Quick reliable service! Could have given me more money!

The initial quote was £300.
A company ( nielsons recovery) put in an offer of £750, which i believed to be a true estimate of the cars value.
Arrangements were made to collect, but on collection was made an offer significantly lower than was promised. Photographs of the car were sent and a full description was given prior to collection date.
I didnt have much choice but to accept the offer given as the car had been recovered to a friends driveway and had to be moved so as not to cause them any further inconvenience.
Initial offer was £750, but on collection (after being informed of the issues with the car, in complete honesty) the offer was reduced significantly to £350, and then £400 after an awkward situation trying to barter with the driver.
I have used your services a few times in the past as i buy cars for work purposes and i am usually the last owner before they need to be disposed of and i have never had an issue. The price quoted has always been the price paid.
This was not a good experience

Easy to get a quote, booked a date without issue and the car was collected by a friendly operative that explained the next steps of the process

Excellent experience from start to finish. The guys emailed regularly to keep us updated and called on the day with collection times. Really well organised. Would have no hesitation in recommending.

Simple, fast and helpful. Got my Quote online. Got callback to organise a date for collection, lorry arrived 3 days later. Driver was very helpful, loaded the car in no time at all and I was paid. Ill be using this service again !!

Very easy to use, from getting an initial quote on Sunday evening, to them getting in touch the following day, Monday, to arrange collection of the car the next day, Tuesday, providing paperwork and quick release of funds, all on the Tuesday. Very smooth and quick process. The people who collected the vehicle were friendly and polite. Overall, an excellent service.

Booking made for next day collection. Timing specified as between 0700 and 1700 with 30 minutes' advance warning. Collection driver called in the morning to advise of an early afternoon collection time. All good so far. But then the collection lorry never showed up. Not just no apology for the inconvenience and disrespect, but in fact no further communication from driver or company at all. Do not recommend.

Company has given stock response to review "We've requested a reference number ..." I have received no such request.

Really easy to contact and SPEAK TO A HUMAN BEING!! The whole process was very easy 👍👍

Good overall service and communication between ourselves.

I thought this may be a scam, especially when they were unable to pick up my car as I was told the low loader was involved in an accident but the driver kept me updated & told me he couldn’t come. Although it was reallocated & I was promised a pick up that night but it didn’t happen but I was notified first thing the following morning and the money was transferred into my account reliably and easily within the promised time scale. So despite the short delay, the excellent customer service (especially of the pick up driver) still deserves four stars.

Fantastic experience, lovely lady contacted me to arrange collection, collected next day and was paid within 24hours! Will definitely use again if needed and would recommend to anyone, thank you

Really quick turn around, took less then 10mins to load on the van. Very polite worker. Would recommend and us again if needed.

I got the best price for my old car, the arrangements were made with lightening speed and the car was collected within days. In fact I was offered next day collection. Payment was in my bank by the end of the same day. So good my son used them the very next week!
