Cedarwood swing arrived and we unboxed. Had knots where the predrilled holes were. We started assembling and they immediately split before we could even tighten. Was a Saturday so contacted them on Monday. They answered we can not return and they wont fix because the box was opened and we started assembling. All parts were put back in the box and it is not pre-assembled. Their "Guarantee" and stated return if reported defective in 5 days was a total lie. Warrantee also no valid. Also was 5'10" not 6 feet. Some boards warped not only horizontal but vertical (maybe 30% or more). Pre-drilled holes were too large, and so there would be no support for an adult. Cedar seems not up to normal standard as won't hold the self-tapping screws. Seller said the manufacturer, apparently not them, refuses. But we bought from this seller.

This is a review for chairs that I purchased in 2021. Why am I just now writing this review? Because my chairs, after less than 3 years of MINIMAL use, are going in the garbage, and I just want people to know that longevity is not going to be your friend. We purchased chairs and a side table in June 2021. We had to wait months for them - they were not delivered until November. When we put the table together, and the legs were uneven (An email to the company about the table in November 2021 went unanswered), I knew right away that I was going to be disappointed in the whole purchase. And every time I've used my chairs since then, I have been disappointed. The bottom line is the chairs were just not made properly. We have assembled, unassembled, reassembled, used better hardware, used better glue, tried everything. The angle at which they sit when assembled is just wrong. The chair leans back at such an angle on the rocker bases that it basically leaves me staring at the sky like I'm sitting in a recliner. I wish the review would allow pictures. Last weekend, in what is the final straw that broke the camels back, while gently rocking in my chair trying to enjoy a cup of tea, the chair fell backwards. Fortunately the deck railing caught me before it became a big fall and I wasn't hurt. These chairs are at a vacation home that doesn't get much use. They should have lasted many years. Instead, I've spent the last 3 years being terribly disappointed every time I sit in them, and now find myself throwing them away before someone gets hurt. My only regret is that I didn't trust my initial instinct and fight to get my money back in the beginning when we assembled them the first time.

Edited to add based on response from company: My order numbers are 26581 (two chairs) and 26290 (two chairs and side table) - Orders were placed in June 2021. I emailed about the table being uneven on 11/10/21, which went unanswered - I know what company I ordered from, and I know these chairs are garbage.

Edited AGAIN - because the company response is ridiculous.
First of all, these chairs are on a covered screened in large porch. They are not out in the weather. Second, the fact that they were made wrong has nothing to do with the location of my chairs.
Finally, you do NOT respond to all messages within an hour because I have a whole slew of email communication from the time I ordered the chairs in June until they were delivered in November, some of which went unanswered for days.
Finally, I can't control where my emails go, but any reputable business would check their spam folder regularly for customer emails. I've worked in customer service for 25 years. I know how it works.
You completely changed your response and removed the part basically stating that I didn't buy the chairs from you. Clearly you don't want to address the issue. The chairs are garbage.
