I just finished college and had been sharing an apartment with my roommate. After graduation I was offered a job opportunity I could not pass up, only catch was moving from California to NJ. As a single college female who has watched way too much HGTV, my shared apartment had more things than I’d like to admit. My roommate suggested I use the moving company her parents used when they moved. My budget was pretty tight, so I was reluctant, but after speaking to their customer service rep, I felt so great about my decision and was blown away by the price! Needless to say, they moved my items with no issues. The crew was professional and efficient and no damage was done to any of my items! They even had a list so nothing was misplaced or lost!! If I ever move again, I will be calling Charter Van Lines!

Charter Vanlines was an absolute life saver during my family's move from Michigan to California. They arranged everything from packing to unpacking in our new home. They even made a list of all of our items so I could make sure nothing got lost in the move! Their customer service is amazing. They’re friendly and super helpful, suggesting things I never would have even thought of. They made sure we got the best professionals to move our things and we had support from the minute I called them until we got to our new place safely. Moving across country was really stressful, but they took a huge weight off my shoulders in helping us move. I am so thankful for the team at Charter Vanlines!

Charter Van Lines has exceeded our expectations as a moving company! As our parents are getting older, my husband and I decided to make the move back home to Pennslyvania from North Carolina to be able to assist them. We had contacted several other moving companies and we came across Charter Van Lines. They really blew us away with their great communication and amazing customer service. Their prices are extremely competitive and it was a perfect fit for our family. We were so worried about our things, but they arrived on time and with no damage! We couldn’t ask for better with a moving company. I would recommend doing business with them to anyone in the market looking to move out of state or across the country. Sometimes in life you just have to get away from the daily routine you’ve been in for so long, and I decided that the best way for me to do that was to move across the country. Moving from my place of birth, Houston, Texas all the way to Pennsylvania. At first I was worried about the hassle of taking all of my belonging from one point to the other, until I found Charter Vanlines, who made all my worries disappear. With friendly faces that exerted trustworthiness, affordable prices, and great communication I was easily able to get all my things moved over to my new place. Using Charter Vanlines was one of the best choices I made during this drastic change in my life, I highly recommend this company and their services for any moves in the future!

My wife and I had to move because I got a new job opportunity in Nevada. We lived in Maryland, practically our whole lives and this is the first time either of us made a cross-country trip. We decided to hire a moving company to help with the move. My wife and I shopped around for different rates and most moving company’s prices are outrageous. Then we found Charter Van lines. They offered the best service for the lowest price. All we had to do was sit back and watch. They packed up our belongings the right way, to prevent damages. They even offer a movers guarantee, which many of their competitors do not. My experience with their company was great. If I ever move again, I will be sure to call Charter Van Lines.

I moved due to a change in jobs from NORRISTOWN, PA (Montgomery County) to Elizabethtown, PA Lancaster County). Packing everything up, starting a new job and moving to a new area was a huge deal. Charter Van Lines made the move a lot less stressful. Their customer service representative was pleasant and helpful. They answered all my questions, provided helpful information and and gave a reasonable quote. Once the date of the move arrived, the movers showed up on time and were extremely courteous and professional. They treated my items respectfully as they loaded the truck. Once everything was ready to go, they took the most direct route to my new address. They unloaded the van with the same degree of professionalism as loading it. They put everything where I wanted it in my new home. They made the move easy and a lot less stressful. Thank you so much! 5 stars.

When my fiancee and I decided to move from Missouri to Texas we had no idea how we would manage to make the trip with all of our belongings. Charter made it quick and easy. Their customer service representative was fantastic and their movers were very professional. None of our belongings were damaged in the move and nothing was lost, something I was definitely worried about hiring someone else to handle the move. If you are considering a move from one state to another I cannot recommend Charter enough, they will save you a ton of time and grief and you won't have to worry about any of your belongings coming up missing like with some less trustworthy companies. I'd give them 6 stars if I could but unfortunately, they only allow 5.

Charter Vanlines were a great choice when deciding who to assist us with our family's move. I was impressed from my first phone call where I received my quote, all the way up until the last box was unloaded. They were friendly, hard working and quite honestly made the entire moving process so much easier than it would have been if we had not decided to hire someone. We would give them a 10/10 without a doubt, and would recommend them to anyone who needed help with their relocation needs.

I sent my info online to ask about the price, they called me back and gathered some information, the man told me the total will be 696$ but he will makes a discount so the total will be 969 (yes the price is increasing with the discount don't ask me how), he said give me your credit card number so I asked him to send me the bill to review it before paying, he kept saying no pay now, I insisted and he insisted, we spent around half an hour just saying please just send me the bill and I will call you back but he was only responding by no give me the numbers of your card...so I told him that I don't have one but I will call my father to give me his, he insisted not to end the call and have a conference call with my dad, I told him I want to awake him from sleep but he kept insisting, I told him that my father is outside the country and living in a different time zone, but he kept insisting, I said just send me the bill, he said we will give you 300$ discount, when he sent it it mentioned the total is 1396$ (yup more discount with more price rising) he kept refusing to hang out, then he said use another card than your father's, I told him that I don't have one, he said then how do you pay your bills and gas and grocery (which is not his business), I told him that I had one but it expired so I'm paying with cash, he said no you can't do that you have to contact the bank one month before the expiration and what you are saying is a lie, I told him that my bank is outside the US and I have to be their in person to have a new one and that will take time (still not his business), I told him that I will get back to you, he said the discount will be gone, I said I'm fine with it I don't have the credit card now anyway so when I have the number I will call you back, he said no just call your father while you're with me, I said sir please I can't let me just get back to you I only called to know the price not to make a ship now, he was no pay now or the discount will go, I said I will try my luck, he started screaming and said will you know you have to stop playing those games you will end up with bad luck through out your life and you will only get bad services as you deserve...I ended the call before he finish

