The problem is, I never received any such email — even after waiting for almost a month. I confirmed that my email address in the account is correct, but nothing arrived (not even in the spam folder).

The booking page also shows no available calendar, so I can’t even choose a date. Many of the downloadable forms on the site are broken or lead to dead links, making it impossible to prepare documents properly.

When I contacted customer service, they advised me to use Google Chrome, but that did not resolve anything. The guide video on the website shows a completely different booking process compared to what actually happens when you try it yourself.

Overall, this website feels like a waste of time. It’s unresponsive, misleading, and doesn’t function as advertised. I cannot recommend relying on it for booking a visa appointment.

Disastrous experience

Disastrous experience! I applied over 3 weeks ago, and based on their processing time on their website, I should have received a response. Btw, I have travelled to Europe before, not for the first time—lost money due to flight and hotel bookings. If you can, just avoid the London BLS honestly. If you call to track, they will say we can not provide any updates as the visa is with the consulate. Irony. I do not even have my passport to travel elsewhere

Would put 0 stars if I could

Would put 0 stars if I could. Will probably echo lots of reviews already. The experience of submitting for visa was actually smooth, you pay 200 pounds but at least it's fast. What is disastrous is that they have a huge backlog of applications and still somehow accept even more applications despite them absolutely not being able to manage it. I applied on 17 July, got a response on 11 August, almost 4 weeks later saying that I have to provide new round trip tickets (my previous ones are not valid anymore now obviously as they were for 1 August, and I lost them of course given they were late in reviewing my application). I moved them 3 times, lost lots of money on trips and hotels, provided now new tickets for 15 August. No response whatsoever from the visa center or the consulate. Probably not going to make even this flight. Very unhelpful and disrespectful. Don't apply if you have less than 6 weeks before your trip I would say. They should at least make people aware of this on the website and in person! complete disappointment. Never again!

Staff rude, unhelpful and unkind

Missing my flight tomorrow (14th Aug), cause of no update from BLS. I submitted my application on 22nd July early morning, got the message that it has been sent to consulate on 28th July, nothing since. So it was just sat in their office for almost a week. Now whenever I call them or email them they say they cant do anything and staff is super rude, unkind and unhelpful. the phone rep person told me today that since they haven't sent the passports out yesterday so even if they have it today I am not getting it before my flight tomorrow cause it takes 1 day to post. Absolutely useless, they could escalate to consulate, they dont, they could give option for me to come collect in situation like this, they dont. They charge for services and dont provide any service worthy of that price. I have paid total of £121.14 of my hard earned money, which they have not provided service for.

Cobros arbitrarios que los hacen pasar por obligatorios, no entregan comprobante de pago, no existen las horas de citas, un servicio que duplica el costo normal de la tramitación de una visa. Pésima atención de los trabajadores, todos estan coludidos para sacar dinero y engañar a la gente. Desde la página web que da información incorrecta que sorprende al usuario y obliga a pagar formularios y fotografías.

Worst app

Worst app, they didn't give appointment to genuine student, it's totally scam, i get entry 15 times to the booking window and they kicked me out from there, it's totally waste of time and playing with futures of thousands of students.

Worst

My experience with BLS Canada has been nothing short of frustrating and deeply disappointing. Ever since the Consulate General of India stopped accepting walk-ins, the service provided by BLS has deteriorated significantly. Despite countless complaints from applicants, the system remains broken — and it almost feels intentional.

Applicants are often forced to visit the center multiple times (sometimes 3 to 4 times) just to get a straightforward application processed. Staff frequently provide incomplete or misleading information, resulting in unnecessary rejections and delays. Instead of improving the system, there appears to be a complete lack of accountability or desire to streamline the process.

What’s more troubling is the behavior of some staff members — unprofessional, indifferent, and at times, seemingly trained to make the process as opaque and painful as possible. It's hard not to feel like the entire operation is running in tandem with unethical practices and officials who turn a blind eye to the chaos, if not encourage it.

The Indian government needs to take responsibility and address these systemic issues. Public service should not feel like navigating a scam. Many of us are just trying to access basic services with dignity and respect.

Until serious reforms are made, this will continue to reflect poorly not just on BLS, but on the institutions that empower and protect such a deeply flawed process.

They don't care- assume they will screw you over

Typos in emails, "Lost" payment TWICE from THEIR OWN WEBSITE, missing requirements on the website, no way to directly contact them and the call center is full of verbally abused Indians with no access to any sort of information that could actually help people. My bank was concerned that I was being scammed as well due to how unprofessional the emails were and the number of "BLS SCAM" news articles. Plus, they are only "open" during the week from 9-5. I sent my application in on 16/6, and it took until THE VERY LAST DAY OF JULY for them to tell me they only accept bank statements from checking accounts.

If you can: book two appointments in person, one to get told how you (they) screwed up, and the second one to come back with the "proper" documentation. I'm probably going to have to delay my schooling a year because of their inability to run what should be a 90% automated process.

Absolutely disastrous service in…

Absolutely disastrous service in London. Call center has no clue what actually needed and follows general script - we spent money on tons of documents which are non needed. Applied June 26 booking a month in advance, no answer over 4 weeks, had to withdraw son's application since he needs to travel elsewhere, but they cancelled ALL family applications!!! Emails are silent - no response over a week. So our trip is not happening despite we booked all flights.

Don't use BLS

Don't use BLS. You've been warned! As a first country of passage Spain is the worst possible choice due to the mindless incompetency of the people working at the consulate. It doesn't help that the people working here refuse to submit half your documents for no apparent, rational reason. If you haven't already booked your holiday to Spain, and you're not willing to risk 1000s do not trust BLS and the Spanish consulate.

I would call BLS an "extortion racket" being run in collusion with Indian authorities.

I would have gladly given BLS a zero-star rating if the platform allowed it, but unfortunately, the minimum is one star.
The staff at the Brampton branch appear to scrutinize applications for the smallest of mistakes, only to reject them outright. What follows is a troubling pattern: applicants are either forced to reschedule and return for another appointment or pressured into paying $100 for BLS to fill out the forms on their behalf. It’s a situation manufactured to take advantage of urgency.
Many individuals travel from distant provinces, some driving for hours or flying in—only to be met with long, exhausting queues that begin as early as 5 AM. It's a scene of distress, not service. I spoke to several people, and none of them had their applications processed on the first day. Most had to return a second or even third time.
The entire experience brings to mind the bureaucratic inefficiency often seen in some government offices back in India. This is unacceptable. The Indian government should seriously reconsider its contract with BLS or demand significant improvements in their service standards.
