Careem took my money without providing the service

I ordered careem box and they charged my card and for 2 hours I did not receive anything and the rider is not answering and he put that he delivered it while I did not receive anything! I complained and they returned my money after that my balance was in negative for the same amount and they deducted that from my card !!! I DID NOT RECEIVE THE ITEMS !!!!

My ride from airport on September 8th…

My ride from airport on September 8th was a terrible and unbelievable experience. I got a drive through Careem and that driver drove my parents to the hotel and I used uber. The Careem driver drove without confirming the ride and kept reaching out to me for the address. I told him the address should on his app and he said he had connection issues. I told him the address, he canceled the ride and drove as private driver. Upon arrival, he told me I had to pay 50 AED I gave him a bill of 500 AED and drove off without giving me my balance. The concierge at the airport saw it and told me to call customer service. I called their customer service and were not helpful at all. I messaged their live chat without any response. Be very careful with their app as also read a lot of bad reviews similar to mine.

Home cleaning service

If I could give less than 1 star, I definitely would. This was the worst home cleaning service I’ve ever experienced. I spoke with a call center agent, Eman, who was not helpful at all—she just kept repeating the same thing even after I explained that the cleaners never came to my home. I even have proof from my outdoor security cameras showing that no one arrived.

Despite this, she insisted that the professionals, Maria Teresa and Mary Cherry, came and knocked on the door but got no response—which is completely false. The app clearly shows my exact villa location, and it also indicated that the cleaners were “on the way,” yet they never reached my home.

This is unacceptable and very unprofessional. I hope someone looks into this serious issue, because customers should not be treated this way.

The worst food delivery app. Order food from here if you want to go hungry and loose money at the same time. The customer service is pathetic with no resolutions to your complaints. Its surprising how they exist with such pathetic service

We ordered food and not delivered …

We ordered food from jollibee Dubai today 5th September, at 9:37pm, to be delivered to Legoland hotel but no one got the food for us. When contacted the driver, he said to contact Careem. When asked again whether the food was delivered, we had no reply. Also contacted Careem and said that they delivered the food which is not true. What a scam! Do not use this service as they are not serious at all.

Captains often lack GPS access when…

Captains often lack GPS access when delivering food, which negates the purpose of the customer providing a GPS location (essential in the UAE). To be fair, Careem customer service did respond to me.

I had a problem with their app, which gives me a network error pop-up when it starts. Careem's "support" was pitiful. They did not seem to have read my initial problem statement nor any of my further replies to them; instead, they just sent the same "resolution" template twice, which seemed to be for Android (I have an iPhone) and asking me to include a screenshot of the error pop-up, which I did twice, to no avail.

I have given up trying to work with them to resolve this issue with their app.

Careem pay is very poor .

Careem pay is very poor .. their service is pathetic , I used it first time to make international transfer and it’s been 5 days already transfer is not yet successful. I contacted with the customer support they have no idea what’s going on they are not ready to refund my money or to cancel the transaction. NOW THEY ARE NOT RESPONDING ME AT ALL.

Health Risk: Careem Delivered Expired Food

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Careem.
I was delivered expired salmon (expiry date 29 August) on 2 September. When I contacted customer support, I was told: We can’t do anything, that’s what we have, throw it away if you want.

This is absolutely unacceptable and a serious health risk. Such negligence in handling food safety is shocking, especially in the UAE a country that prioritizes consumer protection and the highest safety standards!!

I expect Careem to take immediate responsibility and ensure this does not happen again!
Customers deserve respect and safe products, not excuses!
Not recommended this application ⛔️‼️

I ordered food through Careem and never…

I ordered food through Careem and never received it. The driver marked it as delivered, but the hotel reception staff clearly saw him standing outside and then leaving without giving me anything. They even tried to help me contact him, but he ignored all calls and messages.

I provided Careem with all the details, including photos proving that the driver stopped responding, but instead of solving the problem, they kept repeating the driver’s false claim.

This is unprofessional, unacceptable, and feels like fraud in addition to Terrible service. I paid for food I never got, and Careem refuses to refund me. No one should use their app.

Less than one star.
I placed an order, could see the driver getting lost on the tracking and after 1.5 hours, the order had still not arrived, but then appeared as delivered. I was waiting at the front door - it was not delivered.

Could not reach the driver by the Careem app, phone, or WhatsApp. I informed customer service. 30 minutes later, I had left to go to a restaurant to get dinner. I then received a message from the number on Careem that was supposed to be the driver, who said he was not the driver and gave me another number to contact. It was too late. I had been waiting 2 hours by this point and needed to eat before my flight!

Back and forth calls with customer service, and driver claims he delivered the order and was there, he wasn’t. Driver claims he tried to contact me - he didn’t. Surely, you can check the app and call history to check this?

I was initially told I would be refunded, and since then have been told I will not.
Particularly poor customer service from Siddique and Daniyal. Shame on you.

No refund, no further communication - disgusting thief's.

It’s simple - refund orders that are not delivered. It was my first ever order with Careem. Never again, but I will fight for my money back.

PS - From the UK - don’t use this service if you are visiting Dubai.

Careem does not allow you to submit ratings below good .. if you rate less than 4 stars the submit function will not be active.. also when they refund you, you can’t use the Careem plus free delivery with the amount in your wallet.. a poor customer service on top of all this..

Careem Food has completely lost my…

Careem Food has completely lost my trust. I accidentally placed an order and cancelled it **within 3 seconds**—yet they claimed the restaurant had already started preparing the food and refused a refund. That’s not just implausible, it’s insulting.

When the food finally arrived, it was missing **basic essentials**: no chopsticks, no cutlery, no napkins. How do you expect someone to eat sushi with their hands?

Careem’s cancellation policy is punitive and anti-consumer. Their delivery standards are sloppy. I’ve had better service from street vendors.

Until they fix their policies and start respecting customers, I won’t be using Careem again—and I’ll make sure others know.

I called Careem n made booking on the phone with the presence of Careem agent n manually put the pick up address. Careem App pin the address AUTOMATICALLY WRONG n INCORRECTLY. Careem charged me for the Technical Error of their app in a UNAUTHORIZED manner n WITHOUT MY PERMISSION.

THEY ARE SCAMMERS. OVER N OVER I SPOKE WITH THEM N TOLD THEM I CORRECTLY MANUALLY PUT THE ADDRESS IN FRONT OF THEIR AGENT ON TBE PHONE. THEY BLAME THE CUSTOMER. DID NOT GO N LISTEN TO THE PHONE CONVERSATION BETWEEN ME N THE AGENT N QUICKLY CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD AND THEN IN THEIR SYSTEM N ON THE CAREEM APP SHOWED THAT I RECEIVED THE DELIVERY. I NEVER RECEIVED THE PACKAGE BUT I WAS CHARGED BY THEM. THEY ARE THIEVES!!! AND THEY ARE LIARS. THEY HAVE FALSIFIED THE INFORMATION. N WITHOUT CUSTOMER PERMISSION CHARGED MY CARD.

WITHOUT MY PERMISSION MONEY WAS DEDUCTED FROM MY ACCOUNT. THEY HAVE NO INGREGITY, NO MORALS OR PRINCIPLES.

Worst food delivery company ever!!!!!

Unbelievable!I ordered items (food items) from a resturant. The Captain bought similar items from a different resturant. I raised a complain, attached the bill from the wrong resturant, photos of the items, and talked twice to customer support. Still they did not resolve the issue and are refuzing to refund the funds!