A fantastic moving company I would recommend to ANYONE. Honestly, moving out of my apartment in Michigan to Florida was stressful at first. I didn't know how to make reservations and what the whole process was going to look like. A friend of mine suggested I try Charter Vanlines, and I am so thankful for that. They are THE BEST when it comes to moving from state-to-state. They don't do local moves, so keep that in mind. For college students looking for a cheap, easy, and effective way of getting to the best years of your life, consider this company. Also, if you are new to the whole moving across the country thing, consider their “Reserve a Move Date” option thing. I don’t see alot of other companies do that and it was really helpful, as well as their ability to give instant quotes.

Honestly, who likes to move? Not me! I have a full-time job, 2 kids, and a house full of memories to pack and unpack in a different state.

I’ve used a different moving company once before and didn’t like the experience. So you can imagine how hesitant I was about doing this all over again.

I’m so glad I went with my gut and chose CHARTER VAN LINES. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. The movers were extremely professional and handled all my possessions with care.

It’s really hard to find a company that works with such passion and takes pride in what they do. I’ve found that in CHARTER VAN LINES. Hopefully, we don’t have to move again, but I know who I’m contacting if that time ever comes!

First I must tell you about my experience with another moving company. In the past, I had an experience with movers that I usually don't want to be reminded of. The TV and my coffee table (that was made of glass) were broken. So I decided not to call movers anymore. However, I had to go move out to Ohio from Chicago and there was no other way to do it except hiring a moving company. A good friend of mine recommended Charter Van Lines Inc. and I took the chance. I did a good thing, they were amazing. On time pick-up and delivery. The best part everything was in perfect shape. So now I recommend them to everyone. It is all about finding the right company and I did. They are the BEST!!!

They made a difficult move easy! It was amazing how helpful they were. I moved 2 states over, and the stress of it all almost killed me! I have little kids, and a full time job at the time, I didn't have time to pack and move my whole house while living my life. I'm so glad my husband found this company. They took care of my fragiles and gave great customer service. And once we were at the new house, they were so helpful in putting boxes in the rooms that they belonged in. They were clearly labeled and effortless. The only thing i need to worry about was how my family had to deal with the move, not the actual move itself. Amazing

Charter Van Lines went above and beyond my moving expectations. Moving in general is a hard enough, but moving far away is even worse. However, Charter Van Lines made the move simple from the start. Beginning with the quote, which was reasonable and fair, to the movers who are friendly and accommodating. My personal items were safe and sound after reaching the new place, which was a top concern for me. Charter Van Lines made the scary task of moving into a pleasant and stress-free experience. Without them, I’m not sure how I would have been able to move.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Charter on a move from Washington DC to the Philadelphia area, I was initially anxious because we didn't have much time to plan due to it being for work. I called a few companies, left messages and even set emails, and Charter was the first to get back to me. The team I worked with was so kind and caring, they treated us as family from start to finish and made sure everything was scheduled properly. I would recommend Charter Van Lines to anyone, I've worked with other companies in the past for smaller moves and was still feeling stressed, but with this move with Charter I was at ease and able to focus on getting settled into my new home.

Charter Vanlines has been the best part about my move so far. I moved several hours away from my childhood home and was feeling very anxious about packing and moving all of my things so far. I have only moved once, and that was to my apartment during college. All I had to move was a futon and a few other essentials. Needless to say, 10 years later I have not only my things but my family's things. Kid collect so much stuff! The movers helped organize and label our things, took the time to explain their different services and listened to our needs. I didn't feel like they were trying to sell us services we didn't need, which was nice. I hope to never have to move again, but if we do, I'm using Charter Vanlines so at least I know that much will go smoothly.

This is one of the best company. Actually its the best company. I was moving from las Vegas to Florida and all went on well all my items were handled carefully and professionally. I had no broken things .my last movers made me go into losses but I'm grateful with Charter Van Lines they are the number one movers around

I was pretty anxious, considering I was making a big from my Brooklyn apartment to a condo in Chatham, New Jersey.

Plus, I’ve have had a few bad experiences with moving companies in the past. But Charter Vanlines vanquished my worries. It proved to be a top-notch moving company.

First, Charter Vanlines didn’t arrive late, and its movers were super friendly, and overall awesome guys.

Secondly, they handled my personal belongings the way I would handling them -- without being destructive in any way, which was nice, because who really knows with many of these so-called moving operations these days, right?

Many of these moving outfits hire people who don’t seem to pay much attention to what they do, and it shows in the way the movers handling your personal items. But Charter Vanlines wasn't like that in any way, shape or form.

I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Listen, I have had a really bad experience trying to move long distance with another company. They made promises that they could not keep up with and failed me miserably. I was supposed to leave VT at the beginning of September and with much delay am finally at my final destination. When the last company called and mentioned not being able to complete my requested task and that I would have to deal with another delay, I had enough. I was considering tossing whatever I had and just driving down myself. That is how frustrating it was, weeks of pure torture. Luckily Charter Van lines was able to provide some much needed relief. They were able to send me a truck by the end of the week and they took it from there. I received my items without a single scratch and am thoroughly impressed by the great customer service. I can admit I was bit much but they were very polite considering all that I went through with the other company. If I were to ever need movers again, I have their number and would recommend anyone to use their services. Thanks again guys!
