Paid for box buy n delivery. The shop is 2 mins away from my home, it tookmore than 1 hr also it said max 30 min delivery n in the app they changed the time when it got delayed. Then after cancellation they charged me fees.
These people went from customer support to insider support n corruption.

Cab not arriving,No Customer service Map is misleading
the cab never arrived and I got charged .When I called the the captain, he was rude on the phone and said he was 20minutes away,while the app was showing the cab just 1 minute away.Asked me to cancel the trip.
complaining on the careem app is useless.Repeatedly complained on the app.No proper reply or solution.Just they close the ticket with a message 'RESOLVED'.There no refund or reversal of charges.

I booked a ride with Captain Asmatullah Khan at 2:11 PM for my mother, who is a Parkinson’s patient and had an important doctor’s appointment. The app showed the driver would arrive in 2 minutes — but he never turned up.
I called Careem support and spoke to Senior Manager Bilal, who apologized and said they could rebook or refund the fare. But here’s the shocking part: Careem refused to take responsibility for the 420 AED lost for the missed doctor’s appointment.
This is unacceptable. A company handling people’s transportation must value time, health, and trust. Careem failed on all counts — no reliability, no accountability.
If you value your commitments and family’s wellbeing, I highly recommend using Bolt instead of Careem. Bolt drivers have been more punctual, responsive, and professional in my experience.
⚠️ Careem’s slogan should be: “We’ll refund your fare, but not your wasted time, health risks, or lost money.”

Worst ride ever, i was inside the car already then the rider rejected my ride and asking for extra payment. I was in the middle of the road already left from my pick up point. This is not acceptable. I already paid for it and was deducted from my account, then the rider said it was cancelled and wants to open the meter. He then left me in the middle of the road when I don’t want to.

I booked taxi and it showed 7 mins to reach. after waiting for 5 mins, i contacted captain but he did not pickup my call. Over the next 10 mins i tried contacting him several times but no answer. Such a unprofessional behavior of a taxi captain.
Secondly, it was showing shorter route and 7 mins to reach. After 7 mins, it started showing some weird routes on the map and it was showing 15 mins to reach. Ultimately, the captain was in the same location for almost 15 mins. He never made it towards my location but he was routing via some longer and distant routes.

Abyssal Customer Service
I left my earpods case on the backseat and noticed immediately as I saw the driver drive away ignoring my signals. I called him immediately and he didn't pick up. I reported the lost item straight away and tried calling the driver again. Nothing. A few hours later I finally get a reply from a different man. My driver was young and spoke decent English but this was an old man who didn't speak a word. Turns out the number of the driver listed on his Careem Profile is of an LLC. How is that allowed? No one ever answered that question. It took TWO days for Customer Service to tell me they couldn't recover the item. Two days!! What if it had been something important like a wallet or phone? All I got from them was sorry and have a nice day. Between the increasing number of rude drivers, cars that stink of tobacco and sweat and the abyssal customer service it's no wonder they stand at the lowest possible score on Trust pilot. I have decided to boycott Careem indefinitely and so should you.

Careem in UAE is fraudulent company with horrible customer service. Their call centre staff are unprofessional and have zero job knowledge. They will charge you without giving any services so be careful with your account. Most of their customers are totally dissatisfied with their services and this company should be closed down asap.

This app is completely useless
This app is completely useless, and the ride experience is terrible. Drivers frequently cancel, and then Careem charges you for it. If you try to complain, they never respond to messages, and there’s no proper contact number to reach their customer support. I’m honestly glad I cancelled my subscription and deleted this awful app from my phone for good.

The delivery was significantly delayed, and to make matters worse, their customer service was completely unhelpful. It’s disappointing to experience such poor service on both ends.
I placed an order at 11:00 AM and the estimated delivery time was 11:30 AM. My address is only about 5 minutes away from the fast food location, yet the rider skipped my address and delivered to farther locations first. i've waited 2 hours for nothing! This is extremely frustrating and unacceptable!!!!!!!!!!

Please never add your card to Careem application. They misuse it, and will promise you over call and email the card is removed yet they kept charging.
And in the end they said somebody else is using your card, checked with bank, the card was authorised through careem with no otp
They are not even replying
So please never ever add cad to careem, they leak the details and when u ask for details they will say not in their hands

Worse Experience and unacceptable behaviour by the rider
I had a very unpleasant experience with Careem Box delivery. Even though I provided the correct address both in the app and on the package, the rider went to the wrong location. He then began knocking at someone else’s door and insisted that he would only deliver the package there — completely ignoring the actual delivery address.
When I tried to explain and asked him to deliver it to the correct location, he was extremely rude and uncooperative. He refused to move and said he would not leave that spot. On top of this terrible behavior, Careem charged me extra due to their rider’s mistake.
This kind of service is unacceptable. The lack of professionalism and accountability is deeply disappointing, and I hope Careem seriously addresses issues like this with their delivery staff and customer support process.
