I researched smart robot vacuum online and found what appeared to be a genuine site ranking best 2025 robot vacuums. The Cleanova Glide M7 was ranked 1st. Thought I'd done my due diligence. Website, checked - it was UK, states UK company with express delivery 3-5 days. Checked Trustpilot, no bad reviews mid to late November. Black Friday deal gave further £50 off. Paid £150 on Nov 30th and waited. And waited. Started to chase up before Christmas, received 2 replies to emails, both positive saying item en route. I was getting nervous by now having seen bad reviews appearing on Trustpilot. Item arrived. Inferior item. Said strong suction - it hasn't. Said easy to link to WiFi- no, it isn't, I haven't been able to link it at all. Placed on a carpet it goes back and forth in a straight line and does the same bit over and over. It doesn't pick up bits or obvious fluff. A complete con. I've reported the company to my Credit Card company and they've noted the scam. Having once before gone through the purgatory of returning an item to China, I simply can't be bothered to go through it again. I never thought I'd allow myself to be conned like this at 72yrs of age but here I am, learning an expensive, sharp lesson. I'd like to think that eventually they'll be stopped from trading from the UK. May Karma catch up with all involved in this company!

If i could give this company minus stars I would not gonna go into details as everyone has experience the same issues not recieving product which was order on 4th Dec now once I've opened paypal case they want my bank details for a refund DONT FALL FOR THIS SCAM

Website states UK company with express delivery 3-5 days. Never received anything apart from emails, thankfully i didn't fall for the 2nd part of the scam with the £50 voucher off next order. I sent numerous emails to cancel, once i came here for reviews. They say they can't cancel orders but i can return it once delivered. After 3 weeks they emailed saying for logistical reasons won't be sending my order.
Won't refund my money either unless i close my paypal claim. so as PayPal have to deal with it now!

So sick of these Chinese scammers!

Having ordered a robot vac on 10th Dec then visiting Trust Pilot my heart sank reading the reviews.

Straightaway I emailed Calyra expressing my disappointment the website was a scam.

I exchanged numerous emails and was reassured Calyra are not a scam my order had been processed and on its way.

I was absolutely stunned to receive a quality robot hoover via Evri three weeks later.

Ordered a Aerosweep Hoover £160 and received a cheap Mopping Machine, do NOT order from Calyra.co.uk, making all excuses not to refund, offering discounts to keep the keep the machine which can be brought online for £12

Like all the other reviewers I was totally scammed, directed to their website by a fake review site😭 will be wiser in future, now trying to get my money back via PayPal, please do not buy anything from

Ordered the robot vacuum 5 weeks ago. Still has not arrived. This is a complete scam. I am a pensioner with limited mobility and my son paid out for this as a xmas treat. We have effectively lost hard earned money which we can ill afford to loose. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Total scam company, ordered a branded vac and got a Chinese knock off £30 high street special no brand vac. Was told return would be too costly so was offered a partial refund which obviously isn't good enough. I contacted PayPal about it and PayPal sided with these criminals so I'm currently seeking advice from trading standards and will be seeing my bank manager in the very near future.
Avoid this scam company at all costs.

The item arrived weeks late, by which time I had had to buy from elsewhere. They advised not to return as he said that the p and p would be more than the value of the item hahaha, so offered a 15% discount instead. Honestly, what a scam. I will be returning the item (p and p is not more than the value, of course) . This is the worst possible company. Truly terrible.

They sell from a .co.uk website, claiming to only deliver within the UK. In fact they are in Hong Kong and send from China. They refuse to let you cancel, which is your right under the distance-selling regulations. They claim to have good return conditions. When my £175 vacuum cleaner finally turned up, it was clearly not remotely worth the money. I asked to return it to their UK address and was told I had to return it to China at my expense. Challenging this, I was offered a 15% refund and keep the vac. A strong letter of complaint led to an offer of 60% refund and keep the vac. Fortunately I was advised to ask my bank to do a charge-back, even though the transaction was made with a debit card, not a credit card. I have received a full refund via the bank, though it will apparently take some months for this to be irreversible. Don't go near Calyra.

Also wish I have checked out the reviews here. Seems I have much the same story. Ordered a telescope at £150 and to my horror some cheap plastic one arrived that is not even the one I ordered. Other reviews seem to have paid £120. The telescope looks like a child’s fake one. I sent so many emails to find out where the package was, and although they responded- weeks later the package arrived. I very much doubt they will take the package back. So annoyed with myself for being scammed!

I wish I had checked out this company before ordering. Ordered robot vac on 5 December based on a review which I now realise is probably fake. Tracking has not changed since order date. Was advised by Calyra that item had been shipped. Responses from this company are obviously bulls**t. Have asked for refund.

Ordered a Telescope. Received a flimsy plastic thing of horror. Want to send it back but the usual China thing: given an address that doesn't exist with massive shipping costs. Uncommunicative so wasting the 14 day period you can send back. I have reported them to my CC company. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS 'COMPANY'

Terrible product. Cheap cheap cheap scam. Don't buy. Directed via fake review site and totally regret decision. Took months to arrive and now fighting for refund.

I did receive the telescope that I ordered . . . eventually, but it is just awful. Plastic, cheap rubbish that doesn't work. It was a present for my grandson for Xmas. A massive disappointment for both of us. At over £140 for something that probably cost £5 to make. Just awful.

Black Friday caught me! I am always skeptical of on line shopping after placing my order I was suddenly terrified that I had been scammed. The Shop tracking app didn’t show any activity, but I did get a message from Relay, I read all the reviews here and nearly died, they took a little long to response to me emails, and today it arrived! Perfect! It was exactly what I ordered albeit a few days after Xmas. Works great so far! I’m pretty chuffed!

Scam - was directed to this site via a product review. Presumably planted via a savvy digital marketer. Unclear when buying you are purchasing from HongKomg. Delivery states 5-12 days. Ordered nearly a month ago. Customer service unable to confirm who the courier is, or what courier service is they are using. Couldn’t even confirm if it was air or sea freight. Tracking site/number don’t work. Don’t use these people - most products can be sourced on Amazon 24 hour UK delivery and cheaper (discovered after ordering)

If I could give less than 1 I would. DO NOT GO NEAR THIS COMPANY! They take your money and then keep stringing you along pretending that your item has been delivered when it hasn’t just so they can take your money and run. I ordered a vacuum cleaner in the ‘Black Friday sales’ from them and have still not received anything. Despite many emails back and forth they will not issue me with a refund and are now trying to say they attempted to deliver when they never did and trying to blame Royal Mail. I am now spending my Christmas Eve after a family bereavement on hold to Royal Mail as Calyra assures me that they tried to deliver to me but could not.
